I used to rent this property regularly and am just now getting back into it. The reviews, though they are old, are all valid because the property has not changed. This listing will get more details posted as time allows, but for now I am happy to answer any questions.

Clean and comfortable home, recently renovated, offering one bedroom (queen), plus a twin bunk bed in a heated sunroom with shades for privacy, and one full bathroom. Sunroom is also set up to be a kids playroom. This is a 4bed/3bath house, but the 2nd floor is not rented. L-shaped great room with dining table, living room, and nice kitchen looking over 1/2 acre yard. 1/2 mile from downtown Hanover and 3/4 mile from the center of the Dartmouth campus. Abuts conservation land with trails and a brook, yet convenient to all that Hanover has to offer.

Tastefully furnished, a feeling of expansiveness pervades with open and airy views of this 4/5 bedroom, 3 bath home. Come and stay where the last episode of The Soprano's was written! and many Hollywood persona have stayed!

Due to the outstanding direct view of Baker Library and the Dartmouth campus, the home is often used for family photos taken from the deck. Enjoy the magnificent sunrises from this estate nestled on a secluded on 74 acres! Truly a hidden gem, it can be seen perched at the very top of the hill as you enter Norwich with an acre pond used for swimming in the summer, skating in winter. It has been rented by the Hollywood set, (the final episode of the Sopranos was written here!) and professionals alike, this home is available for weekly or biweekly.
The estate is conveniently located in the Upper Connecticut Valley, right in the heart of everything, only 5 hours from New York, 2 from Boston and 3 ½ from Montreal. adventures available due to its close proximity to the various towns of the area such as Hanover, New Hampshire, the home of Dartmouth College and Woodstock, Vermont, the Rockefeller retreat.
Just 1 ½ miles from I 91 in one direction or the famous Dan and Whits General Store, (do not miss this! “If they don’t have it, you don’t need it!) King Arthur Flour and a 5-minute drive from Dartmouth! Norwich is a gorgeous village and community with lovely shops, a local coffee house, wine/liquor store to impress, and so much more! Events galore and activities such as the local ice skating rink in the elementary school playground! Hanover is charming with its array of shops and great places to eat! An easy drive away are the charming enclaves of the area featuring local theatre, opera, fairs and events in and around the area take place all year and are too numerous to mention! Garden Club or Historical Society happenings, golfing, swimming holes, bicycling, hiking, the what seems to be millions of miles of trails, birding, ice skating, fishing, ballooning, festivals, antique sales, catch an auction with the international jet set at the Smith Auction Gallery in Plainfield, New Hampshire, book readings, Dartmouth pageantries and cultural happenings of the Hopkins Center and newly renovated Hopkins Center for the Arts.
Winter skiing is convenient at the Dartmouth Skiway, or Suicide 6 in Woodstock, or Whaleback Mountain, with a cozy, family atmosphere in Enfield, New Hampshire, all about a half hour door to door. Skiing can be found approximately one hour away at: Stowe, Mt. Sunapee Killington and Okemo. If you don’t mind the extra half hour -/+, then Bromley, Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, Cannon Mountain, Gunstock, Waterville Valley, Pat’s Peak in Henniker, New Hampshire or Ragged Mountain. Mt Snow is about 2 hours away.
Or, relax here and enjoy a complete vacation! Go swimming or boating in the pond, or catch frogs; pick wild berries and hike; the Appalachian Mountain Trail abuts our property to the north. Open the French doors that run across the length of the back/view side of the house and enjoy cooking on the barbecue and dine while taking in the view of the complete Upper Valley from the 2000 square foot deck. You can follow the Connecticut River for miles! In fall or winter, wear if it's not too cold, wear your light jackets or sweaters and dine on the cozy winter/summer porch where you may see a deer or two munching on the fruit left on the ground from the summer harvest!
In winter, the land dividing us and our 35 acres of virgin land on the other side of the property is an official snowmobile trail and often our guests go snowshoeing, cross country skiing there which is one of the highest points in Norwich and a wonderful place to hike. We have even had teenagers who have built snowboard effects and go snowboarding right on the property. The pond is used for ice skating or hockey.
And, although the property is completely isolated which creates a virtual oasis of privacy and comfort, you are never more than about a mile from Dan and Whits where you can always get whatever you may need, or just a few minutes from Hanover and about 15 minutes from the large national stores in West Lebanon.

Although an older home, it offers every amenity, including hardwood floors, top-of-the-line appliances, hardwired and Wi-Fi communications.
There are 6 proper beds, one ensuite, with a hall bath and another off the side entrance.
The art is insured, numbered and pictured. A copy of a catalog of each work of art and book is stored in the desk at the front entrance.

This house is located directly in the town of Hanover, and abuts Dartmouth campus. There are plenty of local amenities within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, and parks.

Guests will have access to the first and second floor of the home, including the surrounding yard, deck, pool, and hot tub. The basement floor is off limits, as is the greenhouse, garage, and indoor fire places. We do also have two long-term tenants in units connected to the home. Your rental is completely private and there is no way for either party to gain access to either rental.

Welcome to our home in Hanover, NH! This large home with 4 bedrooms and 4 and half bathrooms is perfect for families coming to visit the area or their students at Dartmouth College. Located directly across the street from the campus, this home can act as your home base while you spend time getting to know the surrounding college town. Our home boasts close to 5000 square feet of living and entertaining space. There are many ways to spend your time here. Enjoy our large and comprehensive library, take in a movie in the TV room, or enjoy a drink out on the deck/patio area. In the summer, the pool and hot tub are the perfect way to end a day of enjoying the surrounding amenities.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love our home! Famous Pine Park, on Dartmouth campus, is directly across the street and has several hiking trails. We are also minutes from Storrs Pond Recreation Center, which includes a sandy beach, disc golf course, hiking trails, and pool. Within 10 minutes of the home are several areas for hiking, including Norwich Nature Area Trails, The Appalachian Trail, Mini Brook Nature Preserve, and others. In the winter, we have many skiing opportunities near us including Dartmouth Skiway, Whaleback Mountain, and Woodstock Nordic Center. Sunapee Mountain, Okemo, and Killington are all within an hour of our home, as well.

With Hanover hosting Dartmouth College, there are tons of great restaurants and bars within minutes of the house. Some of our favorites include Sawtooth Kitchen, Duende, Murphy's on the Green, and Pine. Of course, with the pool and hot tub, library, and TV room, you may just choose to spend your vacation at the house!

Pool and hot tub are available from Memorial Day-Labor Day. *We ask that guests be sure to shower prior to using these wonderful amenities, as this ensures the water stays clean and clear. If the hot tub or pool are left in a dirty and messy state, there will be an additional cleaning fee.

Just 3 miles from Dartmouth and moments from King Arthur Flour, Montshire Museum, VA Hospital, and DHMC, our location is perfect for students, scholars, and professionals visiting the Upper Valley. Step outside to explore local natural trails, immersing yourself in Vermont's captivating beauty. Ski areas abound with Storrs Hill, Dartmouth Skiway, Quechee, Sunapee, Killington, Okemo, and more within 10-50 minutes! 4WD or snow tires are recommended in winter. Your home away from home awaits!

- "Great location close to Dartmouth with about 3 miles' driving and easy access to natural trails! Host is very responsive and accommodating. It's quiet and not too hot as there are a lot of woods around. Would love to stay here again when coming back to the upper valley area." - "Great place would definitely rent again." - "We waited two days for glassware (there was none), coffee mugs (there was one), dishwasher detergent, hangers, dish drainer, bathroom night lights, mixing bowls to be delivered. The reading light outlet in the bedroom needed replacing. The shower handles in the upstairs bathroom came off if you used them, and the toilet seat was broken. The furniture was mismatched and funky. There were only 4 chairs for the dining table in a place that sleeps 11, and a 2 cup coffee maker. There were no chairs for sitting on the deck. the closets were a mess, and the entire place needs a serious deep clean. There were no house numbers at the driveway or on the house, making it difficult to be sure it was the right house. The mattresses were mismatched with the "box springs". I believe the sheets were clean. We had to purchase a connecting cable in order to make the TV work. TV's in every room were advertised, but there was only the one, and no "fitness center," only an exercise bike in the living room. We felt we did a service to future renters, having left it in better shape than we found it. For that service we felt it fair to ask for a discount refund, but have had no response. I regret leaving such a critical review. The apartment may be suitable as a college "crash pad", but it did not meet our expectations."

The space
Experience the charm and comfort of a fully renovated Cape built in 1793. Five miles from Dartmouth College and Hanover N.H. in the beautiful Connecticut River Valley.

The space available for rent is the second floor of my home. The second floor has a large bedroom, large sitting room, private bathroom, and private entrance.

Bedroom includes queen size bed, armchair, chest of drawers, built-in closet, full-length mirrors, and iron/ironing board.

Sitting room includes couch, armchair, desk, infrared sauna (dry sauna), and a compact kitchen. The compact kitchen has a small fridge, small freezer, microwave, toaster oven, and portable stovetop. The second sink in the bathroom is used for water/washing dishes.

Washer and dryer provided in basement of house. A single inside car space is available in the garage.

Utilities included. Sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, and kitchenware are provided.

Stay in the second floor of a split level family home less than an easy 3/4 mi walk to campus. Home located on gardened lot in a residential neighborhood - stroll to cafes and athletic facilities.

The space
The upstairs of our home consists of a large den space with a queen bed, small refrigerator, tv, coffee/tea station, and a working or dining area with seating up to 4. This is a perfect discrete space for a couple or a single person.

There is a full bath - no tub, large shower only - dedicated to the single booking party.

2 additional bedrooms are also available for extra guest fee(s): one with a full bed and one with 2 twin beds. Again, these will not be available to anyone but the sole booking party!

Laundry facilities are located off the main rental space - we strive to not use the laundry while we have guests but may need to make arrangements in special circumstances.

The entire second floor of our home will be available to the single booking party - that is, the bathroom is dedicated to those who book the unit.

There is a separate entrance to the upstairs at the front of the house. The owner’s entrance is down the driveway and away from the front of the house.

Welcome to The Cabin at Pinneo Hill Farm! We are a 10 minute drive from the Dartmouth Green where hiking, mountain biking and more abound. Close to the border of Vermont, we are a 15 minute drive to historic Norwich, VT and 20 minutes to the Lebanon, NH town green. Originally designed for Dartmouth men as a weekend retreat, it was converted with indoor plumbing after WW 2. Now "modernized," it has a full kitchen, 3 full baths and a washer and dryer. But, make no mistake, this is a rustic cabin.

The space
Loaded with Dartmouth memorabilia and bookshelves filled with books and “whatnot” hailing from a different era, The Cabin at Pinneo Hill Farm is a truly one-of-a-kind spot where you will find privacy in the woods, a cozy living room with stone fireplace, a dining room that seats eight, and a kitchen with all the amenities you need, including a dishwasher.
The main cabin has two full bathrooms (one with a tub) and a washer/dryer. There are three bedrooms: The "Bunk Room," which sleeps 2; the "Major's Room" with twin beds; and, the "Back Bedroom" also with twin beds. In the private loft, nicknamed "The B-Hive" (accessed by a built-in “ship’s” ladder), there are double bunks and a sitting area.
There is also a bedroom addition on the back of the cabin with a queen adjustable bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. This bedroom has its own, private entrance.

Welcome to our home in Hanover, NH! This large home with 4 bedrooms and 4 and half bathrooms is perfect for families coming to visit the area or their students at Dartmouth College. Located directly across the street from the campus, this home can act as your home base while you spend time getting to know the surrounding college town. Our home boasts close to 5000 square feet of living and entertaining space. There are many ways to spend your time here. Enjoy our large and comprehensive library, take in a movie in the TV room, or enjoy a drink out on the deck/patio area. In the summer, the pool and hot tub are the perfect way to end a day of enjoying the surrounding amenities.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love our home! Famous Pine Park, on Dartmouth campus, is directly across the street and has several hiking trails. We are also minutes from Storrs Pond Recreation Center, which includes a sandy beach, disc golf course, hiking trails, and pool. Within 10 minutes of the home are several areas for hiking, including Norwich Nature Area Trails, The Appalachian Trail, Mini Brook Nature Preserve, and others. In the winter, we have many skiing opportunities near us including Dartmouth Skiway, Whaleback Mountain, and Woodstock Nordic Center. Sunapee Mountain, Okemo, and Killington are all within an hour of our home, as well.

With Hanover hosting Dartmouth College, there are tons of great restaurants and bars within minutes of the house. Some of our favorites include Sawtooth Kitchen, Duende, Murphy's on the Green, and Pine. Of course, with the pool and hot tub, library, and TV room, you may just choose to spend your vacation at the house!

Guests will have access to the first and second floor of the home, including the surrounding yard, deck, pool, and hot tub. Your rental is completely private and there is no way for either party to gain access to either rental.

Other things to note
Pool and hot tub are available from Memorial Day-Labor Day. We ask that guests be sure to shower prior to using these wonderful amenities, as this ensures the water stays clean and clear. If the hot tub or pool are left in a dirty and messy state, there will be an additional cleaning fee.

Under no circumstances do we allow smoking or vaping in the house or around the property.

Per the town of Hanover ordinance, outdoor noise volume should cease after 10 pm.

Please carry in any and all foods and trash should you be down below on the patio. We have many different wild animals who need not learn there is a handout, especially the bears as the officials will be obligated to remove any bear that becomes too familiar with people. Thank you!
