- "Fishing good " - "We had a great weekend getaway at the cabin. Stayed with two teens, one 9 year-old, and our small dog. Rick met us right away upon arrival to give us the keys and take us on a quick run-through of the property. The cabin was very clean and recently updated. AC and fans worked very well. Direct TV was available in the living room and one bedroom. We enjoyed fishing off the boat dock and the old bar/grill dock. The grounds are well-kept. We didn't get a chance to swim in the pool, but it was very clean and constantly being attended to. The location is quiet, yet close enough to easily grab supplies or something to eat. Best of all, there is a great rental place (Water Trix) a minute away with boat, jet ski, and kayak rentals. Overall, for the price, this was well worth it."

Grand Lake o' the Cherokees is situated in Northeast Oklahoma, nestled in the foothills of the Ozark Mountain Range. It is often simply called Grand Lake. It is administered by the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA).
