Rent a bedroom in this peaceful apartment. The apartment is located next to the quiet Fox Run golf curse, meaning you have a wide open view from the front door. It is a beautiful, safe, walkable apartment complex with a bonus excercise room and outdoor swimming pool for the warm months.

It is centrally located, being a close 10 min drive to downtown Omaha and a similar 10 min drive to Bellevue, Nebraska (home of Offutt airforce base).

This basement apartment has its own entrance, full bedroom, designated office space, and plenty of room for relaxing. Feel free to pop right outside for a private patio, outdoor dining space, and a fire pit!

The space
This space in not childproof and, for this reason, infants/toddlers are not accepted. There is a "house notes" book on the table when you arrive that will give you many helpful tips for your stay.

Access will be from a separate entrance in the back. I will send detailed instructions, including the lock box code, about a day before your arrival.

Other things to note
This is a basement apartment and the ceiling is a little low. I am 5'11" and there is not a problem for me, however, at it's lowest spot, the ceiling is 6' from the floor so if you are over 6', there will be areas where you will need to duck down a bit. You can see those lower spots in the photos.

There are 2 single beds in the bedroom, they are trundle beds and one is underneath the other one. Friends, family, and many guests have stayed with me and commented that they are comfortable. These beds are 6' in length so if you are taller than 6', this could be a little short for you. There is also a folding couch bed and the mattress is new, but thin, as many couch beds are because it must be able to fold up in the couch. There is memory foam and/or an additional mattress that can be added upon request.

The space
We love our little oasis only minutes from so many places. Watching the birds and stars is always a great way to unwind. Gardening is a passion for us so we are constantly adding new flowers, plants, and vegetables and invite you to roam the property. Wildlife is abundant here so you’ll likely have many visitors.

We have a cut flower garden that you are welcome to make a bouquet in season and chickens you can collect your own eggs even.

This is the bottom floor unit of an A-frame. You will have access to the entire bottom floor to include a fully equipped workout room. Plus full access to the backyard with a grill, fire pit, outdoor dining, and gardens.

Other things to note
We love our vintage stove and oven so much we couldn’t bear to part with them. They both work but are a bit trickier than today’s modern appliances. We are happy to walk you through using them, however, if you’re wanting to do a lot of gourmet meals this home might not be your ideal choice. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to include a fun assortment of vintage dishes. There is an outdoor grill available for use as well.

This is our home and we live upstairs from your unit. We have one sweet kitty, three adorable doggies, and chickens. Because of this we don’t allow any pets. You may see us occasionally in the yard watering, weeding the garden/ flower beds, and feeding the chicks if we are around during your stay. We will do our best to give you full privacy of the yard so you can enjoy it to the fullest.
