Come and enjoy this beautiful waterfront suite at the 38 MM on the west side of Lake of The Ozark’s. ( It is on the same property as my other VRBO Whiskey Barrel Bunkhouse) This is a one bedroom, one bath that sleeps six with a queen size bed and a hide a bed in the bedroom and a futon in the sunroom. It has great swimming in a no wake cove with lots of outdoor seating on and around a private martini deck. Enjoy the awesome sunsets from the mom-and-pop rockers on the side patio. Relax on the dock sitting area while taking in the cool breeze off the water. Take a soak in the private hot tub just outside the door off the martini deck and enjoy the Bear Bottoms Saturday night fireworks show. Fantastic views from every room and every outdoor area.

Lakefront Recreation
Enjoy the two paddle boards, two kayaks, paddle boat, floatie noodles, saddles and the 16-foot Lily Pad.
Boat trailer parking is no problem. It has room on the side of our dock for a boat up to 40’. The boat dock with bumpers and tie-offs is free of charge with suite rental. The three-well dock is shared with the other rental and ourselves. A boat ramp is located in at 27 Lighthouse Marina Rd. 38MM Three minutes away. All roads are paved leading into our rental and boat ramp area.

Interior Amenities
Suite has a full kitchen and there is a gas grill on the deck. There are two televisions, (with Hulu and Netflix) two indoor sitting areas and one indoor dining table. Enjoy your morning coffee while working remote, (yes, we have Wi-Fi) There is 3/4 of an almost all level acre here, (no long steep stairs) with a gradual concrete walk to your private entrance.

Other Fun Things To Do While You’re Here
Come swim, fish, float, grill, cook, or visit all the favorite restaurants the west side has to offer. Make smores and hotdogs at the waters’ edge firepit. Bring your fishing pole, life jackets and gear. There is plenty of seating on the swim deck and around the dock. Enjoy quiet evening and morning walks with ease.
Grocery, fuel, and fresh produce stand are right up the road. You don’t have to go far for just about anything you could need or want. I live on site above the rental and am usually on site to help with anything that you need. Please note that i do have two dogs and a cat on the premises in case you are allergic. The pets occasionally frequent the Suite during cleaning and maintenance but not regularly. Please see house rules for more details.

What makes Powell Lakehouse different than our competitors? We take pride in the little details. Many amenities, a hot tub for two, newly remodeled, and all new landscaping. In May 2017 we got hit by a F-1 tornado, and have poured our life savings into upgrading and putting in luxurious amenities such as a brand new concrete dock with a large swim platform, wet step ladder, and lounge area with modern outdoor wicker furniture. We have installed a 2 person hot tub on the deck for stargazing and great views of the lake. We extended the deck 3 feet closer to the lake and added a covered patio area. The lakefront has been terraced for unobstructed views of the lake, easy access to the dock, and evening views of the sunset. There is a fire pit area lakeside too.

Upgraded to 1G WiFi with CoMo Connect Internet and a Tri-Band router you to handle video conference calls, streaming, and stay connected while on vacation.

The master bed has new 500 thread count, Egyptian cotton sheets, and a new comforter. We supply the items others do not like beach towels, spices in the kitchen, coffee/tea, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, bug spray, toiletries, flashlights, etc. We have upgraded to 50 gal hot water tank, and have an outdoor shower to rinse off the lake water. The lake view and location is amazing! This vacation rental home is completely remodeled inside and out and located on the 8mm in Buck Creek Cove, Sunrise Beach, MO. This cozy lake cottage has 2 BR (Queen bed in the Master, and a Kid Bunk bed with another twin bed, sleeping 3 in the 2nd BR). In April 2019, we replaced all the carpet in the bedrooms and the living room along with buying a larger brand new couch and installing a larger flat screen TV! In 2025, we painted the inside, updated the lighting, and purchased all new outdoor furniture. Fully furnished with linens and towels provided. Comfortable hotel-quality robes provided Guests. Kitchen is well equipped for any cook and there is a new dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, crock pot, toaster oven, ice maker, and much more! Washer and Dryer are located in the one bathroom. Indoor and outdoor showers on site. Located right on the waterfront with a pier and swim dock in deep water cove. Deep water cove (25+ feet under the dock), 2 kayaks, a paddle board, numerous rafts and water toys, and a large floating lily pad mat. It does get rough in the summer for keeping your boat here so we suggest in the Summer Peak Season to swim, float, and kayak or just enjoy the lake view. We do manage other properties with no wake coves and boat docks if you want to bring a boat in the summer and can give you those property addresses to rent those properties instead. Smart TV in 2 rooms and free wi-fi on site. There is even an outdoor fire pit area for roasting marshmallows as well as an indoor wood-burning fireplace.

Weekend (3 night minimum during Peak season) and weekly rentals available all year round. Close to HWY 5, near the toll bridge, for easy access to the other side of the lake. Quiet neighborhood. No parties. Paved road the entire way from Hwy 5 to the house where you have off street parking on a new concrete driveway. No pets allowed. Maximum is 5 people! Super calm water in the no wake portion of a larger cove. Close to the incredible Franky and Louie's beach and restaurant (In same cove). Boat and jetski rentals available at Franky and Louis. This is the vacation spot. You wont find a better location. Lots of outdoor seating/furnishing. A nice propane grill is provided. The dock provided endless fun: caught tons of brim, bass, catfish, swam and enjoyed the slide and diving platform, played on lilypad, skiied, tubed, and kneeboarded in the cove behind our boat, mastered paddle boarding and kayaking. Adults especially appreciated the comfy seating and plentiful shade on the dock. Owner was super responsive and easy to work with. It was a perfect week for our extended family vacation!"

Furthermore, the house features a large and beautiful dock, perfect for swimming, fishing, and boat watching. If you're interested in water activities, there's a toy shed available with water toys, life jackets, and floaties. Note that an additional deposit is required for the use of the toy shed.

We are ONLY dog friendly. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests a non-refundable fee of $150 per reservation will be charged to cover additional cleaning costs. Pet fees are NOT included in the original reservation price or room rate provided. Any applicable pet fees will be added to your reservation MANUALLY and charged AFTER booking.
If you do not honor our pet policy (dog only disclosure) you will be fined $300.
Strict NO SMOKING policy. If you smoke inside you will be fined $250.
We are not responsible for items left behind by guests. If you leave an item behind and you want it to be sent back to you. We charge $25 for that item to be shipped plus the shipping costs.
Any stay greater than 21 days will require an additional long term cleaning fee of $50 that will be MANUALLY charged after reservation confirmation.
An unapproved late check-out fine is $50.

Welcome to The Cottage at Blue Cove Lane. This amazing property sits in the back of a quiet deep water cove which opens to the busy 18 mile marker of the Lake of the Ozarks. Talk about location! No waves back here, so it's perfect for the whole family. Exposed beam ceilings, huge rock fireplace, large screened porch, and a concrete and composite boat dock are all great features of this property.

The Cottage has been completely renovated! Note this amazing home sleeps up to 13, but NO MORE than 13 are permitted overnight.

The Cottage, with 3 bedrooms including a bunk room off the master, you can sleep the whole crowd. Newer granite kitchen and new appliances make this a cook's dream kitchen with a view! A Weber propane grill is provided for the outdoor cook. Gentle steps from the parking area for up to 4 vehicles, and practically flat walk to the dock.
