Welcome to Bruce Pines at Sauble Beach!

Peaceful and tranquil and only a 4 minute walk to the pristine sandy beach.

Enjoy a private treed setting with loads of outdoor living space or a short bike ride to the main strip to take in the shops and cafes. Back at the cottage for a BBQ with family and friends in the fully screened outdoor dining room. Round out the evening with wine, music, board games, campfire and smores for the kids.

Inside is fully furnished with well equipped kitchen, Smart TV, high speed wifi internet, AC, natural gas fireplace and newly renovated bathroom and living room. Outside has large front deck with muskoka chairs, comfy rocking chairs with side table, BBQ and campfire pit with plenty of seating and surrounded by forest. Everything you need for your family vacay!

My cottage is a simple, wholesome escape. Just a skip away from the busy roads and city life, nature is all around. You might spot a heron flying over the river, chipmunks stopping by to say hello, or even a turkey wandering through the yard. It’s a small, cozy, no-frills kind of place—perfect for slowing down and enjoying the little things.

Indoors, light up the woodstove and get cozy—there’s plenty of firewood for you to use. Play a game of chess at the game table or wind down with some Netflix. Outside, lounge with a good book on the deck, stretch out in the hammock, or fire up the Kamado grill for a BBQ. Sauble Beach is just an 8 minute drive, and Tobermory, Lion’s Head, and Collingwood are all about an hour away.

Come stay in our recently renovated cozy cottage. There are now 2 bedrooms, a master and seperate room with one set of bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. The cottage although it isn’t a full kitchen has everything you may need. No stove but single burner and most people want to bbq outside on beautiful summer days. The cottage does have a/c and heat to keep you comfortable

The cottage is fairly well equipped, be sure to bring bedding and towels. We provide mattress covers, pillows and a comforter for the main bed.

The cottage shares a property with another cottage, we have added a cedar hedge that will provide more privacy. Each cottage gets its own fire pit, chairs and picnic table.

The campground is a small campground of 60 sites, enjoy the campground amenities, heated pool, horseshoes, rent a kayak or canoe and go out on the Spry Lake.

This is an original Oliphant cottage built in 1911. Has been refurbished and made into a 4 season cottage. We are a 2 minute walk to the government docks and marina. There is a boat launch at the marina if you bring a boat or PWC. There is a 10$ fee for launching. We have shallow water with sand to walk out in or swim, kayak, SUP, or canoe out in front of the cottage. You can fish off the government dock. On windy days you can watch or windsurf / kite surf yourself right in front of the cottage. You are located about a 10 minute drive to Sauble Beach. We are an hour drive to the top of the Peninsula to Tobermory and 13 km across the Peninsula to Wiarton on the Georgian Bay. Very central to do whatever outdoor activities you would like or just relax and look over the lake at the cottage.The cottage can sleep up to 6 people as we have a queen bed in the front bedroom and 2 singles in the other bedroom. We also have 2 singles in the living room area that is a day bed/couch and a trundle you can pull out from underneath. There is a bbq for outdoor cooking including the propane and we also include fire wood for your outdoor fires. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking/baking needs and we have a drip coffee maker and a Keurig.We have a limited channel selection on Satellite that has news, weather and music. We do have a ROKU for your use and a disc player and some discs for your use also. You may also enjoy having a campfire at night and no need to grab wood - we have wood for you when you arrive. Pets are not allowed - so sorry but we have experienced damage from pets and had to try to fix the cottage quickly and replace furniture. And also be picking up excrement so that the next renters are not stepping in it.
This also allows renters with allergies to know they are safe. The Bruce Peninsula is a dark skies environment so star gazing is amazing here. If luck is on your side you may even see the northern lights. We live next door and have done some construction in our backyard so this year the backyard of the cottage is off limits for fear of injury to guests because of different building materials there. Our apologies for this inconvenience. The cottage and front yard is all yours.
Going out right from the Oliphant Docks is a Fish guiding tour with "Fish The Bruce" and boat tours around the Fishing Islands including sunset tours is "Boat The Bruce". You do not even have to drive to get to these tours. A short walk of maybe 2 minutes to the dock or the Captains of the Boat Cruises could pick you up with the golf cart shuttle at the cottage. These can be looked up online and booked there. We also have Stan Up Paddle boards that you can rent for $35 for the day from us. The are Red brand blow up paddle boards and if you want to take them elsewhere they come in a bag for your convenience of transportation.

The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing an evening meal we hosted for our family group of 12. Being able to easily walk to the marina was another plus. This unit was spotless and comfy!" - "We really loved our stay. The cottage is clean, cute and perfect for a family of four. I was particulary fond of the front deck, with the view on Huron lake. There's a beach at walking distance from the cottage, with shallow and warm waters. Our kids (9 and 7) really enjoyed it. But if you seek more waves and animation, the cottage is at a 12 minute drive to Sauble Beach."

Have you ever wondered about why the waters of Georgian Bay can appear to take on a beautiful aqua colour? It's a product of light refracting through calcite in the water.
Calcite comes from the dolostone that makes up the escarpment. Rainfall events (rain is naturally slightly acidic) or water agitating surrounding rocks can cause calcium carbonate to leech from the stone or other calcium-rich compounds, such as marl, and crystallize in the lake water, becoming calcite. These crystals double-refract the light (also called birefringence), creating the beautiful hue that our eyes see.

On Georgian Bay, this well-maintained, 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage is updated with a 500-square foot addition and floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of Hope Bay. The kitchen is well-stocked with herbs, spices, the basics like flour, sugar, tea, coffee, and the fridge has a full set of condiments and essentials like butter and maple syrup. The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated, and a small beach in front of the cottage is partially shaded. At the water is a dock, firepit, chaises lounges, and comfortable chairs. Spring-summer-fall hiking on the Bruce Trail is just a few minutes walk away, and biking is excellent on Bruce Road 9 and surrounding rural roads. The cottage is well-insulted, with two heat sources a temperature controlled gas stove and a wood stove that keep the cottage warm and comfortable in the coldest weather.
I love buying food directly from local farmers' farm gate sales and area farmers market that are open from May to Thanksgiving each year.

- "A nicely sized two bedroom cottage. Kitchen is fully equipped. The rental comes with access to plenty of extras including bikes and a canoe. The private water access is lovely and it’s within easy walking distance of a semi-private sandy beach and a larger public sandy beach is just a few minutes further (walking). The location is wonderful. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. The cell reception was good on both Rogers and Bell, a definite plus for the Peninsula."

- "The cottage is nice, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Perfect for a quiet getaway from the city."

Inside the cottage is a full kitchen with a stove, fridge, oven, and microwave. There is a bookshelf for book lovers out there with an assortment of books. There is a tv included in the cottage. Be able to have a view of the lake from the downstairs windows. There is also a hockey game table to have some fun with. The lake is only a couple of minutes walking distance from our rustic cottage. Only a few minutes drive from Collingwood with so many activities to do such as skiing, restaurants & much more. The fireplace is unavailable at the moment but we do have electrical heaters available.

The Maples in Port Elgin is a quiet, comfortabe and clean cottage park. We are located just a few minute walk from the Port Elgin Main beach. Cottage G is a small 2 bedroom cottage ideal for 2 adults and room to add a small child in there own bedroom.

There is ample amount of space in this cottage to host a large or combined family vacation and is available for stays all year round!

On the main level, you will find a fully stocked kitchen with lake views, combined dining/living room, 2 formal bedrooms (BR - 1 - one double and BR - 2 - two Queen), one full bath (with bathtub and shower) and an extra seating area with a futon couch. The highlight of this level is definitely the walk out to the raised porch which offers beautiful views of Georgian Bay and Lion’s Head Harbour.

The lower level, has another full bathroom, a walk out to the back yard and houses the additional three bedrooms (queen/queen / twin) .

Enjoy the privacy of this large property while playing in the yard and roasting marshmallows at night or you can enjoy a nice hike or a day at Lion's head public beach which are both just a short walk away..

Boat launch close by (free government dock) one concession south, Lions Head Marina on east side of peninsula, or gradual entry steps away is good for canoe, kayak, or jet ski entry.

The space
Myles Bay Cottage is surrounded by acres of cedar forest.
It is a great central location to explore the Bruce Peninsula.
Just 2 minutes to Sandy Beach (Black Creak Provincial Park), 10 minutes from the village of Lion's Head, Georgian Bay and the Bruce Trail, 30 minutes from the Bruce Peninsula National Park and The Grotto, and 35 minutes from the town of Tobermory.
The Cottage is a cozy, open concept home with two bedrooms and tastefully updated living space complete with a full kitchen.

Available for full-week stays July-August.
Minimum 2-night stay rest of the year.

The cottage is all yours!

The space
The bedrooms are small, quaint, and perfect for that cottage experience! In this cozy cabin, you'll even have your own bbq and picnic table outside and there's also a large sand pit with a play area and large fire pit for use by any of our guests. There's plenty of outdoor chairs to pull up to the fire pit in the evenings or relax in the shade during the day.

We provide parking for one vehicle per cottage on our property. Street parking is permitted in the area as well.

Other things to note
Please note that we do allow pets, so you may encounter leashed dogs on the property. If you are bringing a pet with you, please be sure to let us know ahead of time as we do our best to limit the number of dogs on the property at any one time for everyone's enjoyment and safety. A pet fee will apply.

Spacious living area indoors and tons of space and seating with a fire pit outdoor. All the comforts of our family cottage provided to give you a sense of relaxation for your well deserved time off. Our home is your home, come on in.

The space
The entire cottage is yours to use. The living area is an open space where you can sit, talk and dine together. Ample space for children to play and adults to lounge. The guest rooms are comfortable, towels and extra beddings available; kitchen is fully stocked and equipped; bathroom has emergency supplies but please be respectful and don't keep it for yourself.
Enjoy the firepit for a warm cozy evening or sit in the backyard while the bbq grill is going. Sip on your favourite beverages and listen to the sound of the waves as it crashes onto the shore. Make sure you walk to the beach to witness the spectacular sunsets of Sauble Beach.

*There is now a mandatory 4% MAT (Municipal Accommodation Tax) charged by the Province of Ontario on all short term rentals. This will be an additional requested fee sent to you separately which will need to be paid before check in.

The cottage is well stocked with basic needs. Coffee and tea are free for guests. For emergency, there is pasta, sauce and pancake mix, just let me know if you're consuming them so I can replenish it. Pots and pans are available for your use. For anything else you need, there's the local grocery, wine and beer store, drug store, bakery and all the other stuff you need which is a quick drive or bike ride away. In the garage, there is a small wagon that you can load to bring to the beach, a yoga mat, some camp chairs to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

We also personally use the cottage so there will be personal items tucked away.

Our family cottage is located on a quiet, tree lined street only two blocks from Southampton's sandy South Street Beach. The beach is known for it's shallow calm water, beautiful view of Chantry Island and amazing sunsets.
The cottage is cozy and has all the essentials for a cottage getaway with the family. There is no wifi but there is a TV with cable.

Sunset Hollow Cottages in Sauble Beach is a 6 cottage rental, nestled between the cedars, a mere 300m from the shores of Sauble Beach! The cottages are small and quaint, with all the basics you need to enjoy a getaway.

It does NOT come with linens and is suitable for 4 adults (2 double beds) and 2 kids (1 small bunkbed).

The space
This is a 3 bedroom cottage that sleeps 4 adults and 2 kids. It comes with your basic kitchen appliances, tv and wifi.

YOU NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN LINENS- including towels, sheets and pillows. The cottages are three season so a space heater is provided but please bring warm clothes and blankets for the cool nights.

Each cottage has its own front porch with Muskoka chairs, private deck and bbq, picnic table and own fire pit. There is a shared sand pit in the back with a volleyball court and bin full of recreational sports equipment.

Guest access
There is 2 spot parking available for each cottage rental out front. The beach is within walking distance so no need to drive!

There is one dog allowed per cottage. We welcome your furry family member, but have some rules in place in order to respect other guests that may be on site. Dogs are not allowed at the beach access close to the cottage but are allowed on the North beach after Labour Day weekend. We ask that you do not leave your dog unattended in the cabin, that they are leashed at all times when outside on the premise, dog poo must be picked up and not allowed in sand pit at back of property.
