The property has limited/spotty cell service.
Please check with your provider to confirm your service quality.
The cabin does have high-speed, fiber-optic WiFi for your use.

Winter Access:
The main road to the cabin is maintained year round, but the elevation means we get more snow locally than the surrounding areas.
All-wheel drive is always advisable and occasionally necessary during the winter months.

Your Furry Friends:
Dog are allowed, conditionally.
Need prior approval and agreement to our pet policy & pet fee (see below).

Wildlife:
More often than not, you won’t see a bit of wildlife besides birds and pond critters.
But we do have lots of wildlife around including fox, coyote, fishers, raccoons, and *** PORCUPINES**
We almost never see these creatures, especially up at the cabin, but downslope from us, in the woods, our camera traps log them routinely, and on a walk in the woods your dog could find one.

Thus on walks into the woods, dog owners are recommended to keep their dog on a leash and if there is a chance they will stray from you.

Critters:
We been complimented on our cleanliness and lack of bugs...

We run the tightest ship we can...

And, we’ve not had problems with mice in the house,,,
But,,,
We are in the woods. Over the course of your stay you may hear a squirrel on the roof, or a woodpecker exploring the cabin perimeter, or encounter a chatty curious Phoebe nesting nearby.

Insects are perpetually finding their way in in small numbers. We routinely vacuum such intruders away. This will be a non-issue for most guests. However, if bugs really disturb you, a cabin in the woods not be the best choice ; )


Not a Swimming Pond:
The pond is primarily for wildlife and ambience, not for swimming (by people or pets) and definitely not a fishing pond (only goldfish). But there is a little dingy to get out onto it.

- Check in after 3:30 PM & Check out before 10:30 AM
- Minimum age to rent: 22
- Children allowed: 0-17, however the cabin is not baby or child proofed
- No “events” allowed (parties)
- No excessive loud noise (yelling or music), especially after 10 (we have two neighbors within shouting distance)
- Smoking is not permitted, evidence of smoking will incur an additional cleaning fee.
- Pets are allowed with pre-approval only (see Pet Policy below) and agreement to Pet Policy rules
- No firearms (including BB guns & air rifles) or fireworks at any time
- Open fires/campfires are permitted only in the fire pit.
- Hunting and wood-cutting is not permitted on the property.
- ATVs are not permitted on the property.

Note: We have two surveillance cameras at the house (external/outside only). We often briefly verify arrival of our guests via one of these. If we determine you have more members of your party than disclosed we will charge a fee of up to $200.

Pet Policy:
- This property is dog-friendly (maximum 2 medium or ~100 combined lbs of dog).
- Dogs must be completely housebroken, well-behaved, and pest free.
- A $50 pet fee will be charged.
- Dogs must be kept in control at all times while outdoors.
- We are going for a “leave no trace” model of dog occupancy:
---- Guests are responsible for cleaning up and properly disposing of dog waste in the yard areas
---- Inside the cabin, dogs will not be left unattended unless crated
---- Dogs are not allowed on furniture nor on or in beds
---- No dog play inside cabin (i.e. throwing balls, chasing, jumping, scratching, skidding, etc.)
---- If pets have an accident in the cabin, all clean-ups will be performed by the Guests
---- Upon leaving, Guests agree to clean-up after their pets (fur/mud/dirt/other messes, basic supplies provided)
---- Guests agree that they will not use any house linens or towels on pets or pet clean-up; only those brought by Guests for their pets
---- If any pets are brought and the pet fee was not paid, there will be a $150 fee taken out of your deposit
---- Guests agree that failure to comply with clean-ups inside cabin or outside cabin will result in an additional cleaning charge of not less than $100
---- Guests agree to pay for any damages caused by pets

Our cabins are located in the heart of the Finger Lakes, in Yates County NY. The areas shop and restaurant owners are aware of Covid requirements while still providing a positive and safe experience for the vacationer. We have increased our cabin disinfection procedures and hope you’ll consider joining us to experience the beautiful scenery of this picturesque area for yourselves.

Now on to our cabin .

Newly renovated Adirondack style cabin nestled in the heart of the finger lakes. Situated on a lot with pines, woods and fields and a mile walking path right out the back door. Enjoy your coffee in the morning with deer, turkeys and a number of other wildlife species right off of the spacious covered porch.

The cabin has a queen size bed upstairs in the loft and a pull out futon suitable for one adult or two children downstairs, as well as a separate trundle bed with two twin size beds available. Please review photos of the living room, trundle and futon while its in the down sleeping position so you are familiar with all the sleeping arrangements. Also, please review the photos of the spiral staircase. Guests with limited mobility may find it harder to access the upstairs loft.

We went all in when renovating the bathroom including it’s beautiful shower. The living room has a cozy fireplace (electric) with large screen TV with local stations (also radio). There is no WiFi, cable or internet here but we may add it in the future. You don’t come to the beautiful countryside to stay in this off the path gem to watch TV and search the web. There’s just too much to do, be it hiking, fishing, wineries, antique shopping, you name it. Most cell phones will work at the cabin, depending on your provider and the weather but if you need a signal, one typically can get it on the road or a short distance down it.

The cabins’ driveway can comfortably hold two cars, three or four if you don’t mind backing out of the driveway. We have a grill for cooking steaks on the porch after a hard day enjoying the finger lakes or guest can cook inside with a fully functional kitchen with stove, refrigerator and microwave.

Branchport and Keuka Lake State Park is a 10 minute drive, as is Prattsburgh. Naples is 15 minutes away and Penn Yan about 20. All three have Dollar and general stores for buying groceries. Penn Yan is the biggest town, with a cinema and more choices than the other area towns. However, one can’t beat Joseph’s fruit stand in Naples for freshly cooked pies, cakes, and bread as well as awesome fruits and veggies, as well as Lynnie Lou’s ice cream but Penn Yan has buckwheat pan cakes, Indian Pines Farm market and two ice cream stores, Seneca Farms and Macs Dairy bar! Oh the choices!

This visitor friendly property is located in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, on the west side of Cayuga Lake. A rustic log cabin retreat with a luxurious interior, modern feel and a comfortable open floor plan. This is a great place to begin the Cayuga Wine Trail. The cabin has a well-equipped kitchen with all appliances and a dining area that seats six. The living room has a couch and love seat, 43” flat screen television, DVD player, cable TV and wi-fi.

Rates are inclusive of 4 guests. The fifth and sixth guests, regardless of age, are charged $20 per person per night.

There is a queen size pull-out couch in the living room that accommodates two more people. There is one bathroom with shower stall. Open year-round, the cabin has with radiant floor heating to warm you on chilly nights, as well as air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room to cool you on warm summer days.

Outside, the spacious porch provides additional under-roof space for socializing and relaxing. There is a picnic table and charcoal grill with grilling utensils for your outdoor enjoyment. Relax in front of wood camp fire in our fire pit area. Hiking opportunities abound.

Tour the wineries - the cabin is centrally located on the Cayuga Wine Trail, with the Seneca Lake Wine Trail a short drive away. Enjoy swimming, boating and fishing on Cayuga Lake. We are a five-minute drive from Deans Cove boat launch. Taughannock Falls State Park to the south and Seneca State Park to the north offer hiking trails, beach swimming, and boat launch

There are numerous golf courses in the area, and miles of bicycle paths at nearby Sampson State Park. Take a tour to see White Deer at the Seneca Army Depot , which supports the largest herd of white deer in the world behind 24 miles of protected fencing. Birding and guiding kayaking tours are at the Montezuma Audubon facility. Enjoy winter skiing and recreation at several area ski resorts – Bristol Mountain in Canandaigua (also has zip line tours) and Greek Peak (also operates a year-round indoor water park). Close by you’ll find numerous antique shops, concert venues and live music performances.

This sweet little house has an open floor plan with a sleeping loft and beautiful views looking southwest over Cayuga Lake. Decks on two sides of the house lead to a “flight” of four decks below the house. The kitchen has a small refrigerator, induction burners, small oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and lots of cooking utensils and dishware. The bathroom has a claw-foot tub. On the decks, a gas grill and plenty of chairs and picnic tables for relaxing and entertaining.

Ideal for two, but can sleep four to six: queen mattress in loft, fold-out sofa bed, couch, and camping out in tents on the decks under large shade trees or on the double mattress in the boat house.

Not handicapped accessible: 28 gentle stone steps from the road down to the house, 3 to 6 steps between the decks, steep stairs down to the dock, boat house, and pebble beach, and in the house, a library ladder up to the sleeping loft.

The only things I thought were not explained well is that the bed in loft is on the floor, but it was still semi-comfortable. This newly built property is located in the heart of the beautiful finger lakes region of upstate New York, on the west side of Cayuga Lake. A rustic log cabin retreat with a luxurious interior, modern feel and a comfortable open floor plan. This property is a great place to begin the Cayuga Wine Trail. The cabin has a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances, and a dining area that seats six. The living room has a couch and love seat, 43” flat screen television, DVD player, TV and WiFi.

Rates are inclusive of 4 guests. The fifth and sixth guests, regardless of age, are charged $20 per person per night.

We are a dog-friendly property! For a small fee, your dog(s) (maximum of 2) are welcome to stay with you. Please make sure to read the pet addendum. When booking the reservation, before clicking "book it", click in the box above the "book it" button and select yes for pets.

The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. There are two private bedrooms – each has a queen size bed, spacious armoire closet, large chest of drawers, and nightstand. While bright natural sunlight normally fills the bedroom, there are room darkening shades for a peaceful sleep. There is a queen size pull-out couch in the living room that accommodates two more people. There is one bathroom with shower. Open year-round, the cabin has with radiant floor heating to warm you on chilly nights, as well as air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room to cool you on warm summer days.

Outside, the spacious porch provides additional under-roof space for socializing and relaxing. There is a picnic table and charcoal grill with grilling utensils for your outdoor enjoyment. Relax before a wood fire in our fire pit area.

Tour the wineries - the cabin is centrally located on the Cayuga wine trail, with the Seneca Lake Wine Trail a short drive away. Enjoy swimming, boating and fishing on Cayuga Lake. We are a five-minute drive from Deans Cove Boat launch. Taughannock Falls State Park to the south and Seneca State Park to the north offer hiking trails, beach swimming, and boat launch.

There are numerous golf courses in the area, and miles of bicycle paths at nearby Sampson State Park. Visit the white deer at Deer Haven Park, which supports the largest herd of white deer in the world behind 24 miles of protected fencing. Enjoy winter skiing and recreation at several area ski resorts – Bristol Mountain in Canandaigua (also has zip line tours) and Greek Peak (also operates a year-round indoor water park). Close by you’ll find numerous antique shops and live music venues.

Set back from a quiet country road, you'll find a peaceful and private experience close to all the Finger Lakes offers - beautiful state parks, hiking, wineries, breweries, and many good restaurants. We are only 12 miles from Ithaca, 10 miles from Watkins Glen and 8 miles from Trumansburg!

The space:
Vintage decor and hand-plastered walls combine with brand-new furnishings and an open floor plan to provide a uniquely relaxing atmosphere. (The cottage was built in 2022. Please note, that the final exterior layer of plaster on the outside of the cottage is being completed this summer. This will not impact your stay whatsoever).

Walk to the cottage from the private driveway along a short 100' path. We provide a cart to make it easier for you to carry your luggage. There are two wide steps to climb which bring you to the large covered porch.

Outside, enjoy the porch with chairs, table, a double and a single hammock, new (in 2024) propane grill and fire pit with Adirondack chairs (wood is provided).

Upon entering the cottage, a small nook framed in repurposed local barn wood provides a bench and hooks to hang your coat and leave your shoes. To your left are stairs to the LOFT, complete with an all-natural mattress, bamboo pillows and cotton sheets. Two windows, an open-style railing, a view of the living room and high ceilings in the middle of the loft ensure a spacious and cozy feel. **Please note, the stairs to the loft are steeper than normal steps. We suggest using the railing.

Windows surround the LIVING ROOM, a couch and chaise lounge, invite you to relax. The wood stove provides a cozy atmosphere and plenty of warmth for winter renters. Fiber optic WIFI with a wireless router keeps you connected for streaming to your favorite shows or working remotely.
**Extra Bed: The couch can be used as a twin bed for sleeping upon request for linens.

The full KITCHEN has a refrigerator, freezer, gas stove, gas oven, tea kettle, pots, pans, cookware, silverware, dishes, toaster oven, dish towels, oil, basic spices, organic coffee, french press and organic tea (Note: there is no microwave and only hand towels - NOT paper towels - are provided).

Off the living space is a full BATHROOM, complete with a large tiled shower, sink, vanity, toilet and shelves to store your toiletries. A bath towel, hand towel and washcloth are provided for each guest. All natural hand and body soaps are also provided.

HEAT/AC: HEAT is provided by a large space heater or the wood stove. Guests should plan to use the stove if temps are below 20 degrees. Wood for the wood stove is provided. There is no AC in the cottage, although the 12-inch thick straw-and-plaster walls are built to naturally keep the temperature comfortable in both summer and winter, and all the windows are operable.

The GROUNDS and Property: The cottage is on the grounds of our farm, Wellspring Forest Farm, a small family-run agroforestry farm producing mushrooms, pastured lamb and maple syrup. In warmer months, the sheep occasionally graze near the cottage as they rotate through our 20 acres.

A short distance from the front of the cottage, there is a .8-mile NATURE TRAIL available all year round to cottage guests (seasonally, the trail can be very wet). The trail is used occasionally by guests of our other rental from May - October; "Secluded Cozy Yurt Finger Lakes, Grill & Fire Pit," ourselves and neighbors.

Farm tours are available by request for $40-$80/group and last about 60 minutes. Meet the sheep, see the mushrooms, taste the sap (depending on the season.)

Other things to note:
About straw bale construction: Straw bale buildings are earth-friendly and provide excellent insulation and the ability to moderate temperature, staying cooler in summer and toasty warm in winter. As in this cottage, straw bales are usually covered in multiple layers of earthen clay plaster, with each layer (from the inside out) getting smoother and more refined. Almost all the construction materials (straw, clay, sand, wood) in this cottage have been sourced locally, from within 80 miles. No plywood or pressure-treated wood was used in the construction. Strawbale buildings are known to create a very healthy environment because the clay literally purifies the ambient indoor air and humidity. The plastered walls, with their natural textures and velvet-like appearance, make for a calming and soft living space.

Conveniently located approx 10 minutes south CMAC, 12 minutes of beautiful downtown Canandaigua, 20 minutes from Naples and 30 minutes from the Seneca Lake or the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. Canandaigua provides tons of fabulous restaurants to choose from, several craft breweries, numerous weekend festivals and Finger Lakes Racino just north in Farmington. We do decorate seasonally for Fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas!

TINY 58, a THOW (tiny house on wheels) is 240 square feet of pure coziness. Located in Beaver Dams, NY, TINY 58 is centrally located between Watkins Glen, NY (~12 miles) and Corning, NY (~ 9 miles). Just off the beaten path (~Route 414), it is tucked in near our flower garden just behind our barn. Although TINY 58 is located on the same parcel as our main house, it enjoys a great deal of privacy. The views are of the countryside, woods, and big open sky (~great for star gazing).

TINY 58 was lovingly designed to provide a warm and welcoming space that spares no details. Being built in the spring of 2024, she still has her new build shine.

The bathroom boasts a unique off-grid incinerating toilet run by electricity. It also has a stand-up shower with rainfall shower head and handheld sprayer plus a petite bathroom sink.

The kitchen has all the essentials including a two-burner electric stove, microwave, farmhouse stainless steel sink, vintage apartment-sized fridge and freezer, and a countertop oven. There is a coffee station that has a Keurig and a gooseneck electric water kettle.

The living space includes a long dining table with two stools that look out the picture window onto the flower garden and barn. There is a comfortable couch and wall mounted TV in the living space that can extend so you can watch TV in bed. The bedroom has a full-sized bed, with memory foam mattress, luxurious bedding and bedside adjustable reading lights.

**The Wi-Fi is a point-to-point connection from our home, it can be slow. If you need fast internet, we are probably not the right fit.

There is a propane grill, grilling utensils and aluminum foil for your grilling needs.

Sit around the firepit at night, toast some marshmallows and enjoy the stars.

There is room to accommodate a car trailer/boat trailer on premise.

Other things to note:

1. The toilet is an incinerating toilet. Before each use, place a filter in the toilet. The instructions are on the wall.

2. All of the gray water (shower/sinks) collects in a vessel behind the tiny house. Please don’t put any food, etc. down the drains.

3. There is a garbage can inside, and there is a can outside to put full bags in. Please put recycling in the can outside as well.

4. Unless you have AT&T, you won’t get cell service. Hook up to our WIFI and you should be all set. Because our WIFI is a point-to-point connection, it can be slow.

5. The TV has Netflix and Hulu apps installed.

6. The water comes from our well, it has a distinct taste. I stock the fridge with water bottles and there is also a Brit-a water container in the fridge. The water coming into the tiny home gets hot but doesn’t get very cold.

Family size 14x16 (inside demensions) wall tent!! We have had many requests for family accommodations. This tent has a queen bed and twin day bed with trundle making it perfect for 4. The tent has a small frig for your snacks and beverages as well as a coffee station. There are no inside tent toilets. We have beautiful restrooms with showers a feet away from the glamps located in our Great Hall. There is a charming outdoor shower and bathroom. There is a spacious 8x14 covered porch with a wine barrel bistro and 4 chairs. This glamp also has a fire pit and private park style grill with grilling tools.

After a short walk you will find our Mercantile store, our Traveler’s trunk boutique and beautiful natural pool for swimming and relaxation. Every child 5 and under, or any non swimmer, must provide their own life jacket when in or around the pond. If any non swimmers are occupying the space without a life-jacket, they will be asked to leave the area.

The natural pool’s beauty and tranquility is complete with a lovely waterfall and our pet Koi! The Koi are always eagerly awaiting their koi treats from our guests. These treats can be purchased from our small Mercantile store along with horse treats, rabbit treats and bird treats. The mercantile also has snacks, local beverages and honey along with camp cooking supplies you may have forgotten. Our fun little travelers trunk boutique has some interesting finds from our travels as well as local homemade items!

There is a natural pool, swinging tree hammocks, children’s playground, bistro tables everywhere, coin op laundry mat with 2 washers and 2 dryers and plenty of farmland to explore! We border the lush and lovely Hammond Hill State forest. If you love cross country skiing, mountain biking and walks we border You have access to miles of state trails!! The barns and pastures are restricted from guests’ entrance. Scottland Yard community consists of several small clustered homesteads. Each Sunday is ‘Sunday funday’ BBQ at Scottland Yard from 2-8pm. Monday-Thursdays from 2-6 we have family swimming at Scottland Yard. Our guests often join us for this joyful time. If you happen to arrive or are enjoying the facilities during these hours, please know that you’re welcome to join us if you wish!

There are over 200 wineries in the Fingerlakes Region and many are within an hours drive. The closest one to us is Six Mile Creek Vineyard about 5 miles away. Visit waterfalls or state parks such as Buttermilk Falls, Taughannock, Robert H. Treman, Ithaca Falls.

There are fireworks (that can be heard) nearby at the neighbors homestead. Our July 4th weekend guests are invited to attend the neighborhood display. The display is not on our property. Our farm is located close enough that the fireworks are still loud. Dogs, fellow travelers, and/or children traveling with you may get frightened during the 15 minute display.

WiFi was available and fast by the common area; however, the signal did not reach our cabin. I would suggest bringing some boots, as recent rains made the grassy area very soft. Everyone staying at the property can enjoy our private beach, WiFi, and DirecTV. Stay cool on even the hottest days with air conditioning or cuddle up with our propane, electric, or wood stoves. (Varies by site.)

We provide all of the linens and bath towels you need for your stay, as well as paper products to get you started. (One dog allowed) The cabin is located inside Sunset on Seneca Campsites, 300 yards from Lodi State Park and Seneca Lake. Nestled in the Finger Lakes Region you'll find numerous wineries within a 5 minutes drive. Within the campground that is home to nearly 150 seasonal campsites you will find a friendly family oriented community welcoming guest. We provide one free bundle of firewood each night.

The space
The campground has facilities such as a coin operated laundry facility, and a shower/rest room. Inside the cabin there is a queen bed, a set of bunk beds, futon that is also used as a bed and a small refrigerator. This cabin is pet friendly for one dog under 40lbs. Please bring your bedding and cooking items as they are not provided for this cabin. Outside is a charcoal grill, picnic table, and fire ring. Bottled water is recommended.

The space
The house is unique not only because it's made from a repurposed insulated tractor trailer, but also because it utilizes many recycled and repurposed materials, such as the 1960's bamboo kitchen cabinets, recycled hardwood flooring and windows, and many antique elements.

There's plenty of nature to explore on the 160 acres of forest and stream, along with the farm’s free ranging chickens and fenced heritage turkeys. Gorgeous views of the Southern Tier’s undulating hills. Lovely 1.6 mile trail on the property, through the woods and along the creek!

If you wish to venture out, we're located 13 min to Horseheads, 17 min to box store shopping mecca in Big Flats, 35 min to Ithaca, 35 min to Watkins Glen, 25 min to Corning, 55 min to Hammondsport, and 17- 90 min to the many wineries and breweries in the Finger Lakes. Also, 35 - 60 min to spectacular waterfalls and gorges in the many State Parks.

Guest access
The GuestHouse building and grounds are for you only. Feel free to walk the farm areas (not the barn please - too messy), the dirt road we're on, and the woods and/or woodland trails. My A-frame house and the 1939 log cabin on the property are our private residences.

Other things to note
PETS are welcome with an additional $25 fee. They are not allowed on the furniture and must always be supervised. If you have to leave them alone, they should be in a crate you bring, your car, or be 100% trustworthy to be calmly alone. If they are used to being on the furniture and you feel it would be difficult to keep them off, please bring coverings to protect the furniture.
You must also please make sure your dogs don't bother the free ranging chickens across the road !!!

We have four one room rustic log cabins overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake in Hector. All 4 cabins share a bathhouse with separate men's and ladies' facility. The cabin pictured has one double and one twin bed and a stove and fridge. Our larger cabin (not pictured) sleeps up to five people and has two double beds and one twin, dresser, table & chairs, a fridge and a two burner unit for cooking, coffee pot, microwave, and also seating on the porches.

The space
When visiting the Seneca Lake area of the Finger Lakes region, nature lovers, race enthusiasts, wine and beer lovers, and vacationers alike will discover authentic charm in one of a kind log cabins. Originally built in the 1920's for early visitors, the Rustic Log Cabins are one of the oldest lodging establishments in the area.

All four of our cabins have a great farmers porch on which to relax and enjoy your favorite local wine or beer and watch gorgeous sunsets over Seneca Lake. Afterwards sit by your own fire pit and enjoy a quiet and starry evening - a feature of cabin life that our guests tell us brings them back year after year. The cabins are situated on three beautiful park-like acres with plenty of room for games of all kinds. The view from the grounds takes in an apple orchard, rolling vineyards and Seneca Lake - a perfect setting for a small wedding or reunion if you rent all four cabins.

Built of whole pine logs all four are spacious one-room cabins with electricity, hardwood floors and stone fireplaces. The cabins are equipped with table, chairs, comfortable beds, dressers, stove and fridge. Two of the cabins will accommodate three persons and the other two will accommodate up to 6 people. A Bath House in the center of the campsite is convenient to all four cabins and contains a separate mens and women section with showers, toilets and sinks. Guests are encouraged to provide their own towels and bed linens to avoid per bed linen fee.

The Rustic Log Cabins are located on the east side of Seneca Lake on Route 414 in the town of Hector. We are central to the Finger Lakes National Forest, wineries & breweries, Watkins Glen State Park and also the towns of Corning, Geneva, Ithaca, Seneca Falls and Hammondsport NY.

We are open May through October.

Creekside Getaway is the perfect cabin to unwind and disconnect with the comforts of home. This 34-acre property ample recreational outdoor space, including two (2) fishing ponds, hiking trails and an outdoor fire pit. The interior features a washer/dryer combination unit, a full kitchen and a cozy woodstove in the living room.

Approximately 15-minutes from Naples (Canandaigua Lake) and 20-minutes from Hammondsport (Keuka Lake).

The space
This is a cabin in the woods, with a creek that borders the rear and more than 20 acres of hiking bliss. **Trails are for hiking only, not ATVs or other off-road vehicles.**

This cabin is meant to be a relaxing getaway from the stresses of life, not a party house. If you are looking for a place to party, do not rent our cabin.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire living space and the garage. The only area where access is restricted is the basement.

Other things to note
The water on the property comes from a well and does have a distinct sulfur smell. The water is safe for bathing and cooking, but I would recommend bring drinking water.

Also note, the property is private, however, the cabin stands approximately 20’ feet from a dirt road. Traffic can be frequent, including vehicles, ATVs, bicycles, etc.

Tea light candles are not permitted. Guests in the past have caused damage due to improper use. If damage is caused during your stay, you will be responsible.

The space
Cozy country cottage on main road. Screened in front porch to sit on and enjoy the woods without the bugs. We have high-speed internet/ wifi , and roku tv. Also there is a shared pond for your enjoyment that is right across the street. The downstairs is spacious with a 4 burner electric stove top, microwave, toaster oven, regular toaster, keriug, & french press. There are 2 sofas with recliners and the one has the gas fireplace right in front of it.

Wildlife in the area. We ask our guests not to leave garbage or food outside, this does attract the wildlife.

Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway, or even traveling for work and need somewhere for an extended stay. Our cabin is the perfect place for you! There is one more cabin on the property occupied by our tenant who is very quiet and always respectful of your stay.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. These cabins were hand-built by my husband David, who was a very talented carpenter who put extra special touches into each cabin. The cabins sit in peaceful wooded areas on our 35 acres in Erin which is centrally located to many of the exciting places around us, such as Watkins Glen which has the breathing gorge and Seneca lake surrounded by wineries. For children, there is the Animal Farm Land zoo, which is 15 minutes away from us.

The space
When you arrive at my location , you will be surrounded by the beauty of nature and able to retreat into a peaceful camping experience. While staying in one of my cozy, comfortable cabins.

Guest access
While staying at my cabins, you will have the freedom to come and view my beautiful flower gardens. Many of our guests love to sit and read a book or just adore nature.
My large front porch is also a great place to relax while visiting.
As there are no showers at the cabins, I allow our guests to use my front guest bathroom for showers during their stay. I open the front door from 9a.m. until. 8p.m. Guests have free access all day.

Other things to note
It is very important to realize that this is more of a camping experience you will be having once you arrive at my cabins. The cabins have no indoor bathrooms, and each cabin comes with a portable sanitary outhouse. There is no running water inside the cabins. Each cabin has a spring water cooler that will give you both hot and cold water.
I allow my guest to use my front guest bathroom for showers during their stay. My doors open from 9a.m. until 8p.m. guest are free to enter all day. My home is just a short walk through the woods from the cabins.
All firewood and charcoal are supplied free to our guests. The cabins are fully stocked with bedding, towels , soaps, paper supplies, dishes, and much more. I try to make you as comfortable as possible.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place in the heart of the finger lakes region. This cabin is located in the woods and has a view of the woods. It is located 1/2 mile From Robert Treman State Park, and access to 3 other state parks within a 10 minute drive. It is also located 1/2 mile from the Finger Lakes Trail. You are also only minutes away from the finger lakes wine country. There are approximately 30 wineries within a 35 minute drive.

The space
This cottage has a great room area for the living room and kitchen area. There is a single pull out couch in the living room. The unit has a separate bedroom and bathroom. It has a nice sized deck on the rear of the unit facing the woods.

Guest access
You will have full access to the complete unit with parking right in front of the Cottage.

Other things to note
This unit has everything except your linens, You will need to bring sheets, pillows, blankets and towels with you.

The space
The perfect home base for whatever your adventure might be. The cabin's split floor plan, high ceilings, and loft area make this space seem larger than life!

Enjoy the common area boasting a dining area, living space and kitchen. Seating for four at the table will make for a comfortable space to eat or snack, while the futon in the living space is plush and comfy. In the kitchen, cooking for yourself or reheating leftovers is no problem, as all basic cooking items are included. Please note there is no oven, but equipt with a two burner cooktop. Propane grill available for use.

The bedrooms feature built in beds, with a queen in the master, and a full in the second bedroom. If you need extra sleeping space or just a place to hang out, the loft features a comfy couch/fouton, and the fouton in the living area is also available.

Wifi and a smart TV for your streaming and entertainment.

Outside you'll find a deck adorned with a picnic table, with seating for six and two rocking chairs to relax with the view.

The whole house and lawn area, with the exception of the shed.

Other things to note
The property has well water that is treated on a regular basis. At times , some cloudiness, or a little rustiness may occur. Some prefer to bring bottled water although drinking water is provided in the refrigerator. This property has an adjacent cabin, great for larger groups or multiple couples.

The space
Our fully renovated cabin features an open floor plan kitchen/living/dining room with serene views, a wood burning fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The large deck with outdoor dining area is ideal for BBQ's and relaxing. Enjoy the private pond, fire pit and nature on our wooded property!

The amenities include – high speed Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, Roku with Netflix, soundbar, board games, books, gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, brand new furnishings and more. Enjoy the peaceful seclusion of nature, with all the comforts of home.

Chickadee Cabin is located just a few miles from the small town of Honeoye with a grocery, bank, gas station, restaurants, etc.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire cabin and outside areas. There is a fire pit and hammock in the woods, as well as a small pond on property with a dock and pedal boat (seasonally).

The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and has some basic food items. We kindly ask that you replace as you use.

Other things to note
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY: During the winter months, our property has the potential to become a winter wonderland! Although serene and a great time to cozy up by the fireplace, guests may experience difficulty getting up the driveway. We do plow but highly recommend an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle. Some guests may need to park at the bottom of the driveway and walk. Pack your snow boots for some winter fun!
