Cottage 3 is a Cute 3 Bedroom Cottage within a one minute walk to the sandy beeches of Port Elgin. Just around the corner is the harbour, kids splash pad, and park. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants downtown.

Enjoy a relaxing stay with family and friends in our home away from home located conveniently between the main beach in Port Elgin and the downtown core. It is a 9 minute walk in either direction, meaning that you can visit the coffee houses, bakeries and shops on the main strip. You can also enjoy drinks on a patio at the local pub or have dinner at the Italian Eatery. If travelling in the opposite direction you can get ice cream at the main beach, walk around the marina or take a swim in Lake Huron. We recommend you stick around for the fantastic view of the sunset and plan to hike or bike the extensive trail systems, such as Beiner’s Bush Trail, accessible to you via our street.

If wanting some time to relax, stay in and cook for yourselves in the newly renovated kitchen or have drinks on the back deck while using the BBQ or charcoal grill. We have a new patio set that seats 4-6 people as well as 4 folding chairs to use around the fire pit when wanting to make s’mores or spider dogs in the evenings. Have a popcorn and movie night using our Smart TV equipped with Netflix or use our high speed internet to stream from your own devices. Feel free to play board games , cards or choose a book from our collection of children/adult reading materials.

Make yourself coffee or tea to have on the deck in the morning using our kettle and Keurig machine. Clean your towels and bathing suits using the washer and dryer during your stay. We offer 3 bedrooms; 2 with queen beds and a third with a double bed. Each room is equipped with dressers and night tables. Both queen beds have built in drawers underneath for additional storage which you are welcome to use. We provide fresh linens for all beds but ask that you bring bath and beach towels for the duration of your stay.

Cottage 2 features a one-bedroom with a pull-out couch. You are an 8-minute walk to Main Beach and a 12-minute walk to the downtown restaurants and shops. You will also be close to wooded walking trails and the shore road alongside the lake where you can bike, walk, or rollerblade to Southampton on the paved path.

Brand new as of May 2023, we welcome you to stay at our fully updated and professionally designed 650 sq. ft. cottage.

Our space features an open-concept living area with a vaulted ceiling making the space feel light and bright. This area features the kitchen, main entryway and living area. With keyless entry, you can check in without having to meet up with your hosts. The kitchen houses new black stainless appliances with a 4-seat island. The living space includes a pull-out couch for two, a central tv and floor-to-ceiling corner windows. You can control the heating and cooling of the unit here as well.

The bedroom features new furniture being, a queen bed, and a dresser with room for hanging items.

The newly tiled bathroom has a 60" vanity and custom tiled tub shower with sliding glass doors. Within the bathroom, you will also find our in-unit laundry machines available for your use during your stay.

The large sliding patio door gives you direct access to your private patio. Featuring casual lounge seats for your relaxing times and a dining set for your outdoor meals - which you can cook with on your bbq.

Lake Huron Getaway. Beautifully renovated lakefront cottage on sandy beach. Private patio provides spectacular waterfront views, including arguably the best sunsets in the world. The beach is out the front door, as is access to great restaurants, shopping and hiking and biking trails.

The space
Four bedrooms with all amenities. Three bedrooms in cottage, plus one in separate bunkie. Fully insulated, gas furnace, stove and fireplace, wifi, 65" smart TV in cottage, 42" in bunkie, wine frig, BBQ, dishwasher, washer and dryer.

Guest access
You have your own private parking for up to four cars. It is a five minute drive to downtown Port Elgin and ten minutes to Southampton. Biking along the lakefront trail takes about half an hour between the towns. The area offers many other opportunities for hiking, biking, and exploring.

No parties. Guests must be registered, and extra guests will incur an additional charge.

🔔 Security:
We have a Ring doorbell camera at the entrance for guest check-in. It is not actively recording during your stay.
