Others like relaxing on the deck, sitting in the new 'rockers' 2021, under the shade of the overhang and watching the pelicans fly by or see the dolphins hanging out. During turtle season, you may even see a loggerhead. See the unobstructed view of the stars at night. Enjoy our fully stocked kitchen. We even have complimentary k-cups, Hot Chocolate, and tea for your arrival, to get you by until you make your grocery run. Do you like to grill at the beach? We have a gas grill all ready for your world famous burgers. We have board games, card games and books to satisfy the kid in anybody. Pirate stories, lighthouse books, shells and more, Direct Tv throughout!
Of course we are dog friendly so we have the pooch covered too. Dog bowl, toys, and need we say more, a good supply of doggie pick up bags.
Inside when you retire for the evening, the Master welcomes you with a brand new June 2016 queen pillow top mattress and it's own bath. The other bedrooms have brand new 2016 queen and 2 doubles. So we have sleeping arrangements that you need to make Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and the other bears rested and happy. Truly a story book setting, but you supply the story line and ending. Sunrises are beautiful and sunsets are breathtaking...Enjoy!

Ready for bed, no problem, there are two queen beds and a set of double bunk beds which gives plenty of room for every family member to stretch out and have a space of their own. There is a TV in every bedroom/family room and Wifi throughout. Take your pick, walk in shower or shower/tub combo. Cool features of this house include a large front porch(with dog gate) to sit on after a full fun filled day at the beach, or walk around and grill out on the back patio. Want to go "totally island", try the outdoor shower, you'll never want to shower inside again. Very short walk to the beach, but just in case you need some extra hands, we have a beach caddy. And don't forget to use our Men's/Women's/Children's bikes to take a ride to the the local ice cream parlor after dinner.
Bring your clothes because that is about all you will need. sheets, towels, beach towels, chairs are all included. Lots of parking, so pack up and we will see you at Emerald Isle. Blue sky, white sand, beautiful ocean awaits.

Welcome to Beach Retreat West. This 2nd row duplex has it all. Enjoy great ocean and sound views without the oceanfront rental prices. This home is in excellent condition, with over 2000 sq. feet of living space. View the ocean or sound from every single room in the house. Walk out onto the decks, and the ocean views will take your breath away. I promise, once you have been here for a week, or two, you will never want to leave.

You will wake up in the mornings, walk out onto the decks, and gaze out over the beautiful Crystal Coast. Take a deep breath and you will smell Emerald Isle's salty air. This home has four bedroom, with queen beds (all with deck/balcony access), a kids' loft/entertainment area (four twin beds), with TV/VCR/DVD. There is also a large collection of books, movies, games, puzzles, and a stereo system all there for your enjoyment.

Cook all your favorite foods in the fully stocked kitchen, while you look out the window at the ocean. Dine in and entertain in the large, open living/ dining room. Watch t.v on the flat screen TV, while relaxing on the couch.

Step out on the deck the take in the gorgeous views of the beach from both directions. If you watch carefully, you may even catch a glimpse of dolphin swimming by. If the sun gets too hot for you on top, stroll downstairs, where you can enjoy a covered deck that provides lots of shade.

One of my favorite amenities with this home is the beach access. There is a wooden walkway directly across the street that leads you straight to the beach. This is extremely important if you are like me, with five kids and it seems like you bring everything but the kitchen sink with you. We always have so much to carry back and forth, that having the convenience of the beach access is priceless.

Finally, after a fun-filled day on the beach, put the kids to bed and walk back out onto the deck. Sit back and look at the moon as it shines over the ocean. This view will just put an exclamation point on your day. Get a good night sleep and get ready to do it all over again tomorrow.

She loved the beach and there was no better way to celebrate her than to all get together for a beach vacation on her behalf! The house was the perfect size for everyone to spend time together and when you needed a little time to yourself there was plenty of space to do so and getting to the beach was just a quick walk across the street! This is the best the coast has to offer! This beautiful sound front cottage comes with all the amenities with a private pier and a new in-ground pool. This cottage is really 2 homes in one. The upstairs cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The beautiful downstairs apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The large backyard is excellent for weddings, grilling, and having the whole family together for a wonderful time. Enjoy the pier and get a great tan, play in the water or catch some fresh fish.

If you want to go beach-combing, a walk in the sunset, or catch the next best wave it's only a short walk to the beach. - "We usually stay oceanfront while on vacation. We decided to stay here because we liked the options of a private pool, sound-front, and also the ocean. We’re so happy we rented here! The home was very clean and the views of the water are beautiful. Our older kids stayed in the lower level and enjoyed their own space. The walk to the ocean is very short. The pool was clean and used often. We had an air conditioning issue but it was resolved within hours. The maintenance crew is very friendly and prompt. We are already talking about coming back and renting this house again. We only wish there was easier access into the sound from the land or dock. We had a great week, we’ll be back!"

Then dine and entertain inside with family & friends while enjoying the great ocean views from the large eating area, or have your meals outside on the upper deck where the view and sounds of the ocean enhance the experience.

Watch schools of dolphins in the morning swim by & flocks of pelicans dive in for a snack in the afternoon. If you need some shade, head down to the lower level deck & relax on one of our lounge or rocking chairs. Of course, the decks have great views, but nothing can beat hanging out on the beach & swimming in the ocean. After a long day, enjoy our outdoor shower (w/ hot & cold water) and indulge in some great local seafood at one of many restaurants within minutes of the house. After the kids have gone to sleep, sneak back out on the deck and look at the moonlight shine over the water with a glass of your favorite beverage. Get the best sleep of your life (as long as you put on plenty of sunscreen) and wake up ready to do it all over again!

The Emerald cottage is a charming, fully renovated 1950s beach cottage one block to the beach! Hear ocean waves from the master bedroom w/ a queen bed, en-suite bath & claw foot tub. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck or gather together in the open living area. There’s a hall bath & guest bedroom with desk area too! Unique & cozy, this cottage has it all with modern amenities, family fun, bikes a fire-pit, hot tub, a 3 minute walk to the beach access at the end of both streets on either side of the cottage! It’s pet friendly & close to city center!

There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with an outdoor shower as well, to clean off after the fun beach days! The master bedroom en suite has a queen bed with clawfoot tub, water closet, pedestal sink and closet. The hall bath is next to the guest bedroom that has a double bed with a closet and a desk area to work from home. Call bathhouse a tile shower, toilet and sink. The stackable washer and dryer are in the hallway next to the bathroom for your convenience while staying in the cottage. The cottage is fully renovated with all new appliances. There are TVs in both bedrooms and a large TV in the living room for those cozy movie nights together. Private backyard with outdoor seating for your morning coffee or grill dinner on the deck, and a hot tub for relaxing and the firepit for fun cozy nights! And with tons of beach gear for all the beach days and bikes, exploring is a breeze! Public beach access is just down the block so the walk is about 3 minutes. What more could you ask for!

Our oceanfront cottage is a perfect house for your family and friends to come and relax on the beach, the private pool or fabulous deck. Newly renovated, this house has TWO refrigerators, TWO dishwashers in it's well equipped granite kitchen. The master suite has fabulous beach views that are a dream to wake up to! There are two 'Mini-Masters' that have their own private full baths that will be perfect for the 'grown-ups' in your group. Each bedroom has their own TV, for the alone time we all need after a full day of family fun!
