- "We were a group of 7 quilters from Arkansas visiting for MSQC Birthday Bash. When we were not at MSQC we had our sewing machines and sewed all day. We enjoyed the dorm like setting and everyone felt the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen could be a bit more user friendly with adult height counter tops, or by putting risers under the work table. The cafeteria tables were interesting but a couple of mixed matched tables and chairs wiuld of been more comfortable and easier to access. Overall we would recommend this place. The kitchenette serves quartz countertops with a under mount sink. Has a microwave, hot plate, toaster, coffee maker, and a pizza oven. The refrigerator is tucked away under the stairs. Concrete Floors may be uneven as it is a basement. There is also some areas where there is lower head room from ceilings.

The bedroom is large and features a queen size bed with great sheets and comforter. The TV in the bedroom has a ROKU connected for guests to sign in to Netflix, hulu, or any other app.

The dining space has a 6 foot farmhouse table with direct access to the living room. You have full access to all the DISH NETWORK channels .

You will also find the farmhouse charm in the bathroom. Features a stand up shower and newly installed ship lap and flooring.

***This is a basement apt. so some noise from us walking around upstairs may occur during your stay. We also have 2 dogs that live upstairs so occasional barking may happen. We are also parents to a 2.5 year old baby girl. Some little cries might be heard from your apt.
Some areas have make shift curtains to hide the hot water heater and furnace. The space is quirky with the angles of ceiling and unevenness of the concrete floors. Very much safe and clean.

The pool is located in the backyard and is only available from may to sept.

Guest access
Guests have access to the far left side of the driveway for off street parking or directly in front of our house on the street. Guests have their own entrance to the apt. The entire basement is your space. We share laundry on occasion depending on length of stay.

There is no stove accessible. We do have a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, pizza oven, and kuerig coffee maker.

We have 2 loving dogs that do play outside. We just ask that all gates get shut when leaving and arriving.

We are also parents to a 2.5 year old baby girl. You may hear her cry and an an occasional foot race with the dogs!

There is one bedroom with a comfy queen bed. A single pull out bed is available in a loveseat, along with the availability of twin or queen air mattresses. These items can all be moved to create 2 private sleeping areas or placed together in the bedroom. We can connect on the best arrangement for you and your guests prior to your stay, or feel free to move items to fit your needs. The views are incredible from the 2 gabled windows. Vaulted wood celings add to the cozy cabin feel.

Guest access
There is plenty of parking on the right side of the house near the basketball hoop that gives you the closest proximity to the entrance. The entrance is around on the back patio. Guests are welcome to use the patio, firepit, grass area, and horseshoe pit (coming soon). Mozingo Lake and trails can be accessed via a gate below the far side of the property
The STAIRS to the apartment are accessed though our kids playroom. We do offer this as a shared game/lounge room, has a dartboard, board games, toys for kids, and a couch smart tv. (Send the kids here to watch a movie while the parents enjoy their movie upstairs!) HOWEVER please note: this is our children's play area and is not a showplace. Sometimes it's a little messy ;-).
The stairs in the game room lead to the private entrance to the apartment.
