I had one day with beautiful snow and the next it was 60 degrees. It was a little strange they didn't have a microwave but they provide everything else you would need to cook your meals. Fairfield boat ramp just 3 miles away to launch your boat for fishing or boating, tubing and skiing, close to swimming area. Home has plenty of parking for vehicles and boats. There is a covered deck with grill on the back of the home, overlooking the fire-pit area and woods. If you enjoy nature, there is plenty to see and do. Just renovated kitchen, flooring, bathroom, appliances, and added Wi-Fi and 55” TV.
Cabin that is lost in the woods and just up the hill from great fishing on Truman Lake. Get away to a location that exudes peace and quiet. This cabin has been in our family for many years and is my recharge location to go to every April and November. Short 1/8 mile walk down the hill to the cove or a very short drive across the highway to Higgins Landing boat launch. 15 minutes drive to Iconium, or 30 minutes to Clinton or Warsaw. We only allow pets on a pre-approved basis and no hunting or shooting at the property, but be on the lookout in the creek gravels in the cove for arrowheads. This area was a main Indian trailhead and several arrowheads have been found in the immediate area around the cove. If you need to make cell phone calls, simply walk/drive back up to the highway (100 yards) or the little corner store at Z and ZZ Hwy (3 miles).

We want to rent in summer and again in the fall to see how beautiful it is in all the seasons:)" - "The first thing I did when I got there was I put on a horror movie of kids getting butchered to death by zombies in the woods. I just couldn't resist. It's really good if you have dogs because it is in the woods, but there is a fence around the property. The immediate area has been cleared so you get about 50-100 feet of space to move around before dense forest. The cabin itself is nice and has internet and tv and power and water. Again, this is a hunting cabin, so it's smaller, but everything is high quality. When I go to VRBO cabins, I make sure it is far from civilization, so I love the seclusion, but be warned that you are about 15 minutes from the city, so don't expect to "walk home from the bar". Finally, as with so many other VRBO address identifiers, the GPS takes you to the back end of the property, where there is no access. My advice is to contact the host and ask for a screenshot of the gate, and match that up with GPS. Finally, and this is very important, the front gate is almost unrecognizable until you are about 5 feet from it. So plan to arrive during the day. I would recommend to the host to install some solar power light to identify the gate."

Every cabinet is labeled, very cool bathroom mirror, bathroom stocked, a.d all rooms stocked with plenty of linens. We were not able to check oit much around the area, due to our meetings, but the coffee shop at the stop sign...is AMAZING!! i will be back, and i highly recommend."

NO WI-FI & I swear when I booked this it said WiFi, but after I messaged host the listing didn’t say WiFi. No ability to stream music/movies so our kid was bummed & any phone searching for dining or directions was real slow because only 1 bar for ATT. Host was fabulous! Quick to reply & very proactive & kind. We had limited options to house 4 adults needing 2 bedrooms, but this worked for our 2 night, 3 day stay. No central air, had 1 window unit in living room only, so very hot in the bedrooms at night & one adult slept in the recliner as a result. Lots of fans but in the summer that just blew the hot air around. We stayed in the living room anytime we were home. Loved the nicely shaded front yard, especially having a dog & we travelled with 2 boats, so ample parking next to the house! Sat night races extremely loud at this house, couldn’t be outside during."

It sits on 60 acres with walking paths and fire pit for enjoying sitting by the fire looking at stars! It has 2 king size beds in one bedroom and a living room converted to a Bunk house with two full on twin beds. There is a 75 inch T.V in main room and tv's in every room with internet and movie apps . We are 15 minutes from Clinton [for groceries] and 8 minutes away from Buck Saw Marina and 17 minutes from long shoal Marina ! If you are looking for privacy but close to the lake this is it! We also have public hunting land less then 5 minutes away if you are planning a hunting trip. Pets have plenty of room to run around also!

Just so you know, you can bring a long, heavy-duty extension cord to charge your boat batteries from an external home outlet. There is space on the property to park a 20' (or so) boat, as long as it doesn't obstruct shared driveway access for my neighbors. There is easy access to the lake with a boat ramp located less than a mile away down Snowman Lane.

- "I live in NWA and was looking for a nice weekend away with my family. This cabin was perfect, exactly what I wanted and everyone enjoyed the reset. Upon arrival I was greeted to a hello sign and info on the town. We actually ate out the first night. Local Mexican place. Good food and even better prices. The local grocery store has everything you need as well as a family dollar all just 10 mins from the cabin. The kitchen had all the necessities and the silverware is real silver! Thought that was a fun touch. The water had that well smell but it’s not bad and it’s filtered so we cooked with it however I brought a gallon for our coffee and drinking. The kitchen light switch is under the stairs. Beds were comfy and seating was good, perfect for my family of 5. The stairs are steep, my youngest is 3 but he’s used to stairs at home. If you have a tiny one keep that in mind. Roku TV and games available. My kids liked dice the best. The kids loved playing outside there is even a hammock to relax in. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch while the kids kicked around a soccer ball we brought from home. We had the boys collect sticks for the fire pit which they loved doing then after dinner built a fire and sat around roasting marshmallows listening to Christmas music. The pond was pretty and looks like you could fish, will have to try next time. The Wi-Fi is great and just reaches the fire pit. No cell service but we could iMessage family if needed. Highly recommend!"

Inside, the cabin is thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience:

✨ Kitchen: Fully stocked with essentials, including pots and pans, a coffee maker, cutting board, and knife—everything you need to prepare meals with ease.

🚿 Bathroom: Located just off the entryway, featuring a high-pressure shower to refresh after a day on the river. Complimentary conditioning shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer are provided for your convenience.

🛋️ Living Area: A cozy space with a pull-out sofa for extra sleeping arrangements, a comfortable chair, and hooks and storage for your belongings.

🛏️ Loft Bedroom: A snug retreat with beautiful views from above. Cabin 3 features a King Bed and Futon in the loft. Be aware the loft is accessible via steep stairs, but sturdy handrails ensure added stability.

Rich in history, Caplinger Mills is a beloved local destination for fishing, outdoor recreation, and exploring nature.

This Lodge is settled over a mile off of the main road and has a breath taking view of the Ozarks. It has a drive through building for vehicles that have trailers. The lodge has cedar siding inside and three bedrooms with two bathrooms. The bedrooms are equipped with Amish crafted bunk beds. The kitchen has a laundry room next to it and the upstairs bathroom has a jacuzzi in the tub. The kitchen has everything that would define a modern facility. This Lodge is an active outfitter facility that includes the fire pit and walkin cooler. The central air is new and the dish network will make your stay enjoyable. Please come and stay with us.
