We had dinner on one of the nights at Forage restaurant which was out of this world and is highly recommended. Their 2 course menu for R254 is fantastic value for the whole dining experience. You can only drink Wildekrans wines at the restaurant so a good tip is to go for wine tasting before lunch or dinner and purchase yourself a bottle as the restaurant does not charge corkage on their own wines. Breakfasts were also very good. You can taste all Wildekrans wines at the tasting room either on the relaxing front verandah, the front lawn or inside by the fire. The wine tasting room also has a restaurant which does great pizzas and waterblommetjie stew. All of this is within easy walking distance of the cottages. There are also good wineries in the area worth visiting such as Paul Cluver, Beaumont, Luddite, Goedvertrouw and Gabrielskloof. In town, Manny's restaurant serves fantastic prawns and Portuguese chicken and The Shuntin Shed is also a good dining options or place for a drink. Highly recommended."

Was pouring with rain the day we stayed- upstairs bedroom had a leak in the roof so ended up using the rubbish bucket plus a dish towel to try to alleviate the problem. - "There is only one very small sign suspended in a tree giving directions to the farm. No-one answered any of the three numbers available and we were left outside the main gate waiting for about 30 min to be checked in. The man who eventually came to the gate was very unprofessional and grumpy. They were very quick to take their money off my credit card. The venue is not romantic as it is attached to the main house. We could hear all their door slamming and ablutions!!! There is no wine tasting, so I do not know how we were to savour their wines. The mountain biking and walking was not available. There are no clearly marked trails. You cannot walk on the farm as there are fences and gates dividing it. And all the dogs!! The tv did not work; there was no card in the decoder; and the free Wi-Fi was not available. There is no mention of a dirt road on their site. The big bath was a tiny corner bath in a very big bathroom!! The private plunge pool for the romantic suite is in front of the main house!. Just because you put up a mosquito net, it does not make it a romantic suite. We checked out a day early and had to toss the keys through the main gate, which was again locked and the phones were not answered. We had to leave an sms, which was answered within 2mins!!! They did not even ask why we were leaving early. The farm is in need some serious tlc."

- "Ideal for two couples. Everything about the apartment worked for us: sufficient space, very comfortable, all the facilities we needed, nicely furnished, everything worked, bright, airy, a great upstairs patio area for outside dining/relaxing, with a super view of Lion's Head, good secure parking. There is a communal pool for the block of apartments. Two of the six sunbeds disappeared during our stay and the condition of the pool was variable, however a nice place on a hot day to cool off if okay and not busy. The main coast street in Camps Bay is a short drive or 15/20 minute walk away. Plenty of parking. The beach is fabulous. so many cafes and restaurants to choose from; Mantra and Hussar Grill we would highly recommend. Further afield, Chefs Warehouse at Tintswalo is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to, has to be booked months in advance! Another was Belly of the Beast in Cape Town. We used Uber taxis all the time for going out in the evening, so good, so efficient, so safe we felt. There's a great Deli for essentials (and great coffee/pastries) just 5 mins drive away. Overall, Vicky's apartment is a perfect base in order to enjoy everything on offer in the Cape Town/Camps Bay area."

- "This house was perfect for us - family of four with two teens. It was very comfortable - every amenity was provided and it’s close to restaurants and the Cape Quarter stores. Street parking is no problem. Thank you!" - "This is a fantastic home in a great area of Cape Town, adjacent to plenty of street parking, a lovely shopping center with an amazing SPAR grocery store just around the corner. The home itself is beautiful and incredibly clean--not a speck of dust anywhere. I really can't praise it enough. This is one of those rental places you wish you actually lived in. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, incredible views, a rooftop terrace--- I could go on and on. We were met at the property by a very nice young lady named Fiona right on time, and everything was just as advertised. Only two small caveats: 1) There are many stairs as each bedroom is on a different level, so if you travel with someone who has trouble with that, this would not be for you. 2) Directly across the street is a gay club which seems to be open 24 hours a day, and on a couple of mornings (at 5AM!) there was a lot of noise of people shouting and laughing and partying. --would recommend closing windows at night--it was pretty cold at night despite it being summer, so that's no problem, and windows keep out the noise well."

Beautiful French Provencal stone cottage set in private indigenous garden overlooking Llandudno beach. The cottage was lovingly built with exceptional attention to detail, including stone floors, high beamed ceilings, antique light fittings, French wrought iron work and wooden shutters.

It comprises a double bedroom with French doors leading onto private gravel patio with sea and mountain views and breakfast table shade by tall proteas, bathroom with bath and shower tiled in travertine (also mountain views!), lounge with kitchenette and covered "sundowner" patio with magnificent sea views.

The lounge and kitchenette are fully equipped with TV, fridge, convection microwave, gas burners, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle toaster, nespresso coffee machine etc. There is a stone table and chairs on patio where you can sip your cocktails at sunset as well as loungers to soak up the afternoon sun while overlooking the ocean.

Alfie's Cottage is a home away from home. It is fully equipped with a full oven, fridge/ freezer and washing machine so that you can get settled and cook your own meals whilst also enjoying the wonderful restaurants, wine farms and golf courses on offer close by. There are mountain views out of the cottage windows of the magnificent Hottentots Holland nature reserve and we are very near to the Erinvale golf course and the Lourensford, Vergelegen and Morgenster wine farms. Alfie's Cottage borders the nature reserve and we are based on a road loved by walkers and mountain bikers for its incredible views of the mountains and reservoir. The cottage has barbeque facilities and a private patio to enjoy sundowners after a day out.

The kitchen is fully equipped. Home made rusks and biscuits from my kitchen, as well as fruit and wine from the region is supplied.

The bedroom is fitted with a queen size bed, Egyptian cotton and home made quilt. The bathroom with separate bath and shower is en-suite and basic amenities is supplied.

The king size bed was firm, comfortable, and the linens of the highest quality. The separate living room and adjoining kitchen were spacious and relaxed. The beautiful beach and harbour is just 3 kms away whilst the V& A and city centre are a mere 20 minute drive away. It is attached to the main house and has its own private entrance, veranda and braai (barbeque) area. Secure parking on premise. Guests are welcome to make use of the stunning swimming pool or sip cocktails on the desk whilst watching the sea and sunset. It is a 10 minute walk to beach, public transport, restaurants and shops.

- "We had a very nice experience during our 4 night stay. The host was very easy to communicate with and accommodating of our arrival and departure schedule. The apartment has two clean, well appointed bedrooms and a full bathroom. The kitchen facilities are somewhat limited (two countertop burners, no oven, small fridge), but this was irrelevant to us as we had no plans to cook. One of the bedrooms has access to the backyard which has beautiful views of Hout Bay. The walk from the apartment into town was an easy ~10 minutes downhill (we never did the walk back up since we would typically come back late from our activities/dining and were in an Uber; I imagine the walk back-up might have been more difficult due to the uphill). The wi-fi worked well and we appreciated it was on a small generator so would still work during the daily power outages (an issue related to the S. Africa power infrastructure - not related to the apartment). There are several lovely places to explore in Hout Bay and the majority of it can be traversed on foot if you're not adverse to some walking. We would stay again if we came back."

Nestled on the coastal cliffs of Fish Hoek and surrounded by a natural garden the cottage offers breath-taking views across the bay and often you see dolphins and whales frolicking in the waves just below the house.
Fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves and feel completely away from it all in nature while still being in easy reach of all that Cape Town has to offer.
The cottage is within an easy walk to Fish Hoek beach with its crystal clear and warmest water in Cape Town, you can reach central Cape Town in 30 min by car or a picturesque ride in the local train, passing the other coastal towns.

The main bedroom with sea views opens with French doors onto the deck and has a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom, with two single beds, is located in the loft of the living room and is reached via a ladder. There is one bathroom with a shower.
There are BBQ (Braai) facilities in the garden for those summer nights and a cast iron stove for those cuddle up winter nights.
Parking is just outside the property in a secure cul-de-sac.

Your host Uta is happy to help with any advice on the many choices of restaurants, local markets and events in the area or practicalities such as bicycle rent and outdoor activities.

The accommodation itself is well-equipped and very comfortable, and beautifully presented and clean, with good beds. The views across False Bay are breathtaking and change by the minute - sunshine, storms (we had hail!), rainbows. We enjoyed watching seals playing in the kelp below. The kids loved just sitting on the window bench reading, or looking out to sea. To get such an incredible view you have to be fit enough to manage the 60 steepish steps to reach the front door and, inside the house, the staircase to the upper bedroom needs care with small children. We were able to walk easily to Fish Hoek for a great dinner in Barracudas, and Kalk Bay was a short drive away (a bit more modish with a few more restaurants - recommend Satori for pizza). We reached Cape Town centre by car in about 40 mins, and Cape Point was a similar sort of time (with a stop for the penguins in Simon's Town). The area is also good for running, I enjoyed joining several other joggers on an early morning run to Simon's Town and back (c. 7 miles) along the sea footpath. We also appreciated the strong efforts being made here to encourage water management during the drought. Thanks for a wonderful experience."

We are situated in the charming and convenient village of Tokai, within 5 mins drive to a number of prominent wine farms, restaurants, pubs and two golf courses. The beautiful beach of Muizenberg, which affords great swimming, body boarding and surfing in the Indian Ocean, is only 10 mins drive away. You will also find vibey coffee shops and bars along the beach front. Hiking or mountain biking is also only minutes away in the Silvermine Range of mountains.
Easy access to The Blue Route shopping mall and a laundromat.

The Glen Eden Barn is nestled in a beautiful garden with lovely mountain views. It is set in a residential neighbourhood within walking distance to the beach, hiking trails and wetland reserve. A perfect base to experience outdoor activities in the area, explore the quirky towns and restaurants nearby or to just chill out and enjoy the views and tranquility.

Enter a wooden gate and wander up the path through a beautiful established garden, past a firepit, to the Glen Eden Barn. The covered private patio is nestled in a garden setting where you can relax, braai (BBQ) or sip local wine whilst reading a book. A glass patio door leads into the open plan tastefully decorated apartment with vaulted ceilings. The dining area has a wooden dining table and chairs set in front of a large sliding window. The living area is furnished with a comfy couch, TV with Netflix and WiFi. The kitchen is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge and all the essentials for tasty food preparation. The cosy bedroom area has a queen size bed and a ceiling fan. A dressing area with built in wardrobe leads to the modern bathroom with a walk-in shower.The apartment is attached to the main house, however it has its own entrance and is completely private.

Some stairs and a natural stone garden path lead up to the Barn and so it is not suitable for the physically challenged.

Access to the pool are through the sliding doors in the lounge/TV area.Aircon added they can choose between electric blankets or a brand new Aircon .
This cottage is full equipped from a tooth pick to needle and cotton.
For infants I have a Camp Cot , high chair and a toddlers bath .
