The enormous open living space features a cooks paradise kitchen with commercial range with a griddle and double ovens. The island offers bar seating for 4 and dining table seats 8. The living room area provides an oversized sofa that seats 8 comfortably and 70" TV. Adjacent to the living room is a gameroom with a pool table with ping pong top as well as a dartboard. Flip the ping pong top and pull out the benches from beneath the pool table and it serves as an additional table for 6 - 8 more people.

The bedroom spaces are ideal for extended family bookings or long term stays. Three bedrooms feature private ensuite baths with walk in showers huge walk in closets. The Master Bedroom features a king bed and incredible bathroom huge closet and walk in shower with rain showerhead. The lower bedroom sleeps 4 with queen and full beds. The upper level suite sleeps 7 with a Queen bed, two twin sized hide-a-bed oversized chairs and bunk beds in the adjacent bunk room.

This is a 2nd floor apartment with 23 steps to climb in order to access the space. This well appointed space is well worth the climb.

This Historic Downtown building in beautiful Fort Scott, Kansas was built in 1878. Originally a one story building, the second floor was added in 1891 as a Bordello. The fully remodeled 2000 square foot second story loft is within walking distance to 10 or more restaurants, fine boutiques, shops, and an art gallery. It is located across from the National Historic Fort site built in 1842. The 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom open floor plan features a fully equipped kitchen, 98” TV, and game table.

The space
The building is located in the hub of the downtown area, with easy access to eating, shopping and touring interesting aspects of our beautiful city.

The outside wall of the building features a mural painted by internationally noted artist, Cbabi Bayoc, dedicated to the brave men of the First Kansas Colored Infantry Regiment, who were mustered in on the Parade Ground at the Fort.

The spacious living area’s seating is perfect for enjoying the 98” smart tv for all your favorite shows or games. The adjoining kitchen features a large island and bar area with seating,  as well as a handcrafted table and benches in the dining area. The sofa table with seating was created by the same craftsman.

One bedroom features a king-size bed with windows overlooking Main Street, with a queen-size bed in the second bedroom.  Both rooms have a closet. There is a futon in the living area which makes into a regular size bed, and also a couch if you need extra. One bathroom includes a tub and shower combination. The extra large bath with a walk in shower, also houses a washer and dryer unit for your use.

This is an upstairs loft so there are 21 steps with a handrail, to access the unit.   One of the many benefits of being upstairs, is that the 15 windows surrounding the loft provide spectacular views of the National Fort, downtown shopping, the dining district, and Farmer’s Market. There is a seasonal Splash Pad and Ice Skating rink nearby and the Christmas lighting is absolutely spectacular. Make yourself at home and enjoy all that downtown Fort Scott has to offer.
