- "If you’re looking for a very special place for a large group, you cannot beat Kellas House. The location is in a beautiful area and there is so much to do locally. Vivienne is a great host and was very supportive all the way. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you Vivienne for a fantastic stay. This vacation will stay long in the memory for us all, you are lucky we left! 😂" - "Pros 1. House was very clean- really clean. 2. Enough room for 17 people to spread out and relax, including the teenagers. There were some rooms that we rarely used. 3. Back garden was wonderful for coffee and breakfast. There was a table with chairs and two picnic tables so there was enough room for everyone to sit together. 4. Every room has its own bathroom- some en-suite, some not- but no one had to share. 5. Owen, who does the clay pigeon shoot, was fantastic. 6. The billiards room was used a lot. 7.The grounds had some nice walks around it. 8. The back stairs were really handy. Cons 1. One bedroom, Schoolbank, and the dressing room and bathroom for Tommy Young smelled of cigarette smoke. It was particularly bad on hot days. 2. The check out time is 10 AM and you need to have all the dishes washed and put away and all the garbage out by then or there is a charge. For the price, I just want to gather my belongings and leave. She did send a message after everything was cleaned up that we could just load the dishwasher and leave. 3. The first time we had a 3 AM alarm, Vivienne told me that I should have called her and she would have addressed it. When we had a new 3 AM alarm , I called her and messaged as requested. I stayed awake waiting waiting for a new message/return call, which came at 06:45. The first alarm was for a massive water leak so naturally, we were concerned. Summary: Part of our stay was wonderful. Part of our stay was very stressful for some."

Fabulous coastal walking along the Moray Coastal Path, Brodie Castle, Elgin Cathedral and Biblical Garden, Dufas castle ruins, Lock Ness and various distilleries all within a day trip driving distance." - "The location in Elgin was excellent: quiet, safe; close to restaurants, the Cathedral and Johnstons Mill. The apartment is in a beautiful old manor house on a lovely piece of property. It is very spacious and included a separate laundry room with washer and dryer. The unit has strong Wifi, assigned parking and easy check-in procedure. We did feel there were a few issues that need improvement - the bed in the primary suite was not comfortable. There were a few dirty dishes/pans in the sink and the dishwasher was not emptied. There were no paper towels or tissues, no laundry soap and only one hand towel. In spite of these few issues, the unit has it's positives and we would recommend it as the cost is reasonable. The host was responsive with check in instructions and graciously accommodated a request for a later check out."

The pod is situated in a field with superb views and wildlife all around, and can be found in the area of Mosstowie which is a 10 minute drive from Elgin. It overlooks the owners' charming pet highland cows, which live in the field next door. A pair of friendly Valias Blacknose sheep are also on site.

The pod was hand built to an exceptionally high standard and contains a double bed, a single bunk bed and a king size luxury sofa bed. A travel cot and high chair are also available but please bring your own bedding for the cot. All bedding is supplied, too.

Newly refurbished throughout 2 bedroom flat. Just one mile approximately from the town centre Elgin and just 0.5 miles from Elgin's beautiful historic Cathedral and the world famous Johnston's of Elgin for a spot of luxury shopping! A modern flat to the rear of the property in of one of Elgin's finest houses "Lesmurdie House" converted in 2003. Ideal location for Moray Whisky Trail and all other local attractions.

There is a large collection of DVDs both for adults and children in the coffee table in the lounge. The DVD player also plays blue ray should you wish to take some of those yourself. Also there is a selection of board games through in the wardrobe in the bedroom again both for adults and children. I have also left a wide selection of takeaway menus in the kitchen drawer for you if you do fancy a takeaway and film night. I also have a selection of baby/toddler toys for the younger guests just let me know if you need these as these are in the locked cleaning cupboard in the hall.

Step back in time when you stay at this unique and historic place.
Dates back to 17th century and is situated in a historic part of Elgin. It has been totally renovated to give a more comfortable and modern interior. The cottage is less than a five minute walk to the 800 year old ruin of Elgin Cathedral. The Biblical Gardens, Elgin Museum and Cooper Park are also situated close to the cottage.

The space
The cottage has an open plan sitting room and kitchen. Large spiral staircase with balcony bedroom. The bedroom has 2 single beds. The cottage is quite spacious inside with plenty cupboard space and the bathroom has a shower and bath.
We have a small private car park which is accessible to guests.

Guest access
The whole cottage is available to guests.

Other things to note
It is always helpful to me if guests can give me a rough idea of their arrival time to be sure that I am available to greet them. Keys can be collected from my house.

The space
Flooded with natural light, in cool coastal colours, Harbourside Rest is a great place to relax. Quality accommodation with solid oak furniture, retro appliances and contemporary lighting. Luxury bedlinen and towels, a power shower and hairdryer add to your comfort. Our mini kitchen has a microwave, induction hotplate and pans, kettle, toaster and fridge with reasonable sized freezer for short stays. Stoneware crockery and ample glassware allow you to enjoy a nice light meal or snack, a relaxing cuppa or perhaps sip Prosecco outside. Watch the boats come and go, birdwatchers and photographers stroll by and enjoy the evening peace and beautiful sunsets.
Walk your four legged friend for miles straight from the door. Grass area with dog waste disposal points adjacent to the accommodation.

Not outside weather? Easily controlled heating will keep you cosy whilst dining by the window or relaxing with Netflix or Catchup TV. There is ofcourse free wifi.
So kick off your shoes, listen to the waves and have a long awaited break.

Guest access
Harbourside Rest is a private, self contained space with direct access to the harbourside. There is one small step at the doorway. (please see photos)
Cars can be temporarily parked right at the door for less able guests or for unloading the car with luggage or shopping.
Your car can then be parked 3 or 4 metres away on the harbourside.

Hello dog owners. 🐾
We love dogs, you may hear our little Dotty barking at the postman!
Well behaved dogs are very welcome. It's a fabulous area for walking.
The usual request of no excessive barking, picking up after your dog and leaving the accommodation as you found it, would be much appreciated.
Please bring your own dog towels for after fun on the beach and if your pooch is known to sleep on the bed, please let me know in advance and bring your own bed linen.
