Our funky three-bedroom suntrap offers cheerful open-plan living overlooking the large yard. This house is fresh and functional, with new carpet and paint throughout. An HRV system, built-in fire place and ceiling fan help to keep the temperature comfortable throughout the seasons. A brand new heatpump/ air conditioner has been recently installed.

The bedrooms include a queen, a king single and two single beds, as well as a sofa bed in the lounge for added flexibility.

The modern kitchen includes a double oven, microwave and gas cooktop, as well as a brand-new dishwasher.

The older-style bathroom (with shower, bath and separate toilet) is perfectly clean and functional, and the laundry is an asset for longer-term guests.

The property is fully fenced, and is tucked down a quiet back section. Please feel free to enquire about bringing your pet - we are happy to discuss this with you. There is plenty of off-street parking for a caravan or boat.

The bike trail is only round the corner from our property. Straight off the Coastal Highway, very easy to find and yet set in a rural setting but also views to the Tasman Bay Sea. Enjoy beautiful swimming lake with rope swing and pontoon, and large grass areas, a treehouse for the children with slide and firemans pole and a large concrete area to park your boat or ride your bike on.

Our neighbours are Parklands School so if you have children, they will have plenty of space to run and play, use the playground & basketball court.
Woolworths supermarket is literally 2 minutes’ walk away, so you can sit back and enjoy a fabulous Tasman experience!

The deck and outdoor furniture, sun umbrella are all for your use, and so is the barbecue, but please clean it after use. Off street parking is for one car, but as long as we chat and you leave space and access for our car, we might be able to fit another car in for you . There’s a washing machine in The Summerhouse and if you need an ron and ironing board just ask. The clothesline is in the back garden and a small drying rack available to use on the deck.

Theproperty is very convenient in the centre of the CBD, so If you are wanting to wake up to bird song then this is not the place for you.

While this place is very convenient, it is close to a road and next to a tyre fitter. I'm a light sleeper and have no problem sleeping there at all.

The Motueka Golf Course is nicknamed “The Friendly Club” and is well recognized NZ wide as being of a very high standard. They welcome green fee players.

Our snug studiois a perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Overlooking our expansive backyard and onto Mt Campbell, wake up to birdsong. Very handy to town with it's cafes & restaurants. Part of the Great Taste Trail (local food, wine & craft beers) and en-route to the Abel Tasman & Kahurangi National Parks, there are golden sand beaches, all just minutes away. Stay & rest or use this as a base for the region's activities. In our backyard and close to our home.

The space
A lovely, sunny & snug studio. This would make for a great place to stop and rest or to use as a base while you make the most of all the exciting things that this region has to offer - from the bike and walking trails, to sky-diving, the beaches and of course, the national parks.
You should be very comfortable on the double sized bed, with feather and down pillows. There are extra blankets as well, in case you should feel the cold. There is also a wall (panel) heater for your comfort.
While there is no stove to cook, the microwave & fridge should be very handy. There is a selection of coffee & tea. There is a wee bottle of milk in the fridge.
The local restaurants and cafes are great and there are some menus handy to help you decide your next meal.
WI-FI - There is a dedicated router in the studio to ensure you have fantastic speeds and unlimited usage (within reason!). The access codes etc are available in the room when you stay here.

A lovely, private space that has it's own entrance. You can come in and go as you please. There is even plenty of space on our street for you to park your campervan or caravan while you take a break! You should be able to park your car in our driveway.
You can check yourself in any time after 3 o'clock. If we will not be around or you will be arriving later in the day, we will let you know where to find the key. :)

The master bedroom and en-suite in my home is set up as a private Airbnb room. It has its own car parking area, entrance door, and kitchenette. I live in the rest of the house. So its like staying in your own motel room but without that usual bland and touristy motel feeling.

The space
The house is about 10 years, so a modern fully insulated house, which is clean and tidy.

The room has a kitchenette. So a sink, microwave, kettle, toaster, plates, bowls and cutlery. So you can do basic cooking, re-heat food, prepare cold food, have takeaways and make breakfast in the morning etc.

There is 1 queen size bed. There is also a single mattress for a third person to stay (a third person is $20 extra).

A dog lives at the property. She doesn't go into the Airbnb room and is enclosed behind a fence, so you won't have to interact with her. But you can if you want to - you just need to go into the main part of the back yard through the gate. Dari Dog is a very friendly border terrier.

You have full use of the master room, the car parking area and an area of garden. You can also use the additional fenced area of the garden if you want to interact with the dog and if you want to put washing on the line.

The washing machine is in the garage. There is a key on the tray above the microwave that opens the garage door near where you park.

The entrance is via the car parking area. Park your car down between the garage wall and fence, and then walk beyond the car and turn right. When you park the car, you'll be next to the garage single access door. The door to the private room is a bit further beyond there.

At Apple Tree View you will find a large sunny room with private en-suite. A self service continental breakfast is provided. The rural aspect is peaceful and relaxing, enjoy a coffee or beverage of your choice on the deck overlooking the apple orchard and out towards the beautiful Mt Arthur Ranges. Only minutes from Motueka itself with easy access the Abel Tasman National Parks or a short trip to Richmond and Nelson.

The space
No cleaning fees or bond required. The guest room opens out onto a large covered deck offering a tranquil setting to enjoy one of the sunniest locations in New Zealand. The bedroom is a generous size with plenty of room to spread out and find those important items from the bottom of the suitcases. It has a King size bed and full size en-suite with shower, basin and toilet to freshen up after a day of exploring the local sites. The room includes a comfortable single bed for either friends and family traveling together that don't want to share a bed or groups of 3 people. There is also a small selection of books relating to local history and events that guests can read if they wish and there is a TV in the room. Please note that we do not offer kitchen facilities, only for breakfast and drink making.

The kitchen facilities are NOT available for cooking, the use of the kitchen is reserved for the provided continental breakfast and drink making only (More than happy for you to prepare you lunches in the kitchen if required). You are welcome to share our main lounge and read any of our many books available, or just relax and listen to the birdsong. The deck is also very inviting and you are welcome to kick back and enjoy the view.

During your stay
We are a working couple but will always find time for our guests. Cath works from home as a book keeper and Mike is involved in the local orcharding industry and is happy to share his knowledge of the horticultural history of the area, if time permits you may even get a short tour of a couple of local orchards. Guests are welcome to join us in the main living room if they wish or just kick back and relax doing their own thing.

We are users of Airbnb accommodation when we travel locally and abroad, we very much enjoyed meeting local people and it has inspired us to offer our place for accommodation and share a little of our local knowledge. We very much look forward to meeting visitors to our little place in the world.
Generally check in is from 4pm but please check with us as some days we can check you in earlier. We also have 2 cats, Finnley and Tui, they like to laze about on the deck or in hide in the cool of the gardens.

Private, self contained space in Ed's - a character filled 120 year old bungalow - just 20 minutes away from the Abel Tasman National Park, Kaiteriteri beach & Mapua, and only 40 minutes away from Nelson city. Ed’s makes for a perfect base to explore the surrounding region, and is only a short drive into Motueka town, handy to the supermarket, cafes and shops.

If you're heading to explore Abel Tasman we're about 25 min drive to Mārahau and about 15min to Kaiteriteri.
We're only a quick bike ride down the road to join the Great Taste Trail. If you feel like jumping out of the plane we're 10 minutes walk from the base of the Abel Tasman Skydive. Sunny Nelson is only 45minutes drive away. Or skip over the hill for a day to explore beautiful Golden Bay.

There is plenty of places to see and activity options to choose from. We're more than happy to help you with bookings or just chat about recommendations.
