The staff did their best and were quite pleasant, but it was not very convenient and no compensation was offered. The place certainly had some redeeming features but it is not your typical lake side cottage experience because it is a working marina and therefore not particularly quiet or relaxed."

Welcome to Blue Bliss! Our little piece of heaven on Lake Muskoka! Our cottage is located just 1.5 hours from Toronto between Gravenhurst and Bala...very close to everything the Muskoka Lakes region has to offer. The main cottage is classic Muskoka on flat, easy access property with ample parking. The cottage has tons of natural light and charm, two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining table that seats 8 and a comfortable living room with excellent Wifi and large TV to stream movies. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and there is a coffee station with Nespresso coffee maker. The main deck off the cottage has magnificent views with comfortable large sectional, a dining table for 8, and BBQ with propane. The fire pit is set up with Muskoka chairs next to the cottage with firewood provided. The boathouse is just a few steps away from the main cottage via a deck walkway and a few stairs down and features two bedrooms and a lovely waterfront deck with Muskoka chairs and space for yoga. The boathouse has a Keurig coffee maker for easy access to your morning brew. The boathouse also has a separate Wifi network and fold-up table to provide the option of a private office. There is also a door separating each room in the boathouse and each room has its own entrance door from the upper deck for added privacy. The water level of the boathouse has two kayaks, two paddle boards, a tandem paddle board, life jackets and a swimming raft. You can also rent a boat from one of the nearby marinas for your stay. The cottage is located just minutes from all the great Muskoka shops and restaurants. Take an afternoon or dinner cruise on one of the Muskoka steamships from Gravenhurst Wharf. Great golf and hiking nearby. Cottage and boathouse are winterized and cozy. All bed linens and towels provided. We are looking for responsible, non-smoking renters who want to enjoy some quality time in Muskoka. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets (sorry, owner has allergies).

- "We stayed a week at this cottage with my two adult children and their partners. The cottage was well-stocked with linens, towels, beach towels and every imaginable cooking utensil or dish. It was spotlessly clean and well-maintained with a great outdoor area and fire pit with muskoka chairs. Everyone relaxed and there was enough room for everyone to spend some alone time. The area is great for walking as the cottage is on a road that is not very busy. The owners thought of everything including some spices, coffee, tea, and even a s'mores kit! With kayaks, paddle boards and our own boat, there was no room for boredom. Even our fishermen were happy with their catches. We had fun, and the one rain day, we played one of the provided board games. John and Carolyn take wonderful care of this cottage and are very responsive if you need anything. This classic cottage is a great place for a couple's retreat, honeymoon, girls' weekend or a family vacation where memories are made. Everything was easy from a check in process, Amy and Derek were quite communicative and made sure we had easy entry. It was quite odd to go through a security gate to access this cottage. The cottage is located in a marina between it and a restaurant. So if you're looking for a quiet peaceful getaway. Fair warning. on that regard. The cottage is lacking any plates, cups, cooking pans etc. They did ask if we wanted any, but it was unclear as to what it was for. At that point it felt odd asking for it. But again, fair warning if you're going there and looking to have glasses, or standard kitchen materials, you'll have to request or bring your own. There is no smart TV - bring your own HDMI to connect your computer or other media to their TV if you want to watch anything that's not on a personal screen All in all it's a good spot if you're going to be in the area and need a place to sleep."

Welcome to Muskoka Escape. A private 3 cottage 9 bedroom family compound only 1.5 hours north of Toronto on pristine Pine Lake in Muskoka.

AREA
Located only 15 minutes from the town of Gravenhurst where you have all the conveniences of grocery stores, restaurants, Muskoka Wharf, LCBO, The Bakery, beer store and local shopping. Only 30-40 minutes away is Bala and Port Carling.

PROPERTY
Muskoka Escape is located on Pine Lake part 2 which is the less densely populated part of the lake. Pine Lake 1 is more populated and can be accessed via boat. Pine Lake 3 to the west is surrounded by all crown land and is accessible via boat as well. Muskoka Escape faces northeast with amazing sunrises. It faces undeveloped land to the north and is surrounded by acres of crown land.

A few steps to the waterfront from each cottage, you'll find 6 comfortable zero gravity chairs, 1 large umbrella, 2 paddle boats, 3 kayaks, 2 canoes, 2 SUP's and a 20'x6' swimming mat are all included. Water depth is 10+ feet off the dock and an easy-to-use dock ladder. Boat rentals can be arranged.

From the parking lot, there is a shallow ramp that leads to a large shared deck with bench seating that overlooks Pine lake.

The lower patio features a bench, 8 Muskoka chairs surrounding a large fire pit for evening s'mores (firewood included). An official size outdoor ping pong table for hours of enjoyment.

COTTAGE INFORMATION
All 3 cottages have all been renovated including new kitchens with stainless steel appliances, new living room and bedroom furniture. Each cottage is well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen including quartz countertops, water coolers, dining and living room, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, and HD satellite TV. The cottages are only a few steps away from the beautiful and quiet waters of Pine lake but separated from each other offering privacy when needed. Each cottage is outfitted with many board games, puzzles, and playing cards. All the cottages are protected with an automatic backup generator to ensure your vacation isn't interrupted.

COTTAGE #1
The oldest and most rustic of the 3, this cottage has vaulted ceilings and 3 bedrooms (queen, double, twin bunk) and has recently been renovated with a new kitchen with a stainless steel fridge & oven. Each bedroom has ceiling fans for your comfort and new large windows. The screened-in porch is where you can enjoy your morning coffee on new comfy chairs and couches.

COTTAGE #2
Located beside cottage 1, there are 3 bedrooms (queen, double, Double/Twin bunk), HD satellite Smart 55" TV, and a fully stocked kitchen with all stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher). There is a sliding glass door to the deck that faces the lake with 4 Muskoka chairs, a wood stove on those cooler evenings, and ceiling fans in each bedroom. This cottage also has a washer/dryer. There are 2 BBQ's available (Weber and Napolean & propane included).

COTTAGE #3
Located a little down and away from cottage 2, this traditional Muskoka cottage has 3 bedrooms (queen, double, twin & twin bunk), vaulted ceilings, HD 50" Smart satellite TV, an open concept kitchen, dining and living area with a spectacular view up the lake. Having your coffee while watching the sunrise is truly magnificent. The fully stocked kitchen with all stainless steel appliances has all the essentials. A new Napolean BBQ (propane included) is located on the side deck. Off the master bedroom is an attached deck with water lake views and 2 Muskoka chairs where you can enjoy the fresh air and listen to nature at its best.

There is parking for up to 6 cars.

AVAILABILITY
The cottages are available for rent from May to late October. This property is ideal for family reunions. There are plenty of outdoor living spaces for relaxing or coming together for family meals.

Groups wishing to host bachelor parties or guy's weekends need not apply. Renters must be at least 30 years of age and older.

Weekly rentals only during July and August.

A wonderful lakeside cottage with far reaching, southwest views and total privacy on Muldrew Lake in the Muskoka region of Ontario.

Four key features to look for in a Muskoka cottage rental (hint: we offer all four!):

1/ Exposure - Southwest exposures offering full sun right to sunset and fewer bugs (as the southwest prevailing winds blow them off the dock).

2/ Location - many cottage renters hide the fact that their cottage is located on an un-assumed, pot-holed road, many kilometres from the nearest town. A cottage on a town-maintained, paved road, that is close to town offers ultimate convenience.

3/ Vista - a cottage with sweeping vistas, especially from on high, can be a glorious way to enjoy Muskoka Lakes.

4/ Privacy - Experienced cottagers know that a rental scenario is best enjoyed when you don't have tiny cottage lots with noisy neighbours all jammed together in a congested area, where guests are forced to listen to each others conversations and music.

This wonderful Muskoka property, located on pristine Muldrew Lake, (5 minutes from Gravenhurst, in the heart of Muskoka), offers a unique blend of nature, vistas, location, an ideal exposure, comfort and privacy.

For the 2 most popular summer months, July & August, our rental weeks run from Saturday 3 pm until the following Saturday at noon. (Sometimes we vary from that plan to accommodate our guests.).

Our cottage is a cozy 4-bedroom family cottage is decorated with cottage appeal. The dining room, living room and kitchen are together with two exits to Muskoka and our front and back decks. There are four bedrooms, two of which have two single beds (singles can be moved together into one king sized bed), one bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a bunk bed. Our lot is unusually large (3 acres!) with 600 feet of frontage (joined by a 66 foot right of way). This offers extraordinary privacy from the neighbours on both sides.

The deck overlooks Muldrew Lake and, with perfect southwest exposure, our spectacular sunsets can best be enjoyed from the dock. Our deck includes a brand new BBQ and a patio suite for outside dining. There are a couple of kayaks and a small rowboat, popular with those who like to fish. Fish in the lake include mostly small-mouthed bass, pan fish (sunfish and rock bass), catfish and the elusive pike.

Come and enjoy our spacious 20 x 10 dock. The exposure is southwest so you get full sun all day long and the sun sets from the dock are amazing.

The lot is reasonably level (for Muskoka) and there is a spot for evening bon fires and a marshmallow roast, should you be so inclined. You might want to cook up a feast for the family in the well-equipped kitchen before dining al fresco on the lake side deck or take a leap off the jumping rocks, situated a short swim from our dock.

In the summer, the lake is very much enjoyed by boaters on the weekends, and on Sunday night as the rush to get back to the city begins, a peaceful hush descends on the lake and the wildlife really comes out.

We're In Muskoka's Heartland!

There is a shallow, gently-sloped sandy area for the little ones and deep water off the main dock. Have fun on the water with our canoe or kayaks (with paddles). There's plenty of room to park your boat on the 8 x 20 foot floating dock, if you are planning on bringing or renting a boat.

Please note that in the high season, which runs from the last week of June until the end of August, we require a one week minimum rental period.

- "We stayed at Ted’s cottage the week of June 18th. We had 4 adults and a 2 year old with us. The cottage is cute and Cozy. The beds were cozy, and the cottage was filled with all the essentials. The outside screen in gazebo was wonderful for hot evenings, to be outside but have an area to be protected from the bugs. The lake was beautiful, we spent a lot of time on the dock. Ted had lots of items to enjoy the lake with, floating pad, kayaks, noddles etc. Up at the cottage Ted had a plastic pool we were able to fill up and use for our little one. There’s lots of cliffs, and steep drop offs, so close eyes are needed for young ones. The cottage is very close to gravenhurst which was great for heading into town to pick something up. We had a wonderful relaxing time."

This stunning cottage on Lake Muskoka has everything you need for your escape to Muskoka. The property includes a large upscale Cottage and Bunkie apartment, all recently renovated. It sleeps 16 in the spring, summer, fall. In the winter we close the water to the Bunkie, which sleeps six, although Bunkie heat and electricity will be on for you in the winter. The cottage features an open concept first floor living and dining area, fully-equipped chef's kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, a second spacious living room with a large flatscreen TV and streaming apps, a games area, toys, and loads of space for entertaining. It also features two master bedrooms, each with king bed, plenty of luxury quality linens to keep you warm, and modern furnishings. In addition, you'll be minutes from all of Gravenhurst's restaurants, shops, farmer's market, boardwalk, and tourist attractions. We just added a cornhole game for outdoor fun.

WORK FROM THE COTTAGE: Guests have had their most productive days here as we offer the highest speed Internet package. Work privately at two dedicated desks or at three large tables, all with great lighting for work.

This is the perfect cottage for children. The family designed it for them and we include toys, life-sized dolls and children's sun chairs.

- "Our family had a wonderful stay at Muskoka Lakeshore Cottage Bliss. We loved it has 2 bedrooms with king size beds to accommodate my parents and ourselves. Overall the main house has 5 bedrooms (2 king) and the other full/queen. Plus there is a very spacious bunkie with 4 additional beds. The screened in porch is great and allowed us to be in the fresh air even when the weather wasnt great and not have bugs all over us. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay - we cooked and bbq'd most meals. The dock is great with loungers and space to dock a boat. There is a swimming platform which is fun. There is a marina within a 5 minute walk that has a small convenience store. The bonfire pit was great for cottage family evenings. We look forward to booking again!"
