Local shopping is a mile away. Restaurants and a bar are very close. Several public boat ramps are available along with pay to use ramps. There is also an ice cream stand a very short distance away. Soft serve, yum.

The space
This cozy 500sq ft apartment has a feel of being in a wood cabin ,there is a flight if STAIRS to access the apt .You can then relax-looking out if the window at tree tops in a recliner,rocking chair or sit in the garden and listen to the birds in the morning.There is a 55inch T.V to relax while laying on the sofa in the lounge.There is a kitchen with a full cooker,fridge freezer microwave,,Toaster and lots more.I do provide coffee maker,coffee ,Tea sugar and creamers .A bathroom with Tub and Shower .Separate bedroom .luxury 16 inch memory foam mattress on the full size bed .there is a dresser and a desk ,a comfortable chair for relaxing. AlsoThere is a fully sprung portable single bed with a memory phone topper that will be based in the lounge for the extra guest on request when booking .We do have A C based in the lounge and the bedroom windows also ceiling fans in the kitchen and bedroom for the summer months.In the winter months you have heating throughout with your own controls based on the wall in the lounge .

We do have a Golden Retriever pup .He lives in the main house .The washer is large and new the dryer is apt size .both are located on the left in a little room as you walk Through the main front door before you go upstairs.There is public transport if you prefer there is Uber and Lyft. Monthly stays or more are for a max of 2 people.We do accommodate med students on rotations off season.

If you love nature, animals, barns, quaint buildings, farm equipment, small farm stream bridges, gardens, huge trees, swings, ponds, Fall Colors, or just want to go to beautiful relaxing location to get away from it all, this would be a perfect location. This is a great place for relaxing and getting away from the city for a “Country Retreat” for people from nearby Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Youngstown, Akron, Canton, or beyond. There is a great view of animals from the kitchen table. If you like birdwatching, thes birds have been spotted, Hummingbirds, Red Headed Woodpeckers, Orioles, Robins, Bluebirds, Cardinals, Blue jays, Morning Doves, Herons, Hawks, and Redwing Blackbirds.

We raise garlic, garden vegetables, do aquaponics, have a greenhouse, cut wood for stoves, make hay, compost food scraps, grow shitake mushrooms, and make our own maple syrup. The campfire and wood are available for use.

The Suite is a self contained with a private entrance, The unit has a living room, bedroom, full kitchen, and washer/dryer, and bathroom shower. A Berkey Water Filter is available or bring your drinking water. The bedroom has a Queen size bed and there is a Queen Size Sofa Bed in Living Room area. The unit is connected to the Main House with sound insulation between 2 doors that block most sounds. There is a Deck Walkway that passes by the front door that will have occasional people passing by. Curtains and blinds are available to make totally private.

The Pond is available for fishing with your own fishing gear. Children will need supervision.

If we are available, you can join us to feed the animals and collect eggs: A Cob oven or Pizza Oven is available upon request if we are available for an Extra Charge.

My place is located on west side of Youngstown in the middle of everything!It’s minutes away from restaurants, shopping and all kinds of businesses,2 miles from I-80,5 miles from downtown Youngstown, 3 miles from Casino,less than a mile from grocery store.There’s also local food mart with gas station and laundromat right next door.The apartment is on the second floor and has it’s separate entrance.For our guests we offer shampoo, conditioner, body wash and dish soap which are animal cruelty free

Very clean with mostly newer fixtures, with exception of toilet, which was small and low. Coffee pot was nice to have. Didn’t use kitchen must but very functional. Cozy sitting room with DVD player. Lighting throughout better than most hotels (bad lighting is a pet peeve). Decor was quirky, made it seem that much more like staying over at someone's house. Public fishing dock on Lake Milton just a walk through the woods. Home is fully updated and stocked with everything you will need for your getaway! This place is the best kept secret on the Lake! Please note the driveway is rough as it is part of the state park and not well maintained.

Also you have access to our backyard pavilion which is a great place to have a conversation, enjoy the birds singing, have a cocktail or use as your smoking lounge.

The front porch offers an old fashioned swing, a comfy wicker sofa and a glass top table and chairs. Sit and listen to the rain or wave at the neighbors driving by. A perfect place to relax and eat your breakfast or have coffee in the morning, too!

As you enter the home and come into the first floor you will note a spacious living room with oversized furniture and a fireplace, as well as a 70" TV for your enjoyment. This room is downstairs, by itself. Very private. Has a queen size bed. Our home is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We do have 1 old dog, barks but super friendly. This room has a kitchenette with a sink, own refridgerator, microwave, coffee area, mini roaster/air fryer. Coffee & fresh fruit are provided, plus RO water.
Monthly stays get discounts (each rm has an Ionizer/Ozone unit to sanitize rm)

The space
This is our home shared with Airbnb guests. Upstairs are 3 guest rooms and this room is downstairs in a furnished basement. you do have a private 1/2 bathroom just outside this room. shower is shared down the hall

Guest access
All airbnb guests are welcomed to use the kitchen and laundry room. We try to make our home feel like home to our guests.

During your stay
We respect everyones space. We are easily accessed if there is a need.

Other things to note
We have an old large black lab mix , that stays outside. ( friendly- but likes to bark)his name is Duffus. sometimes we will doggy sit our daughters dog Marley. super sweet , she stay inside. all the dogs stay in designated areas. They are not allowed in rooms.
My family and I enjoy every guests that stays with us, the only limitation we have is unfortunately our shared bathroom - shower that is down the hall. We ask if the very hot showers can be limited to less than 15 mins.. due to the space and limited ventilation. Our bathroom cannot handle the long steamy hot showers.
PLEASE: clean up after each use, as this is shared bathroom.
also Please clean up after each use in kitchen. Leave the condition of the kitchen and bathroom the way you entered.
We throughly LOVE every guest and treat them like family. Due to multiple guests, we encourage everyone to clean up after themselves.
