Our property features everything you need to relax and unwind, including a firepit and barbecue facilities. Spend your evenings gathered around the fire, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories with loved ones. Or, fire up the grill and cook up a delicious meal to enjoy on the deck as you watch the sunset over the water.

Inside, you'll find a cozy and comfortable living space that is perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day of exploring the area. The cottage features one Queen bed, two Twin beds and one floor mattress, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a living room with a fireplace that will keep you warm and cozy on chilly evenings.

We heartly welcome guests of all races, faiths, genders & sexual orientations. Our home is a safe place for guests from all minority & marginalized groups.

Very quite and peaceful waterfront neighborhood

- Only one car parking space available outside the cottage. Check the listing pictures for the exact parking spot. Do not park at any other place at anytime

- No Parties/Events allowed at our place.

- Cottage has 1 Queen bed, 2 twin beds and 1 floor mattress. Please book only if you are comfortable with this setting. Check pictures for more information.

- Note: Boat Launch is not available to the guests (per the decision by Lake Rosalind association). Guest may however enjoy Kayaking/Swimming in the Lake.

- Kayaks/Boats on-site are not for guest use. Guests may bring their Kayaks/Boats, if they wish. Small Bunkie on the side of patio is storage and not for guest use.

- Guest booking the cottage should be minimum 21 years of age.

- Guests are requested to bring their own propane tank for BBQ and fire pit supplies. There is an empty propane tank on the property and can be used by guests for exchanging with filled tanks.
HOUSE RULES:
• Below conditions will also be shared in a secure link with guests post booking confirmation to read and agree.
• No smoking allowed. By booking, you agree that violating the smoking rule you automatically forfeit your security deposit (if any), and an additional $500 charge will be applied for professional deep cleaning and 'de-smoking' of the house/unit.
• Parties / events, lack of decorum and disruptive noise will not be tolerated.
• Guests are not allowed to exceed the agreed upon occupancy limit in the reservation. Any unregistered visitors will be charged $50/person/night for the full reservation.
• Neighborhood quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10PM-8AM.
• If the neighbors are disturbed, host reserves the right to ask the tenant to vacate the premises with no refund.
• Maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded at any time
• Pets are welcome (only if included in reservation), however
o Strictly no pets on any furniture. $200 deep cleaning fee for violating house rule.
o Guests agree to pay for any damage (to furniture/wood/wall etc.) by their pets.
o Guest to get own dog bed & bowls and immediately clean/pick up any waste by pets.

- "Our stay was great! Not only is the house cozy and decorated with taste, but the backyard and lake was spectacular to spend our days in! Perfect place for an intimate family vacation to enjoy swimming, fishing, bbq’s, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit and much more. Hosts are great with communication and are quick to respond and help with anything. Everything was provided in the house. We had an amazing weekend at this cozy cottage!" - "The place was beautiful, as was the lake. Everything was provided and made the stay very easy. However, two issues were there. First, I didn’t realize that the one bathroom was connected to one of the bedrooms, and the two single bedrooms were not separated by a door or anything. Obviously not a dealbreaker, but people constantly coming to my room to use the bathroom, especially during the night did get a bit annoying. Secondly, the fire alarm is horrible. It was constantly going off every time we turned on the stove, or even preheated the oven with nothing there. Lovely place, comfortable, but it’s got its quirks."

House Rules (must meet these to book): Sleeps 8 (max 6 adults), Sunday - Sunday only during the summer (last week of June - start of Sept), Lead guest must be 30+ years old. two dogs allowed (no cats), no parties allowed. A supplemental information form must be completed.

Cottages have come a long way in the last 25 years - the traditional "kick back and relax" getaway has all but disappeared beneath the move to bigger and more modern. Every once in a while we find a maverick - a place that is a bit of a throwback and gives you a feel for what things used to be.
Peabody Log Cabin Cottage once served as a general store for the rural residents of the Saugeen River watershed. Those times have been consigned to the pages of history, but when you step inside the cottage, you definitely have a sense of yesteryear. It should be noted, as shown in the exterior photo, that Grey Road 3 runs fairly close to the cottage and you will notice itinerant car and truck traffic when on that side of the property.
This Bruce Peninsula rental cottage is a value-priced stay at a riverside cottage with a deck very close to the water. Here you can explore a couple of trails, enjoy a game of catch or Frisbee in the side yard, go for a dip in the swimmin' hole, or simply curl up with a good book in the sunroom. Evenings may see your group sharing some songs and stories around a campfire before turning in.
Inside, the cottage has retained its' heritage look while correcting some of the effects of Father Time. The aforementioned sunroom is a delightful sitting area with windows on the river. You'll notice the original log exterior forms part of an interior wall here now. The kitchen is open to both the sunroom and to the dining area, the latter of which is paired with a living room/media area at the front of the house. A pass-through makes meals easy to serve here - perhaps your group doesn't want to miss a minute of the movie or the game. There is a 4-piece bathroom on this floor as well.
Upstairs is a farmhouse-feel set of 3 bedrooms and a 2-piece powder room that is accessible from 2 different doors. There are beds for 7-8 people. One of the rooms sleeps 4 - perfect for a small family or a set of cousins that will ignore your pleas of "go to sleep".
For those who want to do some day trips, exploring the South Bruce is pretty easy. The towns of Owen Sound, Sauble Beach and Southampton are all about a half hour's drive. Closer by is Chesley, less than 10 minutes away - it has all you need for groceries and the basics as well as a couple of restaurants, pizza joints and a bakery...all cottage must do's. Another 10 minutes takes you to Paisley - a town with a similar feel.
Peabody Log Cabin is the choice for a group wanting a relaxed environment with a feel of the way we once were.

Waterfront
The water is shallow in front of the cottage, and not ideal for swimming, but children can enjoy splashing in the shallow water. Tubing is great on the river!

Welcome to Willow Cove Cottage located on peaceful Pearl Lake (a true hidden gem) just 90 minutes from K-W. At Willow Cove Cottage, there are multiple summertime activities for you and your family, such as swimming, canoeing and fishing. The shallow entry is ideal for little ones and pets to cool off during those hot summer days. The fun doesn't end in the summer either. The cottage is located near some of the best snowmobile trails that Ontario has to offer.

At Willow Cove Cottage, there are multiple summertime activities for you and your family, from swimming, canoeing, boating and fishing in the crystal clear lake. The shallow entry is ideal for little ones and pets too cool off during those hot summer days. the fun does not end in the summer either. The cottage is located near some of the bestsnowmobile trails that Ontario has to offer .
