The place certainly had some redeeming features but it is not your typical lake side cottage experience because it is a working marina and therefore not particularly quiet or relaxed."

Welcome to Blue Bliss! Our little piece of heaven on Lake Muskoka! Our cottage is located just 1.5 hours from Toronto between Gravenhurst and Bala...very close to everything the Muskoka Lakes region has to offer. The main cottage is classic Muskoka on flat, easy access property with ample parking. The cottage has tons of natural light and charm, two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining table that seats 8 and a comfortable living room with excellent Wifi and large TV to stream movies. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and there is a coffee station with Nespresso coffee maker. The main deck off the cottage has magnificent views with comfortable large sectional, a dining table for 8, and BBQ with propane. The fire pit is set up with Muskoka chairs next to the cottage with firewood provided. The boathouse is just a few steps away from the main cottage via a deck walkway and a few stairs down and features two bedrooms and a lovely waterfront deck with Muskoka chairs and space for yoga. The boathouse has a Keurig coffee maker for easy access to your morning brew. The boathouse also has a separate Wifi network and fold-up table to provide the option of a private office. There is also a door separating each room in the boathouse and each room has its own entrance door from the upper deck for added privacy. The water level of the boathouse has two kayaks, two paddle boards, a tandem paddle board, life jackets and a swimming raft. You can also rent a boat from one of the nearby marinas for your stay. The cottage is located just minutes from all the great Muskoka shops and restaurants. Take an afternoon or dinner cruise on one of the Muskoka steamships from Gravenhurst Wharf. Great golf and hiking nearby. Cottage and boathouse are winterized and cozy. All bed linens and towels provided. We are looking for responsible, non-smoking renters who want to enjoy some quality time in Muskoka. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets (sorry, owner has allergies).

- "We stayed a week at this cottage with my two adult children and their partners. The cottage was well-stocked with linens, towels, beach towels and every imaginable cooking utensil or dish. It was spotlessly clean and well-maintained with a great outdoor area and fire pit with muskoka chairs. Everyone relaxed and there was enough room for everyone to spend some alone time. The area is great for walking as the cottage is on a road that is not very busy. The owners thought of everything including some spices, coffee, tea, and even a s'mores kit! With kayaks, paddle boards and our own boat, there was no room for boredom. Even our fishermen were happy with their catches. We had fun, and the one rain day, we played one of the provided board games. John and Carolyn take wonderful care of this cottage and are very responsive if you need anything. This classic cottage is a great place for a couple's retreat, honeymoon, girls' weekend or a family vacation where memories are made. Everything was easy from a check in process, Amy and Derek were quite communicative and made sure we had easy entry. It was quite odd to go through a security gate to access this cottage. The cottage is located in a marina between it and a restaurant. So if you're looking for a quiet peaceful getaway. Fair warning. on that regard. The cottage is lacking any plates, cups, cooking pans etc. They did ask if we wanted any, but it was unclear as to what it was for. At that point it felt odd asking for it. But again, fair warning if you're going there and looking to have glasses, or standard kitchen materials, you'll have to request or bring your own. There is no smart TV - bring your own HDMI to connect your computer or other media to their TV if you want to watch anything that's not on a personal screen All in all it's a good spot if you're going to be in the area and need a place to sleep."

Welcome to Muskoka Escape. A private 3 cottage 9 bedroom family compound only 1.5 hours north of Toronto on pristine Pine Lake in Muskoka.

AREA
Located only 15 minutes from the town of Gravenhurst where you have all the conveniences of grocery stores, restaurants, Muskoka Wharf, LCBO, The Bakery, beer store and local shopping. Only 30-40 minutes away is Bala and Port Carling.

PROPERTY
Muskoka Escape is located on Pine Lake part 2 which is the less densely populated part of the lake. Pine Lake 1 is more populated and can be accessed via boat. Pine Lake 3 to the west is surrounded by all crown land and is accessible via boat as well. Muskoka Escape faces northeast with amazing sunrises. It faces undeveloped land to the north and is surrounded by acres of crown land.

A few steps to the waterfront from each cottage, you'll find 6 comfortable zero gravity chairs, 1 large umbrella, 2 paddle boats, 3 kayaks, 2 canoes, 2 SUP's and a 20'x6' swimming mat are all included. Water depth is 10+ feet off the dock and an easy-to-use dock ladder. Boat rentals can be arranged.

From the parking lot, there is a shallow ramp that leads to a large shared deck with bench seating that overlooks Pine lake.

The lower patio features a bench, 8 Muskoka chairs surrounding a large fire pit for evening s'mores (firewood included). An official size outdoor ping pong table for hours of enjoyment.

COTTAGE INFORMATION
All 3 cottages have all been renovated including new kitchens with stainless steel appliances, new living room and bedroom furniture. Each cottage is well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen including quartz countertops, water coolers, dining and living room, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, and HD satellite TV. The cottages are only a few steps away from the beautiful and quiet waters of Pine lake but separated from each other offering privacy when needed. Each cottage is outfitted with many board games, puzzles, and playing cards. All the cottages are protected with an automatic backup generator to ensure your vacation isn't interrupted.

COTTAGE #1
The oldest and most rustic of the 3, this cottage has vaulted ceilings and 3 bedrooms (queen, double, twin bunk) and has recently been renovated with a new kitchen with a stainless steel fridge & oven. Each bedroom has ceiling fans for your comfort and new large windows. The screened-in porch is where you can enjoy your morning coffee on new comfy chairs and couches.

COTTAGE #2
Located beside cottage 1, there are 3 bedrooms (queen, double, Double/Twin bunk), HD satellite Smart 55" TV, and a fully stocked kitchen with all stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher). There is a sliding glass door to the deck that faces the lake with 4 Muskoka chairs, a wood stove on those cooler evenings, and ceiling fans in each bedroom. This cottage also has a washer/dryer. There are 2 BBQ's available (Weber and Napolean & propane included).

COTTAGE #3
Located a little down and away from cottage 2, this traditional Muskoka cottage has 3 bedrooms (queen, double, twin & twin bunk), vaulted ceilings, HD 50" Smart satellite TV, an open concept kitchen, dining and living area with a spectacular view up the lake. Having your coffee while watching the sunrise is truly magnificent. The fully stocked kitchen with all stainless steel appliances has all the essentials. A new Napolean BBQ (propane included) is located on the side deck. Off the master bedroom is an attached deck with water lake views and 2 Muskoka chairs where you can enjoy the fresh air and listen to nature at its best.

There is parking for up to 6 cars.

AVAILABILITY
The cottages are available for rent from May to late October. This property is ideal for family reunions. There are plenty of outdoor living spaces for relaxing or coming together for family meals.

Groups wishing to host bachelor parties or guy's weekends need not apply. Renters must be at least 30 years of age and older.

Weekly rentals only during July and August.

A wonderful lakeside cottage with far reaching, southwest views and total privacy on Muldrew Lake in the Muskoka region of Ontario.

1/ Exposure - Southwest exposures offering full sun right to sunset and fewer bugs (as the southwest prevailing winds blow them off the dock).

2/ Location - many cottage renters hide the fact that their cottage is located on an un-assumed, pot-holed road, many kilometres from the nearest town. A cottage on a town-maintained, paved road, that is close to town offers ultimate convenience.

3/ Vista - a cottage with sweeping vistas, especially from on high, can be a glorious way to enjoy Muskoka Lakes.

4/ Privacy - Experienced cottagers know that a rental scenario is best enjoyed when you don't have tiny cottage lots with noisy neighbours all jammed together in a congested area, where guests are forced to listen to each others conversations and music.

This wonderful Muskoka property, located on pristine Muldrew Lake, (5 minutes from Gravenhurst, in the heart of Muskoka), offers a unique blend of nature, vistas, location, an ideal exposure, comfort and privacy.

For the 2 most popular summer months, July & August, our rental weeks run from Saturday 3 pm until the following Saturday at noon. (Sometimes we vary from that plan to accommodate our guests.).

Our cottage is a cozy 4-bedroom family cottage is decorated with cottage appeal. The dining room, living room and kitchen are together with two exits to Muskoka and our front and back decks. There are four bedrooms, two of which have two single beds (singles can be moved together into one king sized bed), one bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a bunk bed. Our lot is unusually large (3 acres!) with 600 feet of frontage (joined by a 66 foot right of way). This offers extraordinary privacy from the neighbours on both sides.

The deck overlooks Muldrew Lake and, with perfect southwest exposure, our spectacular sunsets can best be enjoyed from the dock. Our deck includes a brand new BBQ and a patio suite for outside dining. There are a couple of kayaks and a small rowboat, popular with those who like to fish. Fish in the lake include mostly small-mouthed bass, pan fish (sunfish and rock bass), catfish and the elusive pike.

Come and enjoy our spacious 20 x 10 dock. The exposure is southwest so you get full sun all day long and the sun sets from the dock are amazing.

The lot is reasonably level (for Muskoka) and there is a spot for evening bon fires and a marshmallow roast, should you be so inclined. You might want to cook up a feast for the family in the well-equipped kitchen before dining al fresco on the lake side deck or take a leap off the jumping rocks, situated a short swim from our dock.

In the summer, the lake is very much enjoyed by boaters on the weekends, and on Sunday night as the rush to get back to the city begins, a peaceful hush descends on the lake and the wildlife really comes out.

We're In Muskoka's Heartland!

There is a shallow, gently-sloped sandy area for the little ones and deep water off the main dock. Have fun on the water with our canoe or kayaks (with paddles). There's plenty of room to park your boat on the 8 x 20 foot floating dock, if you are planning on bringing or renting a boat.

Please note that in the high season, which runs from the last week of June until the end of August, we require a one week minimum rental period.

- "We stayed at Ted’s cottage the week of June 18th. We had 4 adults and a 2 year old with us. The cottage is cute and Cozy. The beds were cozy, and the cottage was filled with all the essentials. The outside screen in gazebo was wonderful for hot evenings, to be outside but have an area to be protected from the bugs. The lake was beautiful, we spent a lot of time on the dock. Ted had lots of items to enjoy the lake with, floating pad, kayaks, noddles etc. Up at the cottage Ted had a plastic pool we were able to fill up and use for our little one. There’s lots of cliffs, and steep drop offs, so close eyes are needed for young ones. The cottage is very close to gravenhurst which was great for heading into town to pick something up. We had a wonderful relaxing time."

It sleeps 16 in the spring, summer, fall. In the winter we close the water to the Bunkie, which sleeps six, although Bunkie heat and electricity will be on for you in the winter. The cottage features an open concept first floor living and dining area, fully-equipped chef's kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, a second spacious living room with a large flatscreen TV and streaming apps, a games area, toys, and loads of space for entertaining. The screened in porch is great and allowed us to be in the fresh air even when the weather wasnt great and not have bugs all over us. At Sawdust City Sands there is a fully equipped kitchen if you would like to make your own meals, a gas barbecue to do some outdoor cooking, the boathouse restaurant at Taboo Resort is just steps away, or a 5 minute car ride brings you everything from fast food to fancy dining. Bring your family and explore. The cottage is set up for a family. Room for 6 or two couples the twin beds that can be pushed together if you want a second double bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with black out curtains so you wake up when you are ready, or have a nap in darkness. A large soaker tub where you can definitely unwind, and not to worry there is a second bathroom so you don't need to fear being interrupted. Spend some time on the trails, minutes to the Taboo golf course or grab a ticket for a tour around Lake Muskoka on the famous steamships. In the summer just float on the water or in the winter bring your sled and jump on the trails. Lots to do and not too far away. Algonquin park is an hour away if you want to do day trips. Music at the local theatre and in season amazing bands at Bala, or 30 minuets from Casino Rama if you want to catch a show.

Physical condition is already damaged at bottom, which made me unsafe to use. We decided to use pan and gas to cook but pan is scratched a lot and in bad condition which I feel it will have health safety concerns. We also tried to reach out the management but there was no one in charge at the office. We finally decided to eat pizza instead. In sum, the cooking part ruined the plan we had. Other than that, the fire wood was told it can be grabbed at #12 but there has no any wood in the cabin. Unfortunately, I really feel there are a lot of problems for you guys to improve. "

The cabin needs a complete renovation and maintenance...and shouldn't be put in the market. Bad supply of cookware and silverware. water crafts were in bad shape...one canoe actually leaks and I had to race back with my son in the canoe scouping water out at the same time! Not enough paddles, etc...Lucky your caretaker (despite we had to use google translator to communicate), she did a good job trying to accommodating our needs, which made up the bad part of our trip."

Other things to note
RULES TO AGREE UPON ONCE RENTING THE COTTAGE:

1. It is a family resort cottage so please remain respectful to your neighbours and our next door property neighbours.

2. Please respect the noise bylaws and keep noise/music levels at a minimum past 10PM and take your party inside.

3. There is NO evening or night Swimming.

4. All pets are to be on a leash while on resort grounds and poop and scoop after your pet is in full effect at the property.

5. No smoking inside the cottage or Shared Resort Grounds such as the docks, beach, play area, etc,.
Smoking is permitted ONLY on your cottage outdoor deck (please do not leave the butts on the ground)

The Duck Lodge is a 2 bedroom unit on the lower level of the Lodge building with all of the luxuries of home. It has 1.5 bathrooms to wash up after a day on the water, a well-equipped kitchen to whip up a great breakfast and a living area with room for a movie night in.

Please note that Duck is located within a 4 unit lodge building and is on the ground floor, as a result there is more noise transfer than with stand alone cottages.

RULES TO AGREE UPON ONCE RENTING THE COTTAGE:

1. It is a family resort cottage so please remain respectful to your neighbours and our next door property neighbours.

2. Please respect the noise bylaws and keep noise/music levels at a minimum past 10PM and take your party inside.

3. There is NO evening or night Swimming.

4. All pets are to be on a leash while on resort grounds and poop and scoop after your pet is in full effect at the property.

5. No smoking inside the cottage or Shared Resort Grounds such as the docks, beach, play area, etc,.
Smoking is permitted ONLY on your cottage outdoor deck (please do not leave the butts on the ground)

Welcome to The Severn! This gorgeous open concept, newly renovated, 3-bedroom cottage is the perfect summer or winter getaway equipped with everything you need. Enjoy the beautiful river views from the living room, side deck or dock with gazebo. Entertain in the grand living space with gas fireplace, open-concept kitchen and 6 person dining table. During the day, enjoy watching the kids swim from the beach or enjoy the kayaks & canoe! 5 mins to Washago & 10 mins to Casino Rama.

The space
The Severn riverside cottage offers beautiful views of Iron Bridge and Severn River from the living room, kitchen and outside deck/dock. The Severn has 3 large bedrooms, a large primary bedroom on the lower level with ample closet space and privacy. Two other bedrooms and washroom located on main level with large open concept living, dining and kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen (toaster, stove/oven, spices, oil, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, fridge). The dining table seats 6 guests comfortable + 2 at island and is a great place to enjoy a meal or a game of cards in front of the fire.

Outdoors you can enjoy the views of Severn River while relaxing on the large deck or dock by the water with a gazebo for dining. We also offer kayaks, canoe & paddleboat. The Severn is located on a private lane-way off of Highway 11 southbound in a quiet community with neighbours on both sides.

Guests will have full access to our riverview cottage, laundry, three car parking, BBQ (with new burners), outdoor and indoor games, large lot with extra large fire-pit, canoe, kayaks, paddle boat, wifi, satellite TV with 60" flat screen and HDMI connection, dishwasher, microwave, stove, toaster, linens, life jackets, bedding, gas fireplace x 2, patio table and chairs, deck with awning, dock with gazebo.

Other things to note
Should guests choose to enjoy the available water toys, boats or snowmobiles guests will be responsible for their well being, and the well being of others when on the water. The guests understand that the host will accept no personal liability for those using the available water toys/boats.

Note: The Severn 7 cottages in from the highway and therefore you may hear subtle cars passing if outside on the dock.

The road can be a little tricky to find, we will send detailed description with images if you like.

The water source is from the river and has been tested safe for drinking water. It is up to you if you want to bring additional water bottles.

The house is on a septic system, so please be careful to not put grease or anything like that down the drain, and only flush toilet paper in the toilet.

Parking at the Cottage 158 is limited to 2 vehicles on site.

Hot water is tank is limited capacity therefore long hot showers is not advised. A reset button in the kitchen sink area will indicate when water is being heated automatically.

Vertical Patio Door Blinds Operation
When using the patio door to enter and exit, please ensure blinds are fully open from the entrance doorway. This is to ensure that the tie strings connected to the bottom of the blinds are not damaged.

There is Hi- Speed wifi at the cottage 24/7 and at the Welcome Center during staff hours.

The host will provide a password when checked in.

With respect to young families and active retirees, quiet times for guests and consideration are from 10 pm - 9 am

Full day sun, elevated south exposure 2 bedroom contemporary (cozy 550sq ft) cottage with ample wrap around decking and an adjacent cabin with bunk bed. Pet friendly 3 bedroom waterfront cottage on quiet Sunny Lake in Muskoka. This 1200sq ft cottage is a cozy retreat ideal for a family, 10 Minutes to Gravenhurst and Bracebridge, 90 minutes from the GTA. Built in 1965 and reno’d in 2017 with an addition added in 2023. This cottage has a well equipped kitchen and modern comforts while still keeping some vintage elements.

This classic cottage is a great place for a couple's retreat, honeymoon, girls' weekend or a family vacation where memories are made. This cottage sits on a property that offers spectacular amazing views of beautiful lake Muskoka and Marina view from every room it has. A great place to relax and unwind.

The space
The property is a chalet style cottage has been custom designed by a group of guests for guests. A few unique amenities guests have requested and we offer include:

It has 2 big bedrooms and 3 beds on the second floor( one room is queen bed, another room is two single bed) main floor is kitchen, dining room and a living room. It has a back yard facing the lake for you to relax and enjoy the nature beauty of Muskoka.

There are a lot of walking trails and hiking place around this area.

The main bathroom has been fully updated with a new shower. Bedrooms are outfitted with fresh linens and offer a cozy cottage feel, with a mix of queen, double, twin beds.

Step outside to a brand new back deck with modern patio furniture and a new propane BBQ. The spacious yard leads to a private dock and fire pit area by the lake. Guests have access to a canoe, kayak, and other water toys.

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS:
There are noise monitors installed in the property at the back deck patio area. The noise monitors do NOT record conversations. It only monitors audio level on the property. Noise complaints resulting from guests violating the excessive noise bylaws will be fined $1500.

There is also an outdoor security camera at the front of the property.

GARBAGE:
Guests can use the animal proof bin at the front of the cottage near the main door. At the end of the stay, guests are required to take their garbage with them upon departure. There's a waste disposal site called Beiers Road Landfill Site that's only a 15-minute drive away, and on-route to the GTA. Failure to do so will result in a charge of $100 per bag.

WATER SAFETY:
- This is a waterfront property, so guests are responsible for ensuring water safety. Children should always be supervised as the water can be deep.

- The hottub may not be suitable for those with certain health risks such as high blood pressure, heart conditions and skin sensitivity. Please enjoy the hottub at your own risk and ensure to follow the instructions provided.

Guest can use kayaks, Hydrobike or any other water equipment at their own risk.

SEPTIC SYSTEM:
The property uses a fragile septic tank system. Please DO NOT flush anything other than small amounts of toilet papers. If it's determined that a septic tank failure was caused by guest negligence, a charge of $1500 will be applied for the repairs of the system.

ACCESSIBILITY:
Please note that there are various paths that will require stair climbing and or navigating on uneven grounds. This may present a challenge for individuals with mobility issue.

Kick back in this waterfront cheery three bedroom cottage with modern comforts in Muskoka. Easy road access, wifi, bright main living room/dining room, screened in porch, and large gated deck make this riverside retreat an ideal spot for small groups or families, no parties. Bonus fun: sauna, kayaks, canoe. Paddle to Bass Lake in one direction or Lake Kahshe in the other. 18 min. to Gravenhurst, 2 min. drive to a small beach.

Guests must be a minimum age of 25 to book, you may be asked to provide valid ID.
Parties are not allowed, the neighbors are relatively close and we want to be respectful of them.

We can sometimes accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs when requested 48 hours in advance through airbnb messages.

Larger logs provided, but bring some dry wood/kindling and lighter to start fires for sauna and firepit.
