The space
If you are looking for a clean and affordable place to stay, look no further and stay at the Blue Coyote! We offer a spacious and fenced in backyard, central to the shopping center, restaurants, grocery store, and more. Approximately 4 min drive to the nearest park/playground, 19min drive to Joshua tree.
This is a one bedroom studio best suited for 2 people but can accommodate up to 4 persons. There’s a new queen sized sofa bed and the beds are twin XL size and can be pushed together to create a king sized bed and is furnished with brand new covered mattresses, night stand, lamp, computer desk/chair, and plenty of closet space.
The home has lot's of lighting throughout with a cozy living room/kitchenette.
The kitchen features brand new stainless steel appliances and we have all the basic cookware, plates, cups, utensils available for your use.
The home is on septic so we ask that guests do not abuse the toilets, put things down the drain that shouldn't be there, or take long showers.
We have Ring doorbell and security cameras on the perimeter of the house.
Guest access
The only shared area is the front porch, garage, driveway, and front yard. Main house guests are not permitted to access the casita yard and casita guests are not permitted to access the main house backyard. There is plenty of onsite parking available for free. We ask that you do not park behind someone else's vehicle and do not store anything in the garage without prior written consent of host/landlord. There’s additional parking to the left of the house if needed, on the dirt in front of or left gate.
Other things to note
I have cameras monitoring the front door and the yards. This main house can also be booked if you need an additional 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (subject to availability). The main house has its own private entrance, 3 bedrooms, 2 living room areas, 2 bathrooms, full sized kitchen, rear patio, heating, air conditioning, and additional parking. The space
The house has a beautiful, panoramic view from atop our 5-acre property. It was the original home on the property, built in 1996, and has a galley kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and a living space that includes a fold-down couch bed. There is fencing all around, so a medium to large dog can roam freely. Owner's Residence is about 15 yards away from the Guest House.
Guest access
Guests can access all parts of the property other than our home. :-) There is a large patio and wooden deck, as well as a fire pit in front of the guest house that can be used any time. Plenty of parking for 1 or 2 cars on either side of the house.
Other things to note
Wi-Fi is available at the property and included with the rental.
TVs stream video and run multiple apps, including ATT TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime and more.
Pets are welcome -- please inform us prior to your stay that you will be bringing a pet so we can make adequate preparations.
Please be sure to turn off all lights and air conditioning and make sure all doors and windows are closed when leaving the property.
Our guest home is located behind the main house in the beautiful neighborhood of Western Hills Estates, we are located near Joshua Tree National Park and Pioneer Town. Our guest home is fully furnished to make your stay comfortable, including a kitchenette with mini fridge, hot plate, and microwave. Enjoy the amazing sunrise, sunsets and views over Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree from this hill top retreat. Please note we do allow dogs with an extra $30 fee.

The space
The property was built in the 50's, it consists of 2 guest apts and a house above. In the small valley which it is located was a Dude ranch in the 1950's -60's. celebrities and entertainment folk alike would come to stay many to visit Jimmy Van Huesen who lived at the house on top of the mountain.
Steve Mcqueen's first wife Neile recalls visiting with Steve in the 60's-70's. They loved the desert? Now the property is an ideal location close to Joshua Tree National Park, Pappy and Harriet's and all the sights of the area. Within a very short distance Starbucks, grocery stores and all the shopping you will need for your visit! The rooms offer the comforts of a Four Seasons with the privacy of an almost 5 acre compound! Come enjoy our casita pool house backed up to wide open desert views and hiking trails. After exploring the secret entrance into the back of the National Park, take a refreshing dip in our completely secluded pool with 5ft steel plate privacy fence all the way around. This casita is on the back half of our 3 acre compound which we live on full time. If you need anything at all we are nearby and can also direct you to all the best crowd free hiking spots.

The house is a one bedroom one bath casita built next to our pool. There is a full kitchen, living room and massive yard on a hill overlooking open desert and mountains.

The pool is private and we make sure you have full access to it during your stay but we may also ask to schedule time for our family to use it when it is convenient with your schedule.
