Our city park is located on the banks of the Finley River, which is where a boat can be put in. There are lots of great rivers in the area, although they are typically slow moving, boat rentals are available.

It has seen emense growth in the last 10 years.
Located in the Ozark Mountains, The Mark Twain National Forest backs up to Ozark and surrounds the area.
Great local hiking is at the Busick state park just 8 miles south of Ozark. Beautiful wild flowers and creeks a great place for mushroom hunting and observing wildlife it's a relaxing getaway.
Ozark is 20 Miles north of Branson, and just 6 miles south of Springfield,

- "The second floor loft was comfortable and interesting in a good way. Lots of people watching from the tall windows and still felt private. The beds were comfortable and being a light sleeper, I came prepared with earplugs but I could see how the sound machine could have been useful. Glad they seemed to think things through well for all types of people. This would be a great spot for multi family, couples or any 2-4 group. There’s plenty of space. We absolutely loved the Mexican restaurant down the street, La Paraiso! Brewco beer was good too! There’s plenty of food options downtown. We liked the central location and even adventured out with our bicycles to the greenway trails that aren’t too far. Bass Pro was insanely huge, but fascinating people watching. Route 66 history is interesting but we didn’t have time for that this round. Maybe next time. Great communication from the management about questions we had."

Down the hall the living room the walls are covered in original brick and the floors are clad with reclaimed wood. The large, granite peninsula draws you into the kitchen where stainless steel appliances offer an opportunity to eat in if you choose to forgo the plethora of restaurants located on the streets below. Relax on the living room couch covered in mustard yellow velvet and enjoy your favorite show on the flat-screen TV! Or open the back door and step out onto the balcony, where just over the iron railing are the street of downtown Springfield buzzing with endless options for entertainment.

Relax in a nearly century old home with basement apartment with private keyless entrance. You are 2 minutes away from downtown shops and restaurants, MSU and Phelps Grove Park is only a block away. We are 5 minutes from Mercy Hospital & 10 min. from Cox South.

The space
Guests have own private entrance and private bath and kitchen. There are multiple musical instruments that you can play including a guitar, mandolin and ukulele. The room has large screen 50" smart LED TV. There is wifi, a microwave, full sized fridge and freezer, stove top and Keureg.
The bed is queen sized and features a memory foam mattress.
We do have two large Lab-mix dogs that are very loveable and friendly and they love to say hello!
The hosts do live above the basement apartment with two large dogs. It’s not soundproof and you will hear us walking and the dogs occasionally barking or walking around as well. We will do our best to not create any extra loud noises - especially at night.
Also - because it is a basement apartment, it does stay cool- temperature wise. The thermostat is upstairs in our living space but we are happy to adjust it if need be. We keep a high power space heater in then basement too in case you are chilly.

Parking is in our driveway outside the side entrance of the house on Holland Street.

Other things to note
Hosts are happy to provide info on local sights to see, nearly local restaurants and events. This is an older house and we are doing some remodeling projects inside and out- and are making improvements daily. We have the guest space cleaned professionally after each guest. The space
Convenient to everything in Springfield in the most charming neighborhood in town. Comfortable if you just want a quiet night in. Two level with the upstairs being a loft style bedroom. WiFi, games, movies provided. Fridge with juice and water, light snacks provided. *Additional guest fee for more than two guests*...oh, and there are stairs! Just a heads up in case walking up and down stairs is a challenge.

**For your safety and security - there is a motion activated flood light and camera located above the entry way to light the drive/parking area.** Private, full living quarters with your own entrance. Before you arrive you will be given your own private access code for your entry. Space is bolt locked and divided from main quarters. Park on the left side of the driveway.

**the kitchen area is a kitchenette**, it is not equipped with a stove top, but it has a dual burner for cooking. (it has a toaster, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster oven and coffee maker, dishes, flatware, utensils and pot/pan)

All furnishings in this fully-renovated building are new and modern or vintage Mid-Century Modern. Lots of natural light highlight original artwork and vintage decor to make your stay a stylish, unique experience. The couch in the living area pulls out to make a full-size bed for a third guest. On-site laundry facilities may be available upon request.
Front and back of the property are under RING video surveillance for your protection. There is no fenced-in yard, so pets would need to be leashed/walked. This unit is connected to a small hair salon next door and a studio apartment in the back.

In the heart of downtown, 307 S. Jefferson was built over 100 years ago as the Jefferson Hotel. This is the second floor rooms overlooking the street. There is one bedroom, a kitchen, living room with a TV and Steinway piano. All types of eating and drinking establishments and theaters are close within walking distance. It has it's own personal WiFi. Note: It is a 100 year old building with concrete floors, a rusty sink, a claw-foot tub and old wooden doors. NOT A HAMPTON INN!

Private master suite located steps away from charming Phelps Grove Park in quiet neighborhood. Central Springfield location conveniently located minutes away from MSU, Springfield Art Museum, Bass Pro/ Wonders of Wildlife, downtown Springfield, and Mercy Hospital. Located just 3 blocks from downtown Springfield, less than a mile from MSU and less than 2 miles to Bass Pro and Wonders of Wildlife -we are close to everything. Included is off street parking in the attached parking lot.

You will be staying in the original 1897 house. 2 other smaller apartments were built on over the years. There is a large parking lot attached to my property so if you need to park something big that can be arranged. Additionally there is fenced in back yard and BBQ Grill.

Our home is on a beautiful Phelps Grove Park with tennis courts, bike and walking paths, playground equipment, gardens, and The Springfield Art Museum. It is also near colleges, shopping, restaurants, and night life.

The space
Our apartment is meticulous, fashionably decorated, and conveniently located. We have all the amenities you will need to make a great visit. *Including a brand new mattress as of July 1, 2021.

We love animals and are pet friendly but require all pets to stay off the furniture at all times and they must be crated when you are not at the apartment. Please contact Alia before booking to agree to the rules and pay the pet fee.

Please keep in mind that the main house and yard are still under construction. We keep noise to a minimum but there may be supplies and projects going on during the day. :)
