Hector's food caravan (a literal hop, skip, and a jump away) is open to serve you the best local fish and chips on Friday and Saturday nights so you can simply put your feet up! North canterbury is abound with splendid wineries should you wish to venture a little further. Otherwise, Leithfield Beach boasts its own tennis courts, paddling pool for the kids, and playground. It is also a popular 4WD spot. Or simply meander along the beach with its many driftwood and pebble treasures. Amberley is just a five-minute drive and hosts some good eateries. You'll find all the necessary essentials here. But once you arrive at the cotttage, you probably won't want to leave! It's magic just staying put.

The property includes internal access double garage for ease of access. The kitchen is equipped with an air fryer and coffee machine plus the normal kitchen equipment.

The space
The main bedroom has a very comfy king ned. The second bedroom has a very comfy king single bed. There is a heat pump in the loving room tomprovide year round comfort.

The house is set up for 3 people but I can add a single bed into the main bedroom or lounge if required.

The water is filtered and is very good, just like spring water.

Straight off highway 1, brings you to our newly refurbished place where you can put your feet up and relax. Centrally located to tour, you can enjoy walks around the region, enjoy the weka pass railway and some of the local wineries around Waipara. You may just enjoy a lovely drive to Waikari where you may stop for a great coffee and bite to eat on the way to take a dip at the hot pools an hour away at Hamner Springs. We have many beaches along the way into Christchurch 5 to 20 minutes away, from rocky to sandy shores. We are perfectly located for local pubs, cafes and eateries and don't forget our local Saturday Market with crafts and fresh locally sourced produce. Your stay is warm, clean and comfortable and you can enjoy a coffee and a good book, sit back with a DVD, or enjoy a wine and games.

Cottage deck ideal for relaxing & time with family or friends. Open plan living, large sliding door, plenty of 'off road parking' & easily accessible, well set back from small gravel road. 'Parkley Cottage' is fully furnished, linen provided & has Septic tank drainage. Approx 12kms from Amberley providing access to Supermarkets, Cafes etc, 30mins to Rangiora & also many nearby Vineyards. You'll need to bring your own food & drink, Pets are not preferred due to Stock Numbers on Rural Property.

Amberley is a 50 minute drive north of Christchurch. airport Our cottage is located on a lifestyle block. We grow hazelnuts and have lifestyle animals on farm.You will be enjoying the peace and quiet of a farm setting.

We have an a separate cottage with two bedrooms, laundry, open plan living with kitchen and dining setup. Access to under cover parking for one car. There is a heat pump to keep you cozy in winter and cool in the summer.

We are surrounded by nature and amazing skies.

The space
This cottage sits on a lifestyle block in a rural setting. But we are 10 mins (drive) outside of Amberley. There are many wineries in the area with lovely settings and cafe's. We have lots of spectacular morning and night skies (with little light pollution).

Guest access
You will have full access to the cottage and all rooms. There is undercover parking coverage next to the house. We can provide you some guidance on access to the hazelnut orchard and rest of farm.
