There are beach umbrellas, boogie boards, noodles, pails and shovels to keep you busy if you want to be active. A Bocci set and/or a frisbie if you want to take it up a notch. Others like relaxing on the deck, sitting in the new 'rockers' 2021, under the shade of the overhang and watching the pelicans fly by or see the dolphins hanging out. During turtle season, you may even see a loggerhead. See the unobstructed view of the stars at night. Enjoy our fully stocked kitchen. We even have complimentary k-cups, Hot Chocolate, and tea for your arrival, to get you by until you make your grocery run. Do you like to grill at the beach? We have a gas grill all ready for your world famous burgers. We have board games, card games and books to satisfy the kid in anybody. Pirate stories, lighthouse books, shells and more, Direct Tv throughout!
Of course we are dog friendly so we have the pooch covered too. Dog bowl, toys, and need we say more, a good supply of doggie pick up bags.
Inside when you retire for the evening, the Master welcomes you with a brand new June 2016 queen pillow top mattress and it's own bath. The other bedrooms have brand new 2016 queen and 2 doubles. So we have sleeping arrangements that you need to make Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and the other bears rested and happy. Truly a story book setting, but you supply the story line and ending. Sunrises are beautiful and sunsets are breathtaking...Enjoy!

Ready for bed, no problem, there are two queen beds and a set of double bunk beds which gives plenty of room for every family member to stretch out and have a space of their own. There is a TV in every bedroom/family room and Wifi throughout. Take your pick, walk in shower or shower/tub combo. Cool features of this house include a large front porch(with dog gate) to sit on after a full fun filled day at the beach, or walk around and grill out on the back patio. Want to go "totally island", try the outdoor shower, you'll never want to shower inside again. Very short walk to the beach, but just in case you need some extra hands, we have a beach caddy. And don't forget to use our Men's/Women's/Children's bikes to take a ride to the the local ice cream parlor after dinner.
Bring your clothes because that is about all you will need. sheets, towels, beach towels, chairs are all included. Lots of parking, so pack up and we will see you at Emerald Isle. Blue sky, white sand, beautiful ocean awaits.

The house is an easy walk to the beach but the golf cart served as a bonus with 6 kids under 9! Everything is as pictured and the house is always very clean on arrival. Def recommend for anyone looking to have a relaxing beach vacation!"

This beautiful newly remodeled Beachfront Cottage in Emerald Isle is just perfect. A little bit of Paradise right on the beach. Just step off the deck directly onto the sand and catch the next big wave or relax in a chair reading your favorite book. Welcome to Beach Retreat West. This 2nd row duplex has it all. Enjoy great ocean and sound views without the oceanfront rental prices. This home is in excellent condition, with over 2000 sq. feet of living space. View the ocean or sound from every single room in the house. Walk out onto the decks, and the ocean views will take your breath away. I promise, once you have been here for a week, or two, you will never want to leave.

You will wake up in the mornings, walk out onto the decks, and gaze out over the beautiful Crystal Coast. Take a deep breath and you will smell Emerald Isle's salty air. This home has four bedroom, with queen beds (all with deck/balcony access), a kids' loft/entertainment area (four twin beds), with TV/VCR/DVD. There is also a large collection of books, movies, games, puzzles, and a stereo system all there for your enjoyment.

Cook all your favorite foods in the fully stocked kitchen, while you look out the window at the ocean. Dine in and entertain in the large, open living/ dining room. Watch t.v on the flat screen TV, while relaxing on the couch.

Step out on the deck the take in the gorgeous views of the beach from both directions. If you watch carefully, you may even catch a glimpse of dolphin swimming by. If the sun gets too hot for you on top, stroll downstairs, where you can enjoy a covered deck that provides lots of shade.

One of my favorite amenities with this home is the beach access. There is a wooden walkway directly across the street that leads you straight to the beach. This is extremely important if you are like me, with five kids and it seems like you bring everything but the kitchen sink with you. We always have so much to carry back and forth, that having the convenience of the beach access is priceless.

Finally, after a fun-filled day on the beach, put the kids to bed and walk back out onto the deck. Sit back and look at the moon as it shines over the ocean. This view will just put an exclamation point on your day. Get a good night sleep and get ready to do it all over again tomorrow.

She loved the beach and there was no better way to celebrate her than to all get together for a beach vacation on her behalf! The house was the perfect size for everyone to spend time together and when you needed a little time to yourself there was plenty of space to do so and getting to the beach was just a quick walk across the street! This is the best the coast has to offer! This beautiful sound front cottage comes with all the amenities with a private pier and a new in-ground pool. This cottage is really 2 homes in one. The upstairs cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The beautiful downstairs apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The large backyard is excellent for weddings, grilling, and having the whole family together for a wonderful time. Enjoy the pier and get a great tan, play in the water or catch some fresh fish.

If you want to go beach-combing, a walk in the sunset, or catch the next best wave it's only a short walk to the beach. Inside enjoy all of the comforts of home with a nicely appointed kitchen, 5 bedrooms, excellent living area, and tremendous views of Bogue Sound! - "We usually stay oceanfront while on vacation. We decided to stay here because we liked the options of a private pool, sound-front, and also the ocean. We’re so happy we rented here! The home was very clean and the views of the water are beautiful. Our older kids stayed in the lower level and enjoyed their own space. The walk to the ocean is very short. The pool was clean and used often. We had an air conditioning issue but it was resolved within hours. The maintenance crew is very friendly and prompt. We are already talking about coming back and renting this house again. We only wish there was easier access into the sound from the land or dock. We had a great week, we’ll be back!"

Then dine and entertain inside with family & friends while enjoying the great ocean views from the large eating area, or have your meals outside on the upper deck where the view and sounds of the ocean enhance the experience.

Watch schools of dolphins in the morning swim by & flocks of pelicans dive in for a snack in the afternoon. If you need some shade, head down to the lower level deck & relax on one of our lounge or rocking chairs. Of course, the decks have great views, but nothing can beat hanging out on the beach & swimming in the ocean. After a long day, enjoy our outdoor shower (w/ hot & cold water) and indulge in some great local seafood at one of many restaurants within minutes of the house. After the kids have gone to sleep, sneak back out on the deck and look at the moonlight shine over the water with a glass of your favorite beverage. Get the best sleep of your life (as long as you put on plenty of sunscreen) and wake up ready to do it all over again!

There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with an outdoor shower as well, to clean off after the fun beach days! The master bedroom en suite has a queen bed with clawfoot tub, water closet, pedestal sink and closet. The hall bath is next to the guest bedroom that has a double bed with a closet and a desk area to work from home. Call bathhouse a tile shower, toilet and sink. The stackable washer and dryer are in the hallway next to the bathroom for your convenience while staying in the cottage. The cottage is fully renovated with all new appliances. There are TVs in both bedrooms and a large TV in the living room for those cozy movie nights together. This 6th row, 2,000 square foot, 4 bedroom / 4 bath, half-duplex, beach house is located on the ocean side of the main road (Emerald Drive) and a short walk to two community beach access walkways. The area is very quiet and, due to the configuration of the roads, there is very little traffic.

A large sound side boat access and public park, with pier, is a short walk away. Chapel by the Sea church is also in this area.

The beach is far from the crowded areas of Emerald Isle, yet only a short drive, or bike ride, from shopping and restaurants.

Cable TV and wireless internet service are provided. There are three flat screen TV's. One in the great room, one in the bunk bed room, and one in the downstairs game room. The game room includes a pool table and there is an extra refrigerator in the garage.

Three bedrooms are located on the second floor, with the fourth bedroom on the 3rd floor, near the living area. Two bedrooms have private access to a bathroom. The first floor game room includes a sofa and access to a full bathroom. Bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are provided.

A gas grill, beach chairs, Jamis beach cruiser bicycles, boogie boards, various beach toys, and a beach cart are provided.

Admire the wonderful ocean views from this level and also access the beach from the deck The next few stairs lead to level three where Bedroom #2 (twin bed & twin bunk bed set) and Bedroom #3 (queen bed) share access to bathroom#2. Walk up a few more steps to the best views of the ocean from level four. There are two oceanfront bedrooms (bedroom#4: queen bed, bedroom#5: king bed). Bedroom#5 also enjoys its own private bathroom.

Unit is on a dead end so very little traffic in the front. The main road is to the rear. Not an excessive amount of noise. Large view of the sound to the rear. Smaller view of the ocean due to the sand dune. Beaches were not crowded. Enjoyed our stay and would be happy to plan another vacation here in the future."

The 'Blue' House is located on the Crystal Coast of NC. Our beach is wonderfully uncrowded. Perfect for families- sand castle building, beach combing, bike riding (local rentals) or walking the paved trail , crabbing or clamming in the sound, jet skiing or kayaking (local rentals), miniature golfing, sight seeing. We are a family beach cottage built in 1983 with no dishwasher. For us, family meals and clean-up just add to the family vacation experience.

The space
Our cottage sits on a private lot shaded by live oaks with decks on three sides for sunbathing and relaxed interaction. On the ground level you'll enjoy grilling and swinging on the porch swing. Inside there is ample space to socialize, read a book, or play fooseball in the loft area.

This classic beach cottage is located just one block from the beach and Bogue Inlet. Being so close (3min walk) allows for a convenient stroll to splash and tan ocean side or catch world class red drum while fishing the Bogue Inlet!

From the moment you arrive at this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home it immediately evokes memories of the charming original beach cottages of Emerald Isle. The open floor plan kitchen/dining/living area is where most time is spent when not on the beach and it allows for a great place to gather and entertain friends and family. With two decks and plenty of covered space underneath you can easily move things outside, especially when the "Party Lights" are on downstairs! Dogs under 35 pounds are welcome guests with a pet fee. Bed linens and bath towels are included for up to 10 people so all you need to bring are your beach towels!

The Master Suite has a queen size bed and its own private bathroom with shower. The Bunk Room has a pair of twin over full bunks which make this room a cozy and fun kids' space. The Queen Room has a queen size bed with lots of warm natural lighting. The hall bath has a full size tub but most folks prefer to use the outdoor shower after a long day of fun and sun! Books, games, Roku smart TVs, and a DVD player mean that even rainy days at the beach can be entertaining here! Washer and dryer are included as is a charcoal grill so you can have the amenities of home while on vacation.

The Point is the area at the end of Coast Guard Rd. known for its quiet and family friendly/ neighborhood feel. Since the beach faces south, there is plenty of sun all day and you can watch the sunset over the water at Bogue Inlet in the evening!

In addition to your beach chair, bring your bikes and ride the elaborate Emerald Isle bike path all over the island to find fun shops and restaurants. We love all of our beach buds and look forward meeting you!

The space
Renovated in 2022, this cozy cottage is located in a great neighborhood on Emerald Isle. Each room is furnished well for our beach environment and very comfortable for families. We have all the toys you can imagine too! No need to rent anything!

Guests have full access to our home. We want our visitors to enjoy it as much as we do!

Our guest comment that our home is cleaner than any rental home they have stayed in! Our cleaning crew are amazing!

Listen to the ocean and take a nap in this 2nd row beach cottage. Great layout - every bedroom has its own bathroom - with everything you need for a weekend (or a week long!) getaway. Ocean access is across the street and the beach is never crowded. 2 master suites - one with large soaking tub, it's own couch and tv. the other is upstairs and has views of the ocean, along with a shower/tub.

2 queen size bedrooms, each with their own bath. Electric car charger .

The space
Spacious but "normal size" home. 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, across the street from the ocean. For the person who isn't into "pastel everything", this is the beach house for you.
