We live in a beautiful area of town, on a quiet street, within a luxury neighborhood. This unique place has a style all its own. Recently remodeled in 2024 with classy finishes, our basement was explicitly constructed to host our guests and is hardly recognizable as a basement getaway. It is full of light and refreshing upon arrival, having a touch of class and curb appeal to make your stay exciting and memorable.

The king bedroom suite sleeps 2 and features a king bed with a tranquil mattress. The 55" TV provides plenty of entertainment options, while the cozy chair and full standup mirror complete the space. The custom walk-in shower with a bench and two shower heads along with the atmospheric lighting is an inviting couple's romantic treat.

The second bedroom has a full/twin bunkbed with a twin trundle that sleeps up to 4 people. Sweet... sleepover! 😊. And oh, how grand, a separate bathroom accommodates the 2nd bedroom.

A Private desk/workstation was thoughtfully designed and supported with high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property for all your devices and streaming needs.

A custom Kitchen is conveniently equipped with oodles of amenities to improve your stay. It features a complimentary hot chocolate and coffee bar, freshly laid chicken eggs, and a spice rack to explore your exquisite culinary craft. Further, the pantry contains additional complimentary delights that the kiddos will appreciate. GUEST ACCESS:

On arrival, you will notice the home address #'s "1379" on the upper right of the 2-car garage on the front of the home. After dusk, driveway lights will be on to welcome and assist you during your check-in and arrival.

Two vehicles can be parked in the far-left driveway in front of the single-car garage, not blocking the 2-car garage on the right. Please feel free to park here throughout your stay. Additional parking is available on the street if needed.

You'll access the home through the 2-car garage, using the keypad code provided days before your stay. Once in the garage, you can enter the home through the door at the bottom of the stairs, also with keypad access provided in advance. There is secure storage in the garage for bikes, extra gear, or early luggage drop-off if needed.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

The upstairs home is our primary residence, and some noises may be heard, such as children, chairs on the wood floors, or a vacuum. We also have an elderly parent who lives with us and has dementia. He frequently makes trips to the mailbox, and you may hear his TV from the floor above. Sound machines are provided in each bedroom as a convenience if needed.

We have spent the last year working through the details of the basement renovations and preparing for the experience you are about to have. We want you to have a wonderful time and will do our best to ensure you have a pleasant experience. We are fully committed to ensuring a peaceful and comfortable stay for our guests. We are always open to your suggestions and feedback to further improve your stay.

The 2-car garage is shared with our upstairs home access and your basement home access. As the upstairs is our primary residence, we may cross paths as we come and go. Though we may not see you during your stay, you will always be welcomed with a friendly smile and hello if we catch you in passing.

Additional sleeping space is available in the living room, where the sofa doubles as a full pull-out bed. The house is a stylish remodel of a 60's split level that was featured in the 2009 Parade of Homes, completed by a sought-after, award-winning architectural designer.

This basement apartment is full of daylight and has a large utility room with kitchenette and laundry. Included appliances are a fridge/freezer, micro-convection oven, coffeemaker, Instapot, toaster and washer/ dryer. Seating for 6 combine at the nook table and the butcher block island bar. Our place is a large daylight walk-out basement apartment with private entrance. It includes: 2 bedrooms, bathroom, laundry area, kitchen, and family room. We recently updated the finishes and decor. We are excited to meet new people and hope you love it here. We are located in a quiet neighborhood in southwest Lehi. Close to restaurants, theaters, shopping, etc.

It has 2 spacious bedrooms with closets; a bathroom with tub/shower combo and basic toiletries provided (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc...); laundry area with detergent and dryer sheets provided; and a full kitchen with all dishes, utensils, and pots and pans provided. We also provide coffee, tea, and hot cocoa K-cups for the Keurig machine. The family room has a loveseat, a reclining sofa and a flat screen Roku SMART TV with access to our Amazon Prime and Disney+ accounts. You are welcome to log in to your own screening accounts while you are here, (Netflix, Hulu, etc...) The basement temperature is controlled separately from the rest of the house, so it can be adjusted to your liking. We also have a large backyard with plenty of grass, a trampoline (put away in the winter months), and a playhouse. Kona, our large Silver Lab, loves humans and loves to play. She doesn't love other animals, however, so this is the main reason we do not allow pets. It would not be a quiet experience for anyone.

Private entrance to apartment. You'll have the entire basement to yourselves. (There are a couple of doors to storage areas that are kept locked.) The only space that is shared is the backyard. You will have an outdoor parking spot either on the street or driveway.

We have been hosts for about 6 years. Our apartment is booked nearly 100% of the time. Because of this, prompt check out at or before 11am is imperative so we have adequate time to clean and prepare for our next guests. For this reason also, it is very hard to accomodate early check ins. Remember, check in is anytime after 4! Please communicate with us if you need any special accomodations outside of those times, we'll do our best! Our home is in a great neighborhood with quiet peaceful neighbors. Full disclosure, one neighbor raises rare and exotic birds, the backyard has sounds of a beautiful rain forest! It's quite peaceful if you ask me.
We are centrally located to many amenities, which include a grocery store, a gas station, many fast-food places, locally owned and chains.
Our property is 1 mile away from the entrance of a scenic byway which is a beautiful drive. There are many biking trails located up this canyon, which include Forebay, Bennie Creek, Jones Ranch, Black Hawk. Visit www.Trailforks.com for more detailed area trail information. If you have further biking needs, there is a wonderful locally owned bike shop downtown. (Ride N Bikes 801-465-8881) There are also a few parks located up the canyon, where you can have cook outs, hike and play Frisbee golf. Also, lakes for fishing and other activities. (about 8-9 miles) There is also a closer public lake in Springlake 3.6 miles away which is great for fishing, walking, biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, and swimming. There is also a fish hatchery.
The I-15 freeway entrance is 1 mile away. Walmart is 2.7 miles and there many fast-food places which include, Chubbys Cafe, Taco Bell, Costa Vida, Cafe Rio, Popeyes, Don Chuey's, Crumble cookie, KFC, Menchies frozen yogurt, Sip N Spot, Fat Jacks Pizza (The best pizza), and many others.
The LDS Temple is 2.7 miles away. There is a nice 18-hole golf course (Gladstan) only 4.5 miles away nestled within the mountains, it is so beautiful!
We have a historic downtown, with small shops and activities. Many Hallmark and Lifetime type movies have been filmed here. There is also a local historic museum with different exhibits all the time, 1 block away. (Peteetneet Museum). We have a big beautiful city park, (Memorial Park) with nice basketball courts, very nice pickleball courts, and a shaded playland for kids, just a few blocks away.
Sundance Resort is 45 mins. Salt Lake City is 50 min away. Park City is 59 miles away.

Our cozy basement apartment has its own entry and convenient parking. No pets allowed. There is 1 bedroom with a quality pillow top queen bed,dresser and a portable AC. The living room has a full sofa bed & smart TV. The large kitchen has a full fridge, stovetop/oven and dining bar. We live upstairs and keep our basement apartment super clean. NO smoking or alcohol allowed on the premises. The ceiling is lower than standard approx. 6.5 ft. We share the laundry room so you may hear us.

Our professionally managed apartment is the perfect place for a single, couple or small family. Our basement is especially quiet with all the comforts you’ll need including a full kitchen with dishes and supplies. Please note the bathroom has a shower only. We are conveniently located very close to the I-15 freeway. The laundry room is shared by us and there is only a curtain to separate that space which is near the bathroom. There are locks on all the doors.

We are conveniently located very close to the I-15 freeway, Doterra and American Fork canyon with a stunning view of Mount Timpanogos. Our apartment does have a lower ceiling than normal at about 6.5’. There are no windows in the living room but there are some in the bedroom. There is a portable AC in the bedroom.I don’t allow coffee brewing as we live here and the smell fills the whole house and we have a sensitivity to it.

Our place is close to great views, restaurants and dining, supermarkets, and family-friendly activities. Less than 10 minutes from I-15 and Thanksgiving Point. Within 30 minutes away from downtown Salt Lake City, 40 minutes from the airport, and 20 minutes from Provo. Five major ski resorts all within a 50 minute drive or less. The Jordan River Trail is right outside the door, offering a great place for walking or bike riding. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.

The space
Comfortable and clean basement apartment with a full kitchen, full bathroom, and private entry. The space comes with a queen-sized bed as well as a queen sized sofa bed, plus one smaller couch that pull out into a bed for smaller children. Pack 'n Play crib is also available for babies. Kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, silverware, plates, bowls, etc. The space also comes equipped with a full ping-pong table and projector screen TV with cable! Family does live upstairs, so there is the usual living noises above during the day, but guaranteed quiet from 8 pm to 8 am each night.
