Cooking facilities are here and fully equipped.Landscaping provides privacy for all parties (owner next door) There is a combination of the comfort of home and roughing it. The Spa Bathroom/Sauna is like having to visit an outhouse but warm when you get there. On your way there you may see some wildlife or a spectacular starry sky. Our parking allows for trailers; snowmobile or boat with 2 launches within 5 min. One into Morrison Lake the other into the Trent Severn . Reay Lake is a lovely, quiet small non-motorized lake. It is perfect for relaxing lakeside without the worry or noise of motor boats and jet skis! Enjoy lakeside views, perennial garden views, nightly sunsets, private swim deck with 2 chaise lounges to relax, and your own fire pit for cozy evenings.
We are less than a two hour drive from the GTA . Gravenhurst is known as the gateway to Muskoka!

The Loft:
Upstairs
In this two level loft suite, upstairs you'll find a large open concept living/sleeping area complete with comfy beds (one queen bed and two twin beds). Bedding is provided. The living room has a sofa and chairs, DVD player & movies, Bluetooth speakers, satellite TV, electric fireplace, and a desk.

Downstairs
On the main level you'll find a new eat in kitchen and a 3 piece bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with a new refrigerator, convection/air fryer/toaster oven, induction cooktop stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, blender, dining table and chairs, and a BBQ outside. (Please note although we offer many cooking options in the kitchen, it does not have a traditional oven).
We have a state of the art water filtration system and the water is fully drinkable right from the tap. Bath towels are provided.
The Muskoka area is prone to power outages, but this property has a generator, which means you won't be left in the dark!!

The Lake & outdoor areas:
This small tranquil Lake is spring fed and offers wonderful swimming and fishing. Paddle or leisurely float around the lake. We have a small deck at waters edge with a couple of lounge chairs to relax. Swimming is off to the side of the deck and we have a floating raft you are welcome to enjoy.
On the way down to the Lake is the fire pit area. There is a small deck with chairs to enjoy a cozy evening by the fire. Firewood and kindling provided.

The Area
We are approximately a10 minute drive to Gravenhurst, 15 mins to Bracebridge, 35 mins to Bala and 45 minutes to Port Carling.

Enjoy all that Muskoka has to offer; swimming, boating , hiking, biking, fishing, nearby golf courses, farmers markets & festivals great dining, shopping, historic sightseeing boat cruises at the Muskoka Wharf, The Gravenhurst Opera House, Santa's Village, ice cream shops, local winery, and local breweries. The only Muskoka Drive-In movie theatre is just a 5 minute drive down the road!

Some important things to note:
While we do offer complimentary WIFI, we are in a rural area and internet and cellular service can be slow and/ or inconsistent. Good time to relax, unplug and enjoy nature!

Owners live in adjacent house on the property - if you forgot/need anything please just ask!

We recently renovated the space above and behind our two car garage to create our cozy Lakeside Loft.

Loft Rental includes use of "party island", swimming noodles and life jackets. There are 2 kayaks also available to use .
This a quiet lake with year round residents & we ask that you please respect our neighbours. If you are looking for a place to have loud parties , this is not your place.

Guests must adhere to the current outdoor fire regulations in the area

Beautifully landscaped, nestled in a quiet bay with deep water off the dock, stunning lake views and a level lot close to the water make this the ideal family cottage.

The Space:
Sunnyside Up is a lovely family cottage on Lake Muskoka, surrounded by beautiful grounds that provides glorious all-day sun and amazing views! The cottage is located close to the shore and offers amazing lake views. It also boasts a fire pit which is perfect for roasting marshmallows or staying warm on a cool summer night. There are lovely landscaped gardens and a level, grassy lawn, great for kids to run and play. A walkway brings you towards the waterfront, which comes equipped with a spacious dock for boat parking, and offers great swimming conditions with deep water off the end of the dock and 104 Feet of Lake Muskoka shoreline. Ample parking for renters.

The Neighborhood:
Conveniently located for day trips to Gravenhurst, Bala, Port Carling or Bracebridge by boat or car for farmers markets, LCBO, grocery store, restaurants, shopping, and golf. Kids will love the free weekly Tuesday evening waterski show and adults can be entertained with concerts at the Kee to Bala. For running or hiking enthusiasts the surrounding cottage roads provide a safe, shady 1-hour loop and it is only a 10 min drive to the beautiful Hardy Lake Provincial Park hiking trails. When you get back, take a swim in the quiet bay or go for a kayak adventure on the lake. Area is also great for paddle boarding (not provided) and fishing.

OFF-GRID EXPERIENCE
The Glamphouse is purposefully designed to disconnect, as follows:

No electricity or WIFI - there are battery-operated and solar-powered lights to illuminate the cabin both indoors and outdoors. We suggest turning your phone off and leveraging this time to ‘disconnect to reconnect’. If you would like to charge your phone, we suggest bringing a power pack or using your vehicle.

No running water - Water jugs are provided and replenished, with additional water accessible from the town supply tap, a short 5-minute drive away at the wharf. While there is no shower facility, an elegant outhouse with a composting toilet is located in a separate outhouse building. Daily use directions are provided in the outhouse.

No heating or cooling - We suggest you bring weather appropriate clothing and warmer clothes for cooler nights as there is no Heating or Air-Conditioning.

This is Muskoka and there are bugs (peak is mid-June to mid-August). Even with a screened in Gazebo bugs are present. Please come prepared.

Please be respectful of our neighbours. Sound carries and while the site is private there are neighbouring properties through the trees. Parties are not permitted at Glamphouse and only the guests registered on the booking and approved ahead of time are allowed at the site.

TAKE CARE -We kindly request that you treat our cherished cabin and personal belongings with respect. Countless hours and meticulous attention have been invested in creating a warm and welcoming environment, making it a deeply personal space that we aspire to share with our valued guests for years to come.

Do NOT litter at the property, please pickup after yourselves. Guests will be asked to take garbage/recycling with them upon checkout to minimize the risk of wildlife activity.

Guests will have access to parking in front of the cabin for easy loading and unloading bags etc. The outdoor fireplace directly beside Woodwind Cabin. You will also have your own large deck, lawn and 2 hammocks to relax and hang out. The small community beach is a 10 second walk down our private road, with two swimming docks. The beach is very sandy with an easy sloping entry.There is also government docks and Marina, for fishing and boat launching (parking as well). The main house is not for guest use.

Other things to note
I discourage guests from bringing disposable plastic water bottles here. No need to bring bottled water to the cabin. It's the best you have ever tasted! Please respect the well, (the main house uses the same well) and be conservative with short showers and water consumption in general.

Please keep all fires small. No smoking in the cabin.

Guests can access the whole house and property. There is parking for up to 3 cars. We have another cottage 150 feet away on the same lot, mostly rented, sometimes for personal use. NO DAY GUESTS ALLOWED (i.e friends coming over for a BBQ, fishing, parties, etc).

Other things to note
Small and medium size dogs are welcome, exceptions can be made for larger dogs. If you wish to bring your furry friends, please let us know!

Please take your garbage and recycling with you. The city limits how many bins of garbage we can throw out, therefore we are unable to discard everyone's garbage and will be left with a backlog of trash.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Reay Lake is conveniently located just 10 minutes to Gravenhurst. This 700 Sq ft cabin is situated on an acre and a half property for ultimate privacy. There is an access point for kayaks provided just 90 meters from the driveway.

The space
This is an old cottage that has been updated, and although has some quirks, I can assure you, you won't beat the tranquility! The surroundings are so quite and peaceful and if you are looking for a few days away this is the spot for you!
The lake access for the kayaks is 90 meters from the end of the driveway, it is a little inlet, you may want to bring water shoes, it isn't glamorous but does the trick!
Some lakes close by with beaches are Bass Lake, there are two, one is in Orillia. The one you want is on Loft Rd, it has a little beach and a good swimming area. It is usually quite, the most I have seen there is another group or two. Another great spot just 15 minutes away is Annie Williams park in Bracebridge, it is along the muskoka River.
I also really enjoy Gull Lake Park in Gravenhurst. Reach out if you need more recommendations, I know the area quite well 😊

Nestled in the woods of Muskoka, Timber Nook is a timber-framed loft cabin, offering a peaceful retreat. Your stay begins with a 175m uphill hike along a marked trail. For those who need it, transportation can be arranged. Cabin is 450 sq. ft, loft bedroom with a queen-size bed, accessible by a ladder with handrails, living area with a sofa, armchair, and pellet stove, full kitchen and dining area, and 3-piece bath. Snowmobile Trails are accessible by Lake Muskoka or short ride by road.

The space
The cabin is located a short walk up hill on Muskoka granite. If I'm available or pre arranged I am able to get your party and supples up to the Cabin. You are more then welcome to access the cabin with your own snowmobile.

This is our family cottage, containing everything you need for a lakefront vacation. Silver lake is a short 15 minute drive from Gravenhurst and the cottage has abut a 150 feet of shoreline. It is private, with great and quiet neighbours.

The space
You enter the cottage through a beautiful cedar screened Muskoka room with a dining table and chairs and a couple of nice chairs for reading. The cottage is on two levels, with LR, Kitchen, Dining Area (with a large drop leaf table and seating for 8), bathroom and 2 BRs on the main floor. One BR has twin beds that can be made up as a king and has a walkout. The other BR is small with a double bed. Brand new bathroom with a combination tub and shower.
On the lower level accessed by a lovely spiral staircase are two more bedrooms and a half bath. These bedrooms are spacious with fabulous lake views, 1 with a king bed, the other a double. The master (king bed) has a walkout. There is also a bunkie on the property with 2 single beds.
There are 2 kayaks and a canoe. The swimming is fabulous off the dock with deep water access. There are chairs and a table on the dock. A beautiful cedar deck runs across the front of the cottage that is a great safe contained space for kids. There is a propane BBQ on the side deck.The kitchen is new and very well-equipped lots of counter space, quartz counter tops, new appliances and a dishwasher. Also a great espresso machine for the coffee connoisseurs. There is both a washer and a dryer.

Other things to note
Not ideal for toddlers, a path leads from the cottage to the waterfront and has no handrail. Circular staircase in living room difficult to gate.

- There is a spot on the water to park your boat right at the cottage. Marina is located in 5-6 minutes away.

Ready for a little adventure with all the comforts of home ? This true north log home plus bunkie has everything you need for your stay. Secluded but close to town it is the perfect romantic getaway or holiday with the kids with sunsets off the dock on Taylor Island Lake Muskoka. You have exclusive use of a 14 ft aluminum boat with new 3.5hp mercury four stroke engine to get back and forth to your car, go fishing or tour the area by boat.

The space
The cottage has two separate sleeping cabins on a large property with 200 ft of waterfront. It is located on Taylor island a 15 min drive from Gravenhurst. It is only accessible by water. The property has a steep slope with about 25 stairs from the water to the cabin. The main cabin (500sq ft ) has a bedroom living room , kitchen , bathroom , laundry area. The bunkie( 100sqft ) further up the hill from the cabin has a wellness studio including spin bike, TRX, and free weights below and king size bedroom above that is accessible by drop down ladder. There is a large flagstone patio next to the main cabin with a propane Bbq and outdoor fireplace. The six person hot tub is on a private deck steps away facing the water and pine trees. Our cottage is on Taylor island and is one of many on the island. We provide a aluminum fishing boat with a new 3.5 hp motor. It takes about 10 min to get to the marina by boat where you can park your car.

Guest access
Access the island in 10 minutes by our aluminum boat (included) with a new 3.5hp outboard or the local marina will pick you up and drop you off in one of their boats. One round trip by the marina is included with your stay.

Other things to note
There are two separate living spaces. The cozy true north log cabin 500sqft with full kitchen , bathroom and bedroom plus Vermont castings wood stove. There is seasoned wood provided around the back of the cottage and a bunkie further up the hill (100sqft ) situated in the trees with meditation area , gym and king size sleeping area upstairs. The bedroom in the bunkie is only accessible by drop down ladder and there is no washroom in the bunki. Guests have exclusive access to the aluminum fishing boat and new 3.5hp outboard motor . If you are not an experienced boater and don’t know how to operate a stern drive engine ( no steering wheel and pull start) the Marina will gladly shuttle you back and forth to the mainland by covered boat for a nominal fee. Please do not try to learn how to drive the boat during you stay small outboards even new ones can stall and flood and can put you in a potentially dangerous situation. The boat is 14 ft and is suitable fir use in protected areas of the lake. Lake Muskoka is a large lake and can get windy. Please do not go into the open parts of the lake. One round trip by the marina(or myself) to the cottage and back is included with your stay. Please note there are other cottages on the island it is not a private island but the property is private.

The main pine panelled 6 guest cottage with it's picture windows boasts comfort and convenience. Family style dining table, breakfast bar and LR sectional in an open concept setting allows family and friends to enjoy quality time together. Huge master bedroom/ bathroom ensuite with a bay window, lake view and sliding door access to the deck - one of three bedrooms. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room keep fresh air moving on summer nights. Dining room/kitchen has lake view windows, a sliding door. to the deck with outdoor furniture, a propane bbq, stairs leading to the yard, volleyball net, pvt sand beach, kid's space, small dock and shallow water access- ankle depth to 4 1/2 ' max. Ours is a clean, spring fed land locked lake up to 60' deep in some areas. Eight properties on our private road make up our respectful cottage community. We invite you to bring water craft that can be ‘beach docked’ and please supply your own life jackets.

The space
THE COTTAGE AND BUNKIE:
The cottage has 2000 square ft of interior and exterior space across 2 buildings to enjoy. The main cottage is entirely open plan with propane fireplace, high ceilings, chef's kitchen and a wall of windows facing the lake. The modern 2-bedroom 1 bathroom bunkie is situated close to the main cottage and has it's own deck . The setup is ideal for 2-3 families or an extended family.

The large kitchen connects to an outdoor kitchen overlooking the lake. It has a Wolf stove and Kitchenaid appliances with a double fridge for entertaining. The outdoor kitchen is directly off the interior kitchen and has a large Napoleon bbq with a side bbq featuring infrared extra high heating and an island with bar stools. The large deck has seating for 19 and is fully gated making it ideal for young families and pets.

THE DOCK:
The dock area is fully enclosed with a large covered sofa facing the lake for long lazy afternoons by the water. There is deep water off the dock and a sandy shallow area to the side for small children. The water at the end of the dock is 10 ft deep and has a granite bottom. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddling and fishing on this quiet lake. Or jump off the dock into deep water for a refreshing swim.

THE ENVIRONMENT:
The cottage is situated on a private gravel road which also functions as a beautiful, safe walking trail right at your doorstep. There is a natural kids play area with sandbox and tree stumps.

All interior and deck amenities at the cottage are for your private use. Outside amenities such as the sandy beach, floating and stationary docks, watercraft, 3 fire pits, playground and the beach volleyball court are shared with other guests.

Other things to note
RULES TO AGREE UPON ONCE RENTING THE COTTAGE:

1. It is a family resort cottage so please remain respectful to your neighbours and our next door property neighbours.

2. Please respect the noise bylaws and keep noise/music levels at a minimum past 10PM and take your party inside.

3. There is NO evening or night Swimming.

4. All pets are to be on a leash while on resort grounds and poop and scoop after your pet is in full effect at the property.

5. No smoking inside the cottage or Shared Resort Grounds such as the docks, beach, play area, etc,.
Smoking is permitted ONLY on your cottage outdoor deck (please do not leave the butts on the ground)

6. Please note all water sports, toys and activities are to be used at your own risk. There will be various lifejackets to use, however, it is MANDATORY that anyone who uses the watercraft must wear a lifejacket. It is encouraged to bring your own to guarantee a lifejacket will fit.

7. If the outside patio furniture or chairs are moved throughout the day, please put everything back where they belong by the end of the day. This is to ensure that none of the furniture is picked up by the water current or changes in active weather.

8. If any cigarette butts are found on property grounds from any smoking materials, a $250 fee will be charged to guests for the cleanup.

9. Please make sure to register your furry pets as there is an extra $75 charge for pet stays.

10. Please report any damages as soon as they occur.

11. We do not have laundry services onsite. There is a Laundromat in Gravenhurst should a guest need to do an emergency load.

12. Please note that our property does not allow boom box speakers outside of your cottage as we want all our guests and neighbours to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful nature which surrounds our resort.
