Our American Foursquare was renovated in 2023 and is located in the historic and sought-after Summerville neighborhood, known for its eclectic architecture. It has antique doorknobs, period appropriate lighting, original old-growth forest flooring, and a tiny art gallery for your enjoyment.

Both bedrooms have decorative fireplaces with original tile, warm hardwood floors, and Wire cutter-recommended mattresses and pillows.

There are two lovely coffee shops within a mile where you can grab a bite and sit or work a while. Across from each of those are restaurants with great cocktails, food, and atmosphere. There is plenty of on-site parking, and the neighbors are quiet.

It saddens us to say that no animals of any kind are permitted on the property. We are aware of the value of service animals as well as the happiness of owning one. However, the home is strictly allergy-free because the host is allergic to animal hair and dander. There are no exceptions to this rule, as any animal on the property poses a severe health hazard to the host.

You have access to the entire downstairs unit, the back deck, and the front porch. On-site parking is plentiful and free. Street parking is free. There is a public bus stop about .75 miles away, but it comes infrequently. You'll need a car when staying at this property.

High Meadows Cottage is a peaceful retreat, private 450 square foot studio style cottage set back from the road and surrounded by majestic pine trees.

Walk out from the cottage and enjoy the 16 acres of private property including a private stocked fishing pond ready for you to fish or just enjoy the view. This cottage is one of the 3 cottages that we have in this property. Just minutes from a super Kroger, Walmart, Applebee’s, Longhorn steakhouse, Diablo, Alde’s, Fiveguys and many other restaurants.
Kitchen is stocked with all the necessities, plus complimentary coffee, tea, sugar and creamer.

We strictly adhere to our cancelation policy. We suggest that you purchase travel insurance.

We do have a private fishing pond on the property for our guests only. The pond is stocked with bass and bream. But Recently the water has gotten muddy due to rain and construction in the neighboring property. We are waiting for it to settle again and clear. Guests may bring fishing poles and enjoy fishing, but we cannot guarantee that guests will catch fish. Many wild deer are visiting our 16 acre property in the evenings and early mornings. They graze on the Many Deer are visiting this property during the day. They come and go as they wish. They graze in the pastures and drink from the pond . A variety of birds such as Blue jays, Cardinals, owls, hawks, hummingbirds, Woodpeckers... nested in our wooded areas in the property that we enjoy watching and listening to them.

For health reasons, dogs are not allowed to swim in fishing pond or drink from it (please see the Arial picture of the property for the fishing pond location). dogs must be on leash when they are outside.

Our maximum length of stay is 3 weeks. All inquiries for longer than 3 weeks will be declined.

National Hills is an older established neighborhood located approximately 4 miles from downtown Augusta, approximately 5 miles from North Augusta, and less than 2 minutes from the Augusta National Golf Club where the annual Masters Tournament is held in April each year. We are in a quiet section of the neighborhood that is located very close to the Augusta Canal where you can access the Augusta Canal towpath by entering at Eisenhower Park. The Augusta Canal towpath is flat and an easy walk from the house. It provides views of the Savannah River, Augusta Canal, and abundant wildlife.

There is room to park two cars in the driveway and street parking is also allowed in case you need to park a moving truck or additional vehicles during your stay.

Cozy home that has plenty of parking and has been professionally decorated to include seating areas in both bedrooms. There is a work area in the great room, a laundry area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The first bedroom provides a king bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed.

You will be staying in the left side of our duplex which was JUST renovated top to bottom. You will enjoy a family room with HDTV, sofa bed, and a pub-style table. The bedroom welcomes you with a queen bed, 2nd HDTV, closet, and dresser! The brand new kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher, stove, microwave, Kuerig coffee maker (with coffee and cream), and full-sized refrigerator. Everything in this home is brand new and ready for your comfort including a washer/dryer.

A separate tenant stays on the right side, we do ask that you do not bother them and please respect their privacy. Water and coffee are always provided along with all the essentials you might need for short or long-term stays! The full-time tenant uses the driveway on the right side of the home, the driveway on the left side of the home belongs to our neighbors. We ask that you please park in front of the home on the street.

I am always available through the Airbnb app with an extremely high response rate! I do my best to respond immediately depending on my current availability.

Buona Cafe is a great coffee shop just 1.2 miles away off Central Ave. Directly across the street from the coffee shop is Southbound Smokehouse, one of my favorite BBQ joints, and I love BBQ! We are convenient to Augusta National which is just 4.1 miles away. The medical schools are nearby along with the VA hospital which is easily within walking distance just a couple of blocks away.

Uber is always available and the bus line runs nearby as well.

1. There are cameras covering the driveway and entryway that record only during motion detection. The Driveway camera is used to verify the number of guests that enter the home, to check when guests arrive and leave for cleaning purposes and for the general safety and protection for crimes that may be committed on the property.

2. Parties, events, or gatherings of any kind are NOT ALLOWED without prior approval. Use the Contact Host button to contact us before you book as no refunds will be given if you book and then don't get approved! Approval is contingent upon the following terms:
• A refundable $500 deposit must be submitted. Upon satisfactory post-stay inspection, the deposit will be returned minus any damages.
• All guests must be included on the reservation guest count, whether or not they stay the night.
• Only 2 vehicles will be allowed, due to street parking laws and HOA regulations. All additional guests must arrive via carpool, uber, shuttle, ect.

If you misuse our home, you will be charged a $200 fee to pay the HOA fine and $1000 if law enforcement is called.

3. We verify how many guests enter and stay in the home. If you have misrepresented the number of guests on your reservation, you will be charged extra. Please alter your reservation immediately to correct guest counts on your reservation and be charged appropriately.

4. THIS HOUSE IS NON SMOKING. This includes cigarettes, marijuana, and any other substances that create smoke or vapor. If the cleaners arrive and detect a smoky odor of any kind, you will be charged an additional $100 to remove the odor.

5. Street Parking is NOT permitted. If you have extra vehicles, DO NOT park on our grass or line our street with your vehicles. Please park them in a public parking lot elsewhere and carpool to the house. This is a residential neighborhood. If you park vehicles on the street, you may be charged a $100 fee to pay the HOA fine.

6. Our home is thoughtfully furnished for your comfort. Please treat our things as if they are your own. You are responsible for all furnishings during your stay. If you break, misplace, throw away, steal, or permanently stain anything, you WILL be charged for it, and we inventory everything before and after every stay.

• Our white towels are for drying your bodies only.
• Please use our makeup towels for makeup removal.
• Eat and Drink in the bedrooms at your own risk.
• If you have kids, we recommend using your own blankets, as our white comforters are expensive to replace.

7. While we allow up to 6 guests in this Unit Rental, this home only has sleeping and eating accommodations for 4. You are expected to bring your own accommodations for additional guests.
