There is a washer and dryer in the laundry room. This is a perfect setting for a long-term work-related stay in the area.

The cabin is sitting high above a stocked bream and bass pond with charming rustic touches throughout. Walking trails around and through the property gives you plenty of opportunity to see deer, turkey and a variety of birds. In the morning, grab yourself a warm cup of coffee and sit on our screen porch overlooking the pond and let your worries melt away. - "We were in town for a horse show at St Andrews College. The home was great for us to gather after the show and enjoy family. We had eight adults and the dining room was great for meals and a game of cards. The living room was a good gathering room too. The pillows were not the best, we bought a couple pillows at Wal-Mart. The beds were all very comfortable. We had two men staying in the twin bedrooms that were 6-1 tall. Only people under 5-4 should plan on using these two rooms because the antique wood bed frames made a tall person very uncomfortable with no room for their feet. One of the twin rooms does have a door to the outside so I would not plan on a child using this room. The bathrooms were ok; the showers were functional but could be upgraded. The kitchen was very nice. TVs only in a few of the bedrooms which was fine for us. We would stay here again. If a good hotel was cheaper that might push us back to that type of travel stay."

This cozy one bedroom, one bathroom, second-floor apartment (not accessible) is nestled in the South Carolina countryside. Just 3 miles outside of Historic Bennettsville, SC, and on the property of historic Placid Acres Farmhouse (circa 1796), this escape sits 500 yards away from the main house and is surrounded by trees on three sides, providing privacy while allowing the bucolic view of farm fields on the fourth side.

The quiet location provides peace and calm when you want to enjoy a cup of coffee on the screen porch or read a book in air-conditioned comfort. Watch the lightning bugs (summer) from the porch in the evening and listen to the birds in the morning. Guests are invited to walk around the field, sit in the shade of the pecan trees, or enjoy the gardens and front porch of the historic main home. This is the perfect vacation place for a writer’s retreat, a relaxing get-away-from-it-all break, a home base for visiting family or an exploration of all the Carolinas have to offer.

This upstairs apartment sleeps 4 adults in two queen-sized beds. One bed is in the bedroom and the other is in the central room. Two televisions and Blu-ray/DVD players with numerous movies and card games are available for entertainment. The kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster oven, Keurig machine, and hot water electric kettle. Coffee and tea are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes and utensils you need for cooking and dining. Al fresco seating for two on the screened porch and a small table for two in the eat-in kitchen are available for dining.

Pets are not permitted at this time for their safety. There are also stray dogs and coyotes that pass through the property. There are resident dogs on the property that guests may meet and enjoy (they are behind fences and gates and may be off leash with homeowners on the property).

This old home has been completely renovated and is situated in the hub of the small town of Latta, SC. The home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, den, dining room, sitting room, and kitchen. There is a wrap around porch with rockers and benches for enjoying the out of doors. The home sits across the street from the Carnegie Library which is being enlarged and improved. Next door is the Veterans Park which features the first Post Office, one of the first schools called Vidalia, a gazebo for a lazy afternoon visit. The Post Office is just a walk away on Main Street and the Dillon County Museum is also within walking distance. Just down the street are two churches, Latta Methodist and Latta Baptist. Latta is just off of I-95 and is a perfect stop-over for your trip north or south. Myrtle Beach is about one hour away on Highway 501. If you are a racing fan, the Dillon Raceway is a few miles away. Latta is just 30 minutes from Florence. Come and slow down with us.

There are currently 5 horses that reside at the farm.
There's a 40x70 barn, come on in and pet the horses. Or sit back, kick your feet up and enjoy the peace and quite. There is a fire pit for your enjoyment as well.

Summary:
The campsite is located near the South of the Border tourist attraction. Right on Interstate 95 between the North Carolina and South Carolina state line. Our farm has lots of animals to see such as sheep, goats, and chickens to explore! The towns of Dillon and Hamer are within a 20 minute drive and have a few restaurants you can eat at. Lake Wallace walking trail is within a 25 minute drive which crosses a quaint lake. Within about a 10 minute drive you'll find Red Bluff Lake to do some fishing.

Our secluded campsite is on the Jordan pond with 100 acres of meadow to explore and appreciate!

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable).
