It's easy to access Paris from the station in town - 25 minutes on the fast train (TER) or 50 minutes on the slow train (RER) to Gare du Nord. 15 minute walk to the station from the apartment. The apartment is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The children loved the bedroom on the mezzanine. There is a portable air conditioning unit in the bedroom area that kept the space cool even on the hottest nights. Chantilly is a great place for a picnic or a nice meal in a restaurant. You also have some wonderful food boutiques so if you want to eat in and don't feel like cooking you can bring something in. You'll enjoy the market if you come on Saturday or Wednesday morning and you'll enjoy the quiet streets if you come on a Monday when most shops are closed.
