Our place is a 10 minute drive to I-35/Ames. Restaurants & a park are within walking distance. This space is a flat above a detached garage and has a lovely, rustic charm and is separate from the main house. The living room has a pull-out couch, increasing guest size from 4 up to 6. The space includes a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, smart TV, Wi-Fi, dining area and an outdoor grill.
This is not handicap accessible as it requires going up one flight of stairs.

Our home is not baby proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children; however, children are welcome at your own discretion.

Thirty miles north of Des Moines lies the city of Ames, Iowa. This small city is best known as the home of Iowa State University. On-campus are some of Ames’ best attractions, like the Remain Gardens, Brunnier Art Museum, and the Jack Trice Stadium. If you’re traveling with children, splash around at the Furman Aquatic Center waterpark. For a relaxing day, play a round at Veenker Memorial Golf Course. Or, for more adult fun, get a drink and listen to live music at the Alluvial Brewing Company.

Getting Around:
There are many different ways that you can travel throughout Ames! The city’s public transportation service, CyRide, has multiple bus lines that stop by our suite and can take you to the ISU campus and Downtown Ames. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also very popular. Many shops, restaurants, and grocery stores are also accessible by foot or bike.

Checkout is at 10 am. We offer a complimentary extension to 11 am as long as you request it 24 hours before your scheduled departure. Looking for more time? The latest we can accommodate is 1 pm at $25/per every hour needed.

Our stays have occupancy limitations created around local and state ordinances. It is our guest’s responsibility to abide by these ordinances; failing to do so could result in legal consequences.
