This is a fully furnished private basement with everything you need for your short or extended stay. Kitchen with all the appliances. Full bathroom with stand up shower. Living room with reclining sectional and smart tv. King size bed in bedroom. 2 additional twin xl beds and optional queen size air mattress. You also get your own combination washer/dryer so one unit does it all. Guest entrance is located at the back of the house with door code access.

The entire space was super clean, the kitchen area was great for preparing all our meals, the living room had a couch big enough for all of us to sit, the bedroom had a king sized bed, and it came with a cool washer/dryer unit that was great to keep us going for the week we were there. This home is located in a safe neighborhood and is close to shopping. I cannot recommend this rental enough. It was a wonderful experience with the host, location and amenities were so much more than I expected, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Five Stars for sure!"

Welcome to my comfortable 25x12 Airbnb suite in a nice, safe neighborhood 2 minutes from the highway & 20 minutes from the airport or downtown Kansas City. Your private space & bath are just inside the front door & you are literally 6 level steps from your car. The space includes a kitchen, sitting area & bedroom area with plenty of natural light. My shady front yard has a bench & swing & there is a beautiful park at the end of the street. Plenty of shopping & restaurants within a 3 mile radius.

The space
The space is very modern down to the USB plugs - light and airy - with a new queen sleeper sofa, tables, queen bed, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a bar and stools, refrigerator, sink, and microwave. Appliances include a coffee maker, electric kettle, air fryer, griddle, sandwich maker and toaster. Plates, bowls, glasses/wine glasses, silverware, and most common kitchen tools are provided. The bathroom has a shower, sink and stool along with towels, TP and additional items you may have forgotten (toothbrush, razor etc.) The room is plenty cool in the summer and you can control your heat with a thermostat (built-in heater) in the fall/winter. Whether you are staying one night or two weeks, our goal is your comfort!

All one level, no steps to climb. Literally six steps to the front door. You can see your car from the window. You have your own private space and bath. Laundry room is right off your room and available upon request. You are welcome to use the bench and swing in the front yard. Cushions are located in the stairwell.

A couple of things to note:

1. My space is more suited to a couple of adults and a kiddo or two. Maybe three adults in a pinch but no more unless it's a quick overnight stay. Once you fold out the queen sofa bed there is not a lot of extra room in the space so it would be crowded for four adults. Any questions about this please inquire.

2. My wooden floors on the main level squeak a bit so you may hear us moving about at times or closing doors. We try to be as quiet as possible.

Welcome to a hidden gem, set on acreage with peaceful rolling hills and huge trees. The house overlooks a large yard, vegetable garden, and beautiful creek.

Cook outside, play games, or curl up with a good book in front of the electric fireplace. The property is perfect for a Sunday stroll or a splash in the creek. If you like hiking or star-gazing or just enjoy nature through windows, this location is for you. You might even find a couple of friendly farm pets on the premises.

The space
The property features a full three-bedroom lower-level unit with a private drive and private entrance. Each bedroom sleeps two with built-in or walk-in closets. The master bedroom has a walkout to the porch area where we can supply an outdoor grill or wood for the fire pit. The smallest bedroom has a walk-in closet with a lighted mirror and vanity area for the teenager's delight. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower and toilet area separated by a solid door to the vanity, which is perfect for multiple people getting ready in the morning!

The kitchen is fully furnished with an electric stove/oven, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, electric kettle, personal blender, Nuwave oven, toaster, pots and pans, tableware, pancake griddle, mini waffle maker, slow cooker, and cabinets with plenty of storage space! The unit has a full-size pantry also.

You will likely spend most of your time in the living room, where the electric fireplace will keep you nice and toasty, or the smart TV can provide entertainment if it's not pleasant outdoors. The large recliner will be welcome after a long hike or just sit and watch the birds out your front window. We have books, games, and puzzles for the whole family.

There is a separate laundry room with laundry soap supplied, an ironing board, and a study space. Some cell phone coverage is spotty in the valley, but wifi works just fine.

Our place is family-friendly in all seasons. The kids will love our huge swing. If you are coming in the winter, bring snow boots, hats, and mittens, and we will provide snow sleds and some of the greatest sledding hills. If you venture out in the summer, wading in the creek, and rock-hunting is just out your front door. We have many outdoor yard games available upon request, and some inviting trails just across the creek. Spring and fall are beautiful here! If you are bringing younger children, let us know. We can provide a pack-n-play or baby gate as needed. There are blackout curtains and a white noise machine if you don't want to pack yours.

We will give you some hiking boundaries of the property when you arrive. We ask that you not get near the upstairs unit doors or windows and stay clear of the other buildings on the property. The inside stairwell is blocked, locked, and not to be entered. This rental is all one level. There are no stairs to ascend, and the entrance is well-lit. We just ask that you drive and park only on the lower private drive during your stay.

Other things to note
The dog and cat are our special pets. Please do not feed them anything or harm them in any way. We are happy to share them with you. They are not allowed indoors.

You will be able to enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located apartment. Kansas City is a thriving city with a multitude of events, attractions, and factories. This apartment is perfectly placed in the middle of it all. The Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant (4 min/1.3 mi), Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun (8 min/4 mi), Power & Light District (14 min/9.7 mi), and the Arrowhead/Kauffman Stadium (15 min/12.5 mi) are all within the area. Camera 2 is by the guest parking area facing the entrance. Camera 3 is at the owner's upstairs front door A. Camera 4 is at the upstairs door B facing the side door entrance and owner parking. Camera 5 is on the front facing the garage door and driveway. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when motion is detected
- NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features 10 exterior security cameras. There are 2 cameras on the carport facing the parking, 2 on the back of the house facing the back deck, 2 on the back doors facing the back outdoor entry, 2 on each side of the house facing the side parking areas, and 2 on the corners of the house facing the main driveway. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras are non-operational and will not be active when guests are in residence
