Come and enjoy this beautiful waterfront suite at the 38 MM on the west side of Lake of The Ozark’s. ( It is on the same property as my other VRBO Whiskey Barrel Bunkhouse) This is a one bedroom, one bath that sleeps six with a queen size bed and a hide a bed in the bedroom and a futon in the sunroom. It has great swimming in a no wake cove with lots of outdoor seating on and around a private martini deck. Enjoy the awesome sunsets from the mom-and-pop rockers on the side patio. Relax on the dock sitting area while taking in the cool breeze off the water. Take a soak in the private hot tub just outside the door off the martini deck and enjoy the Bear Bottoms Saturday night fireworks show. Fantastic views from every room and every outdoor area.

Lakefront Recreation
Enjoy the two paddle boards, two kayaks, paddle boat, floatie noodles, saddles and the 16-foot Lily Pad.
Boat trailer parking is no problem. It has room on the side of our dock for a boat up to 40’. The boat dock with bumpers and tie-offs is free of charge with suite rental. The three-well dock is shared with the other rental and ourselves. A boat ramp is located in at 27 Lighthouse Marina Rd. 38MM Three minutes away. All roads are paved leading into our rental and boat ramp area.

Interior Amenities
Suite has a full kitchen and there is a gas grill on the deck. There are two televisions, (with Hulu and Netflix) two indoor sitting areas and one indoor dining table. Enjoy your morning coffee while working remote, (yes, we have Wi-Fi) There is 3/4 of an almost all level acre here, (no long steep stairs) with a gradual concrete walk to your private entrance.

Other Fun Things To Do While You’re Here
Come swim, fish, float, grill, cook, or visit all the favorite restaurants the west side has to offer. Make smores and hotdogs at the waters’ edge firepit. Bring your fishing pole, life jackets and gear. There is plenty of seating on the swim deck and around the dock. Enjoy quiet evening and morning walks with ease.
Grocery, fuel, and fresh produce stand are right up the road. You don’t have to go far for just about anything you could need or want. I live on site above the rental and am usually on site to help with anything that you need. Please note that i do have two dogs and a cat on the premises in case you are allergic. The pets occasionally frequent the Suite during cleaning and maintenance but not regularly. Please see house rules for more details.

What makes Powell Lakehouse different than our competitors? We take pride in the little details. Many amenities, a hot tub for two, newly remodeled, and all new landscaping. In May 2017 we got hit by a F-1 tornado, and have poured our life savings into upgrading and putting in luxurious amenities such as a brand new concrete dock with a large swim platform, wet step ladder, and lounge area with modern outdoor wicker furniture. We have installed a 2 person hot tub on the deck for stargazing and great views of the lake. We extended the deck 3 feet closer to the lake and added a covered patio area. The lakefront has been terraced for unobstructed views of the lake, easy access to the dock, and evening views of the sunset. There is a fire pit area lakeside too.

Upgraded to 1G WiFi with CoMo Connect Internet and a Tri-Band router you to handle video conference calls, streaming, and stay connected while on vacation.

The master bed has new 500 thread count, Egyptian cotton sheets, and a new comforter. We supply the items others do not like beach towels, spices in the kitchen, coffee/tea, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, bug spray, toiletries, flashlights, etc. We have upgraded to 50 gal hot water tank, and have an outdoor shower to rinse off the lake water. Powell Lakehouse is the perfect vacation home for a luxurious, romantic getaway, couples retreat, girls weekend, or small group.

The lake view and location is amazing! This vacation rental home is completely remodeled inside and out and located on the 8mm in Buck Creek Cove, Sunrise Beach, MO. This cozy lake cottage has 2 BR (Queen bed in the Master, and a Kid Bunk bed with another twin bed, sleeping 3 in the 2nd BR). In April 2019, we replaced all the carpet in the bedrooms and the living room along with buying a larger brand new couch and installing a larger flat screen TV! In 2025, we painted the inside, updated the lighting, and purchased all new outdoor furniture. Fully furnished with linens and towels provided. Comfortable hotel-quality robes provided Guests. Kitchen is well equipped for any cook and there is a new dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, crock pot, toaster oven, ice maker, and much more! Washer and Dryer are located in the one bathroom. Indoor and outdoor showers on site. Located right on the waterfront with a pier and swim dock in deep water cove. Deep water cove (25+ feet under the dock), 2 kayaks, a paddle board, numerous rafts and water toys, and a large floating lily pad mat. It does get rough in the summer for keeping your boat here so we suggest in the Summer Peak Season to swim, float, and kayak or just enjoy the lake view. We do manage other properties with no wake coves and boat docks if you want to bring a boat in the summer and can give you those property addresses to rent those properties instead. Smart TV in 2 rooms and free wi-fi on site. There is even an outdoor fire pit area for roasting marshmallows as well as an indoor wood-burning fireplace.

Weekend (3 night minimum during Peak season) and weekly rentals available all year round. Close to HWY 5, near the toll bridge, for easy access to the other side of the lake. Quiet neighborhood. No parties. Paved road the entire way from Hwy 5 to the house where you have off street parking on a new concrete driveway. No pets allowed. Maximum is 5 people! Super calm water in the no wake portion of a larger cove. Close to the incredible Franky and Louie's beach and restaurant (In same cove). Boat and jetski rentals available at Franky and Louis. This is the vacation spot. You wont find a better location. Lots of outdoor seating/furnishing. A nice propane grill is provided. The house has a washer and dryer, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, k-pod coffee maker, full size fridge and freezer. Ample parking. Boat ramp 1-2 minutes away. You will love it!

The dock provided endless fun: caught tons of brim, bass, catfish, swam and enjoyed the slide and diving platform, played on lilypad, skiied, tubed, and kneeboarded in the cove behind our boat, mastered paddle boarding and kayaking. Adults especially appreciated the comfy seating and plentiful shade on the dock. Owner was super responsive and easy to work with. It was a perfect week for our extended family vacation!"

Additionally, there are two fold-out chairs downstairs that can sleep 2 people, and a futon that can sleep 1 or 2 people.
Multiple couches are available for additional sleeping arrangements.
In total, you can sleep up to 20 people in this home, with various bed options and additional sleeping spaces.

Furthermore, the house features a large and beautiful dock, perfect for swimming, fishing, and boat watching. If you're interested in water activities, there's a toy shed available with water toys, life jackets, and floaties. Note that an additional deposit is required for the use of the toy shed.

We are ONLY dog friendly. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests a non-refundable fee of $150 per reservation will be charged to cover additional cleaning costs. Pet fees are NOT included in the original reservation price or room rate provided. Any applicable pet fees will be added to your reservation MANUALLY and charged AFTER booking.
If you do not honor our pet policy (dog only disclosure) you will be fined $300.
Strict NO SMOKING policy. If you smoke inside you will be fined $250.
We are not responsible for items left behind by guests. If you leave an item behind and you want it to be sent back to you. We charge $25 for that item to be shipped plus the shipping costs.
Any stay greater than 21 days will require an additional long term cleaning fee of $50 that will be MANUALLY charged after reservation confirmation.
An unapproved late check-out fine is $50.

Designated parking (up to 4 vehicles). We can also recommend nearby storage facilities to rent space for boat trailers or overflow parking.

If you are wanting to swim it can be rough, especially on the weekends, with all the boats. The names of other safer swimming locations are provided. There are good lake bar/restaurants close by boat and car. If you plan to go shopping, need groceries or do other activities, plan accordingly. There is a toll bridge to get to the house. Overall, good location for a relaxing and fun lake weekend."

"The Creek Cove Cabin" is a 1950's lake front cabin that has been completely renovated yet still has that retro charm. The Cabin is located in Brush Creek cove at the 38mm. Conveniently located close to grocery, shopping, restaurants, Ozark's International Raceway, and The LOOP by black top on the LOTO Westside. By water it is close to Premier Advantage Marine, Bear Bottoms Resort, Captain Ron's, and Big Dick's Halfway Inn. There is a private dock equipped with paddle boards and a float pad to swim off of or tie your boat up to. There is gravel parking space for a couple of cars and or a trailer. There is a boat ramp less than mile away at King's Pointe Resort and RV Resort for a small fee.

Enjoy a spacious two-level layout, TVs in essentially every room and spectacular views of the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks!Enter the foyer and find a sitting room with 5 chairs and a short table overlooking the deck and pool area.

To your left you'll find a 10-top gorgeous wood dining table, before you continue on into the living room and kitchen areas. The living room features a large sectional, plus 4 comfortable chairs and a large flatscreen TV. The kitchen offers an oversized island with 3 bar stools for additional seating. Enjoy the large gas range with oven. Plus, an additional electric oven and microwave. The refrigerator has an in-door ice maker, and there are two additional beverage drawers to keep your drinks cool. Small appliances galore, including an espresso machine.

Off the kitchen area, you'll find the first master bedroom featuring a king size bed, large flatscreen TV and en suite bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo. Down that same hall you'll find the garage access. With the garage and the driveway, there's plenty of parking. There's even a basketball goal in the driveway, and a sitting area on the front porch featuring 4 rockers and 2 benches.

On the other side of the main level, you'll find the other master bedroom. This one features a king bed, huge 100" flatscreen TV, gas fireplace and huge en suite bathroom. This bathroom features a double vanity, jetted tub and huge walk-in shower, plus a large walk-in closet. Next to this bedroom is a kid’s room featuring toys, games, a TV and sitting area.

Head upstairs to find another master bedroom with king bed, large flatscreen TV and en suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and double vanity. On this side of the upper level you'll also find the cozy office space with stunning views of the water from the large windows. Next to the office is a weight room. You also have access to a stack washer and dryer in the hall and another full bathroom featuring a shower. Wander on over to the other side of the upper level, where you'll find a large family room with sectional, gas fireplace, large flatscreen TV and a 4-top table. This room opens up to the upper-level deck area featuring a 6-top table, wet bar with sink and double drink drawers. Take the spiral staircase down to the lower deck and pool area.

Back inside off the family room, you'll find the bunk room featuring two twin over twin bunk beds and a flatscreen TV. Next to the bunk room is a full bathroom featuring a shower. Continue down that hall to find another bedroom featuring a queen bed and flatscreen TV, plus another bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Finally, you'll come to the final master bedroom featuring a king bed, flatscreen TV and en suite bathroom with a shower.

Outdoors off the kitchen you'll find the screened-in deck featuring a gas BBQ grill area and 4-top table. Step outside the screened-in area to find a 6-top table and a 2-top shorter table under the covered part of the patio, with an additional 4-top table uncovered. Head over to the pool area, where there's plenty of space to sunbathe on one of the 6 loungers. There's also a swing and another 4-top table. Take in the view from the outdoor pool overlooking the water. Head down a few stairs to the hot tub area, also overlooking the water.

Next door you'll find the pool house! Here you'll find large sliders on two sides of the building that open all the way up for an open-air game room and bar area. There are 12 bar stools sitting around the kitchen area that's complete with a stove top, oven, microwave, dishwasher, sink, mini fridge and ice maker. There's also a full-size refrigerator next to the Juke Box! Try your hand at the Tiki Toss game, Ping Pong, Foosball or Billiards!

Outside on the covered patio area is a 6-top table, and moving out to the uncovered patio area is a couch and two chairs around a firepit. Off to the side is a small rock-climbing wall for the children to play on! Back inside the pool house you'll find a half bath off the game area and on the back side, you'll find a bedroom with king size bed, flatscreen TV and stack washer and dryer. The bathroom next to it features a walk-in shower. There's also a kitchenette with full size refrigerator, stove, mini dishwasher, Keurig and toaster.

On your way down to the large dock, you'll find a sitting area around a firepit overlooking the Lake. Take a seat on one of the outdoor couches or hang out in the hammock! Down on the dock, there's a 16x50 boat slip available for use during your stay. On the other side of the dock, you'll find two jet ski lifts. Take a dip in the lake off one of the two ladders or plunge into the lake from the diving platform. If swimming in the lake is not your thing, there are 4 nice Adirondack chairs or a 2-top table you can sit at. The wave breaks make it nice to enjoy the views of the main channel without experiencing all the wake!
