Modern year round cottage set on 5 acres in Truro offers peace and quiet in a natural setting. Surrounded by thousands of acres of National Seashore, this property is perfect for hiking, biking or just wandering the back roads of the beautiful quaint outer cape. Just one mile to the stunning Longnook and Ballston ocean beaches. Bay beaches are a short car ride or bike away.

The cottage boast 2 queen size beds with tvs. The lower level room has its own entrance. First floor bathroom with standup tiled shower, living room with gas fireplace (seasonal), A/C / heat, and a leather sofa. The cottage is generously appointed with microwave, convection toaster oven, hot plate, electric frypan, small air fryer, Keurig and regular coffee makers, and grill with side burner on the outdoor deck. There is a full size refrigerator and apartment size dishwasher. As is the case with most studio/cottages in Truro, we cannot have a full range due to zoning restrictions. There is a large enclosed outdoor shower. New front load washer and dryer are also in the lower level for your use.

So whether its the springtime awakening, the summers sun, the fall changes or winters snow we can’t wait for you to fall in love with everything Truro has to offer. May it start with morning coffee on the sun filled deck, listening to birdsong, taking a short walk to longnook farms to gather yummy freshness for dinner, or making reservations at one of the delicious local restaurants.

This property is off of Old Kings Highway which is a meandering dirt way. The cottage is at the beginning of our driveway which is approximately 1/4 mile from our home so we are able to answer any questions you have or meet any of your needs promptly, but without being intrusive. The property is surrounded by the stunning National Seashore, so it is very private and tranquil. There are trails that lead to the beautiful Ballston and Longnook ocean beaches. Truro center with Jams market is less than a mile away and boasts great sandwiches for a picnic lunch or visit the weekly Truro Farmers Market on the town green. Savory & Sweet Escape and Montanos are two local eateries which are open year round if you decide to come when things wind down to a slower pace. Truro also is home to Highland Links Golf Course, Truro Vineyards, Payomet Performing Arts, Highland Lighthouse and the Truro Center for Arts. Provincetown is a 15 minute car ride north, a town rich in history, art, and food. Wellfleet is a 6 minute car ride away, is home to Wellfleet Oyster Festival.... it has many restaurants to boast about including the Wicked Oyster, Macs and the renowned farm to table Ceraldi, which will be a culinary experience to remember.

Enjoy all the comforts of our modern home in the breathtaking Truro Hills. Ideally situated just minutes from Provincetown, Pamet Harbor, and the Cape Cod National Seashore, our home is the perfect getaway for family and friends. The house is newly refurnished, includes an A/C in the main living area, featuring 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms with queen beds, an additional den with a double bed, and outdoor shower. Take in the sunset and gentle breezes on the expansive, multi-level deck, or relax in the large open concept living space.

The space:
Comfortable indoor furniture, kitchen supplies, linens, and towels. There is high-speed wireless internet and cable TV, along with AC in the main living area. The kitchen has a gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine and a large island for preparing meals. There is an additional full size refrigerator/freezer downstairs. There is a new Weber gas grill outside on the deck, along with a new outdoor dining set and lounge chairs. There are also new cushioned chairs, loveseats, and coffee tables on the extended octangular deck, with pristine views of the Truro Hills and Cape Cod Bay in the distance. There is an outdoor shower on the lower level, along with a washer and dryer. We provide linens, pillows, and towels.

Guest access:
Guests can access the main living area of the house without having to climb any stairs. There is a short staircase to the den and second master bedroom on the lower level. There is a garage studio located some distance from the house but this is off limits to renters. The owners store boats in this garage, and may need access to the building from time to time.

This spacious four-bedroom home is an ideal setting for a relaxing Cape Cod vacation. Close to Longnook Beach on Truro's ocean side and nestled in a wooded two-acre lot, the secluded property has a heated in-ground pool--you may never even go to the beach!

Enter an open and bright main living space with cathedral ceiling. This space contains the living room, dining area and kitchen. The living room has comfortable seating, a ceiling fan and a slider that leads to a wonderful screen porch, a relaxing spot for a good book or a cup of coffee. The living room opens to the kitchen and dining area. The well-equipped kitchen has a double-wall oven, dishwasher and breakfast bar. The dining area has a large table and chairs. A slider leads to the deck, yard and pool area beyond. There is also a half bath on this floor. There is a 2ton mini split that cools this floor.

The master, the first of the home's four bedrooms is on the first floor. The master has a queen bed, ceiling fan, an ensuite bathroom with separate shower and jetted tub and a slider leading to the upper deck. The master has a window air conditioner.

Stairs from the living room lead to the lower level. The family room has comfortable seating and a flat screen TV with cable. A slider leads to the lower deck. On one side of the family room is a bedroom with queen bed, slider to the lower deck and an ensuite bathroom with shower. On the other side of the family room are two more bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and slider to the lower deck and the other has a pyramid bunk bed (twin on top, full on bottom) and a twin trundle (two twins). There is also a full bathroom with double sink and tub/shower on this side. The two Queen rooms have AC. All three bedrooms in the lower level have a ceiling fan.

Relax on the upper and lower mahogany decks. Follow the path through the nicely landscaped yard to the pool area with plenty of seating. Cook up dinner on the gas grill and eat out on the patio with dining table and chairs by the pool.

Comforts include heated pool, unenclosed outdoor shower, gas grill, cable, WiFi, washer/dryer, ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms and A/C (3 of 4 bedrooms).

Secluded and private, the home is a little less than two miles to Longnook Beach on Truro's ocean side. - "The property is on a hill surrounded by trees. The rooms are all spacious. The main floor has high ceilings with many windows which allow for wind-cooled days and nights. There's a screened porch which offers separation from the main floor. The pool is great option if you're not up for the beach, or if you want to cool off after the beach. - "We loved our week at the cottage. The owner has decorated the tiny and sweet Cottage beautifully paying attention to the rustic nature of the place but using lovely visual touches. The kitchen is well equipped. The only two things to be aware of is that the walk to the beach is a past the cottages through a small parking lot and down many stairs. We didn’t have a problem with this, but if there are mobility issues… it’s a lot of stairs. But what an amazing beach! Totally perfect. The only other issue to be aware of is that the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. So going to the bathroom at night is a little adventurous. We were ok with it since we loved this place so much but it can be tricky at night on the wooden stairs. I had brought battery operated small “candles” to help me see my way at night on the stairs and that helped."

Located one mile from spectacular Longnook Beach, this home provides a delightful walk or bike ride any time of day. As an alternative, it is a 10-minute ride to Corn Hill Beach on the bay-side and a secluded woodland walk at the end of Higgins Hollow Road.

Ceiling fans take the edge off a hot summer day, and radiant heat offers glorious warmth during chilly fall and winter weather. The home has 2 bedrooms, a futon for guest sleep overs, an indoor bathroom (tub & shower), and outdoor shower. It is fully winterized for year round use and includes a full complement of new kitchen appliances, an indoor dining area, and living room. There is a full basement with beach chairs and umbrellas, and a washer and dryer (laundry soap provided). For those who prefer drying their clothes in the fresh air, there is an outdoor clothesline.

This home is an ideal blend of indoors and out. The home’s cathedral ceilings, many windows, and open floor plan add a sense of openness and light to each room. During the warm months, the spacious screened in porch has tables and comfortable chairs that provide the perfect place to start the day with a cup of tea or coffee while serenaded by song birds. The upstairs bedroom has windows and a skylight, a large bureau, and pegs for hanging items.. It is set up as two twin beds, but can be configured as a king if requested ahead of time.

Two bedroom, sleeps four to five people, fifth person additional $100 per night. Split air conditioners, Newly remodeled, pitched ceilings with fans, 2 remote sky windows. New outdoor cedar enclosed shower. Occasional furniture in front of the house. Close to bay and ocean .
5 minute ride to the ocean side. Access to four different beaches. Close to Light house, Truro Vineyards, (2 Minutes) restaurant's, entertainment, art galleries, fishing, whale and seal watching, and historic tours.
