- "I ended up having a mouse in the apartment, it pooped in a lot of the kitchen cabinets where dishes were stored. The problem was never properly addressed. When maintenance did come in they let them selves in with no warning and came when I wasn’t there. One walked in while I was home and was naked about to get in the shower and I had to run and get my robe and stop him from entering. They were given the keyless entry code. This is very unsafe and scary as I travel alone. The host also kept charging me cleaning fees and the apartment was not cleaned in between my weekly bookings. And he refused to answer my messages about a refund! Do not stay with any of his vrbos!!!! "

- "We were here to help our daughter move. The apartment is in the same complex which was very helpful. There is plenty to do if here for vacation. The two state parks we went to were fairly close and nice. There are many stores, a mall, and plenty of restaurants within a ten minute drive. Des Moines is 20-30 minutes."

- "As a result of the communications with the owner, I left my stay at this property feeling disrespected, insulted, and helpless. Not exactly the feeling I was hoping for during my family vacation. The apartment was exactly as pictured. It was clean and well equipped. Including a towel to wipe dog paws. There were even additional items we did not expect. A nice pack-n-play and blow up mattress. This made our stay very comfortable. If everything had worked perfectly and we didn’t have to reach out to the owner, then this would be a 5 star review. When we arrived to the property, we could not access the building. The code given would not work and no one would answer the emergency phone number with repeated attempts. We had nowhere to stay the first night. When the owner finally responded the next day, there was no apology. Instead we were accused of not being able to enter a code properly. We tried everything related to that code before bailing and finding a different place to stay with our family of five and dog. No small task. We gained access to the property on day two with a “back up” code. The owner has reluctantly offered a partial refund for the night that we were completely unable to access the property. Additionally, during our stay the Wi-Fi never worked. That meant no remote working and no Hulu entertainment. Several difficult interactions later, the owner told us that it was “out of his hands”. Even with video of these challenges, the owner would never admit fault nor fully remedy the situation. We will not be staying with this owner or the property group ever again. Too risky."
