This unit does require going up a flight of stairs. The Unit is all one level. The unit is a spacious two bedroom unit within a larger building. It is located in the heart of the city and close to the main road, so it is likely to hear traffic, ambulance, and trains.

- "When we arrived there were dirty sheets for one bed and the trash was over flowing. I get it, things happen. We contacted management and there was someone there to clean the whole apartment within 20 minutes. (it may have been less time but we were on our way out for dinner) Then they followed up to make sure things were good. What started out looking not so great ended up wonderful. Thank you for your attentiveness and wonderful customer service."

The Hideout is a modern 1 bedroom apartment in the historic Tree Streets of Waynesboro. Guests can easily walk to downtown Waynesboro with its charming shops and local restaurants. The apartment is a short drive to access area vineyards, breweries and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The kitchen is largest room in The Hideout. Guests will have access to a stove, full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, tea kettle, and all common cooking utensils. Both paper and traditional dishes are provided. Enough coffee and tea supplies are included for short visits.

The cozy living room features a small couch that can be converted into a full bed, as well as a simple desk that includes a lamp and charging station for common mobile devices and tablets. A 50" Roku TV is mounted to the wall and paired with a Phillips soundbar. Two TV trays are tucked away near the couch.

The bathroom is small but tastefully designed. Towels, cotton balls, Qtips, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are all provided. A hair dryer is located within the vanity.

The bedroom is simple and modern. The bed is a queen with a firm mattress topped with 3" of memory foam, the perfect combination of stability and comfort. A side table features a lamp (with a USB charging port) and a fun vintage alarm clock.

The bedroom closet provides access to a room fan, an ironing board, an iron, extra towels, and a place to hang your clothes. There is a large standing mirror available.

A large backyard patio can be accessed by exiting The Hideout via the kitchen door and walking around the back of the house. The patio features an outdoor table with two chairs, as well as two chaise loungers. Guests can enjoy partial views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from this area.

Worth Noting:
To enter The Hideout, guests will need to walk down 16 steps to enter the space and travel up 16 steps to leave the space. Access to this apartment is not ideal for guests with mobility limitations.

The Hideout is a basement apartment, and there is a tenant that lives up above. This means guests may occasionally hear footsteps or other noise from upstairs. Though these noises are minimal, we provide a fan for white noise and disposable ear plugs for those who may be bothered.

This space comfortably sleeps 2, but it can technically sleep up to 4 thanks to the pull out sofa (which is a full size mattress).

The apartment offers a large spacious living room with a 55" smart TV (log into your own streaming services!), a dining room that seats up to 4, a fully stocked kitchen, and a stacked washer/dryer (apartment size) all on the main level.

Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Both Bedrooms host a queen bed (sheets and bedding are provided) and the larger of the two bedrooms has a 42" Smart TV, as well. Each bedroom is furnished with blackout curtains, to help those of you on shift work. The bathroom has a tiled shower/tub combo. It is not attached to either bedroom. We provide 6 body towels, 6 wash clothes, and 2 hand towels for use during your stay.

We also provide a starter kit of supplies upon your arrival, including:
-Hand Soap at each sink
-Dish soap
-1 Kitchen sponge
-1 Roll of Paper Towels

Hello everyone!

I’m not going to try to convince you to stay at this Airbnb but instead address the issues that guests have complained about in reviews. This listing is priced accurately and cheap because there isn’t much besides 2 king beds, bathroom, washer/dryer. There is a bit of noise from upstairs when people walk around but usually no later than 11 PM.

Please keep in mind when reviewing that you’re not paying very much to stay here. If you’re going to complain, please stay elsewhere.

The space
Full access to lower level and yard. Unfortunately, there’s no kitchen on the lower level and not much furniture, but I hope to have it fully furnished soon. Perfect if you’re looking for a private spot to relax and sleep for the night.

FYI: I’ve listed this as a 2 bedroom space because both rooms have beds. However, for the sake of not misleading my future guests, I’ve considered the main room as one of the bedrooms.

Check-in: 7pm
Check-out: 12pm
If you need an earlier check-in, let me know and we might be able to work it out. The reason it’s 7pm is so I have time to clean before each guest.

Heating is provided through three space heaters which adequately heat the entire space.

Please keep in mind that this is a finished basement and not a hotel. I’ve received a few negative ratings because there’s not much besides the two king beds and other essentials. Also, there is a potential of noise because I like to play music and the floor upstairs has some squeaky spots. We will try to be as quiet as we can after 11pm. Please keep these things in mind before reviewing my place! Thank you!

There is a potential for noise because the basement ceiling isn’t insulated. You may hear some squeaky foot steps, talking, and music. I love my music!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in downtown Waynesboro. Built in 1929, Castle Abgar has developed its own character over time, combining an eclectic art collection and a museum-like array of artifacts to present an interesting vibe. Two bedrooms (1 queen, 2 twins), can easily accommodate four. Private entrance, private bathroom with shower, no shared space with homeowner. 5min from Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive, 20min from Cville, 10 from downtown Staunton.

The space
The place has a spacious living room with couches and a stereo, as well as a TV with PS4. The sunroom has two twin beds, board games and kids toys. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, French doors for privacy, a TV and large display cabinets full of art and statues. While the piano in the living room can be played, the antique organ in the bedroom (circa 1891) cannot. The front porch is a nice place to kick back and watch the world go by. The neighborhood is friendly and we are friends with our neighbors.

Little country inn the city on Mimosa Farm is in the middle of the city on 9 acres with goats, a mini donkey, dogs and THE BEST mountain views. Nestled at the base of Afton mountain, you are just minutes from the 151 brewery trail. Host offers the option of adding transportation for a safe, worry free day.

The Inn will accommodate up to 7-8 people! Pets are accepted with $25 fee.

We will WAIVE the cleaning fee for stays that are 2 days or greater!

The space
The Inn has a cozy farmhouse feel with neutral grays and browns. Plenty of walking and outdoor area. The bathroom is vintage tiles with a separate steam shower and bathtub. The Inn is shared with the host but completely private. My goal is to provide as much interaction as you would like.

Guest access
The guests have access to the private 2 bedroom apartment, with a private bathroom, great room and kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a sink, microwave, refrigerator, and single induction cooktop. During the summer months and for as long as the weather stays nice access to the home’s inground pool is available as well.

Guests will also have access to a private gas grill, outdoor eating space and outdoor swing!

Other things to note
Please note that I do not charge a cleaning fee for 2+ night stays. Keep that in mind when comparing to other properties which may have a $10 less per night cost but a $50-100 cleaning fee.

I do charge a pet fee of $25 per night. This helps cover the cost of additional maintenance that pet wear and tear causes. I provide a pet bed, separate towel and some water and food bowls.
