This private, cozy one bedroom apartment is nestled on the Connecticut River with direct waterfront access yet is only 4 miles from the quaint Historic Littleton downtown area which offers many dining and shopping oppurtunities. The property offers hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, hammock snoozing, firepit enjoyment, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing and more. Littleton has been rated as one of the top ten best small towns in America and offers a great Main street experience including a covered walking bridge and a suspension bridge. There is also a pretty river walk downtown. We even have a ski hill in town and of course larger ski areas are also available nearby.
The apartment is the only rental unit on the property. It offers one bedroom with a queen bed and super comfortable mattress and pillows as well as a blow up twin mattress. The bathroom is a tub/shower combination. We provide linens and there is a washer and dryer in the unit for your use. The apartment has three mini-split units for heating and cooling as well as a heated floor in the bathroom .There are no stairs to enter the unit and no stairs in the unit, it is all completely one level, perfect for those who have difficulty with stairs. We have plenty of parking for those who have trailered equipment.
This unit is in our detached post and beam garage with beautiful exposed beams throughout the apartment. We live on the property in our log home. We will give you as much privacy as you need. You are welcome to use the workout equipment on the second level of the garage, just note that this area has no heating or cooling.

"The Loft" is a private, quiet studio apartment located in walking distance from downtown Littleton, NH. Our award-winning Main Street includes local shops, restaurants, a brewery, and a beautiful riverwalk. Free parking for one car on site. Queen sized bed, furnished kitchen, clean sheets, and clean towels are provided.

The space
The Loft is a studio apartment located above a garage. The parking spot is directly in front of the wooden stairs. The stairs lead from the parking spot up to a small deck with a door leading into the unit. The door opens into the kitchen area, which includes a fridge, stove, oven, sink, coffee pot, teapot, plates, cutlery, and spices. Beyond the kitchen is a dining table, and beyond that is a queen sized bed, a TV, and a bookshelf with books and games. The bathroom is right around the corner, with a stand up shower, a toilet, and a vanity. Upon guest arrival, the bed will be made, and clean towels will be provided.

Guest access
After turning off of Cottage St. on to Crane St, the driveway is on the righthand side and you almost have to do a U-turn to enter. At the top of the driveway, there is a garage on the left. The Loft is located above the garage. Please park in front of the staircase. You are welcome to use the deck attached to The Loft, as well as the picnic table in the yard.

WINTER DRIVING: The driveway is paved, and we do plow and sand regularly. All season or winter tires are recommended. Please understand that if you only have summer tires on in the winter, and it is snowing, you will likely not make it up the driveway.

A beautiful open-style loft cabin in the woods of New Hampshire, near Partridge lake. The lake access point is nearby. The cabin is close to I-93, which provides access to White Mountain hiking trails and Littleton town center.

The space
The gorgeous setting amidst the trees and near the lake make this a perfect retreat. The cabin has large windows which allow plenty of natural light. There is a grill to use, and a fire-pit in the yard for cooking smores. There are two two kayaks and two paddle boards (life vests, too.) The SUPs can be carried to the lake, but an appropriate vehicle will be needed for easy transport of the kayaks (and helps for the SUPs, too.)
Fishing gear is also ready for use.

This cabin is a 5+ Energy Star Certified Home and was awarded the Gold Award in the Green Building Category, presented by the New Hampshire Home Builders Association. A special feature of the environmental design is the bank of windows along the entire south side of the home, which allows the sun’s energy to heat the home, as well as adding abundant natural light.

Full access to cabin, terrace, and yard. Please note that there is no actual separate bedroom space; the "bedroom" is the loft with two beds. While the loft has a railing, the ladder does not and as such is not suitable for small children.

Other things to note
This cabin is intended as an escape from modern life...as such, there is no wifi and no TV. Your cell phones may only have signal sporadically.
If you need wifi, there is a great cafe, Inkwell, about 15 min down the road. Walmart and Starbucks also have free wifi.
Also note that the loft/beds are accessible only by ladder stairs.

You’re also welcome to use the large side yard near the ski fence its mostly fenced in —just keep an eye on your dogs and clean up after them. If you're interested in accessing the river, please ask—we're happy to share more info about how and when it's available.

The Steel Cabin offers 675 sq ft of encapsulating knotty pine with stained barn doors, exposed beams across the cathedral ceiling and an oversized granite kitchen island to gather and entertain. Upon entering you will appreciate the red cedar handmade bench as well as the cast iron and shaped wood coat rack/cubby. After a few steps you will then be greeted with a second story direct view of Mt. Washington and the Presidentials. A king size master bed will be a cozy welcome with sunrise views.

Guests have full access to the entire property, including all three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living spaces, and the outdoor deck and firepit area.

Other things to note
The A-frame sits on a hilltop with beautiful views and a peaceful setting. In spring, summer, and fall, most vehicles including those without AWD can access the driveway without issue. In winter, however, 4WD or AWD is necessary due to snow and ice. The driveway is plowed and roads are town-maintained, but conditions can still be slippery. Please plan accordingly.

There is a shooting range located a few miles away, and on occasion, distant sound may be heard from the property.

To access the two bedrooms upstairs, guests will use the spiral staircase, a charming feature that adds a touch of rustic character to the home. The staircase is slightly steeper than standard stairs, so we recommend supervising young children while they’re using it.

The primary upstairs bedroom includes access to a small balcony. While it offers a nice view, we kindly ask that guests refrain from using the balcony during their stay. It’s not set up as a hangout space, and we ask that children are not allowed out on the balcony. Thank you for your understanding!

A limited number of additional kayaks and canoes, as well as a kayak roof rack, are available for rent. We are also happy to arrange transportation and pickup services whenever we have availability.
 
If you’re new to kayaking or canoeing, and would prefer a lesson, or you want a guided tour of the marshes, ponds, and backwaters of New Hampshire, we are happy to arrange one if available.

We also keep two complimentary bicycles on site for your use, with a limited number of additional bicycles available for rent.

Our goal is to get you outdoors, enjoying the beauty of our mountains and valleys. We're available to help with information, ideas, and assistance.

We live on the adjacent property. You're welcome to follow the path through the trees to enjoy our three acre meadow for walking, picnicing, and enjoying the views across Crawford Notch to Franconia Notch and the Presidentials.

Please note that we will infrequently need to access the basement through an exterior door separate from the guest spaces in order to obtain items for our specialty foods business. If we have to visit, it will be brief and we will let you know ahead of time.

As you walk in, you will feel right at home. There are coat hooks and a small closet to your left. The living room has a sofa sleepover and end tables that can double as extra seating. The table under the TV pulls out to create a wonderful dining area that can seat upto 6 with the extra stools. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a meal during your stay. In the bunkroom there is a Twin over Full bed, a washer & dryer, and another close for storing your luggage. The bathroom has all of the towels & things you need for your stay. Take the spiral staircase up the 2nd bedroom with a Queen bed and a sitting area.

Other things to note
The kitchen sink is touchless. Wave your hand in front of the sensor to turn it on.. Extra towels are in the basket under the spiral staircase. Bedding for the Sofa Sleeper are in the bunkroom closet. The ceiling height in the upstairs is only 6'4".

This home is a lovingly cared for 1950's ranch style home. It has been tastefully updated to be a welcoming and comfortable space. We have made every effort to provide every amenity you need to feel at home while you are traveling.

We have a fully equipped kitchen with all the tools you need to prepare meals on your own, to grill out, or to accommodate your favorite take out. There is a grill and picnic table on the back deck, along with a fire pit in the yard to spend a relaxing evening with friends and family.

Our cozy living room has beautiful afternoon light, reclining sofas, WiFi, and a smart TV with access to Hulu, Netflix, and Disney+, as well as all the news channels you need. We have plenty of books and games available if you are here to truly unplug.

The king bedroom is beautiful and comfortable, there is a smaller queen bedroom bathed in calming colors, and a lovely twin bunk bedroom with room for 3. All bedrooms have memory foam mattresses and room darkening curtains for those days when you just want to sleep in.

Our large garage is available for use and can accommodate 2 cars, to keep you from having to brush them off after a night of snow. The mudroom is spacious and welcoming with ski and snowboard racks for your equipment, along with ample hooks and cabinets for all your gear.
