- "Zeer stijle moeilijk begaanbare trappen, onmogelijk met hond en het naar boven brengen van bagage. Bankje en stoelen ongeschikt om relaxed te zitten. Bed zakt door en is heel klein voor 2 personen, beide rugpijn na 2 nachten. Veel verlichting is kapot. Afwerking huisje is ruw slordig en onvoldoende. Erg jammer want het is een fraai historisch pandje, ligging in een prachtig stadje. Man kann viel in Middelburg unternehmen, z.b. eine Grachtenfahrt oder den Aufstieg zum hohen Turm Langer Jan mit einer tollen Aussicht über die Region. Zu den schönen Sandstränden bei Vlissingen ist es nicht weit. Leider heizt sich das Haus bei Sonnenschein sehr schnell auf. In den Schlafzimmern ist es für meinen Geschmack um diese Jahreszeit zu hell und zu warm."

By bike you will reach the center in ten minutes and the beach at Dishoek in twenty minutes. The flat is within walking distance of a variety of friendly cafes and restaurants.The historic abbey square and the numerous listed buildings and rustic alleyways in the town centre make a pleasant stroll more than worth the effort. Climb ‘Lange Jan’ – the abbey tower – and enjoy the wonderful view looking out over Walcheren.
And your visit wouldn't really be complete without a round trip along the canals. There are lots of interesting shops and pleasant patios in the town centre.

Walcheren is known for its beautiful dunes and beaches, and the rest of the island has plenty of nature to offer as well.
