- "Zeer stijle moeilijk begaanbare trappen, onmogelijk met hond en het naar boven brengen van bagage. Bankje en stoelen ongeschikt om relaxed te zitten. Bed zakt door en is heel klein voor 2 personen, beide rugpijn na 2 nachten. Veel verlichting is kapot. Afwerking huisje is ruw slordig en onvoldoende. Erg jammer want het is een fraai historisch pandje, ligging in een prachtig stadje. By bike you will reach the center in ten minutes and the beach at Dishoek in twenty minutes. It is lovely to stroll through the old streets and admire the architecture. For example, the city hall, an imposing building from the late Gothic period.

The abbey tower, known as the Lange Jan, is a striking tower that dominates Middelburg's skyline. The Abbey houses the Zeeuws Museum, where you can find an impressive collection highlighting the history of Zeeland. Well worth a visit! La Casa dei Fiori is just outside the center of Middelburg in a beautiful area next to the park with lots of water and benches. It's a 15 minute walk to the Grote Markt, but the big plus is that you can always park in front of the door for free. The closest beach is 10 minutes away by car, but even better you can go by bike. The closest beach is 20 minutes away by bike.
For children there are several small playgrounds in the area and 7 minutes by bike there is a larger free playground (Playground Hoogerzael) with water and rafts.
Next to the apartment complex there is a soccer field and a little further in the park next to the apartment there is an ice skating rink.
Within a 10-minute walk you can reach the Veerschepoort shopping center with AH, Kruidvat, a bakery, a butcher, a deli, a flower shop and a chip shop. Here you can still park for free in front of the door if you do a lot of shopping. In addition, the shops here are not as expensive as the small shops on the campsites and holiday parks.

You overlook the garden, which you can also use.
Parking is free. Bicycles or scooters can be stored indoors.

The room is heated and cooled by air conditioning. There is a cozy seating area with comfortable chairs from where you can look out over the garden.

Nice guesthouse in the old town of Middelburg. In a quiet street about 10 minutes walk from the station, shops and cafes.

The guesthouse consists of the second and third floors of a house with a protected cityscape from 1901. On the second floor, you will find a spacious bedroom with a good double bed and a spacious en suite bathroom with bathtub and separate shower.

On the third floor, there are two bedrooms with three single beds.

The space
The residence has three bedrooms, a lounge and a comfortable bathroom. You can stay here with a maximum of 4 people. In the evening, if you don't feel like going into the city, feel free to have a drink in the lounge. There is also a small refrigerator here, and you have access to free coffee/tea.

Please note, there is no kitchen. The bathroom and toilet are en suite with the bedroom on the second floor. That means the whole group has to go through that bedroom to use it.

The space
The spacious ( already refurbished ) attic studio has a front attic and separate bedroom. In the attic there is a spacious seating area with games, fridge, kettle, microwave and coffee maker with all the necessities.

The attic is completely private and therefore feels like a separate area in the house.

The bathroom with spacious walk-in shower and bath is shared with 1 person (Neryna ) because there is little at home in itself, this will not be a nuisance to this. I will therefore always take your visit into account.

The grand city hall, shops, cafe's/restaurants are at a 3 minute walk. Museum, cult film house and art galleries also nearby. Zeelands' finest beaches are within cycling distance.

The space
This light sunny, fully equipped apartment is conveniently located on the ground floor of an traditional canal house from around 1850.

The apartment is light and modern but has some original details such as the heavy oak beams in the ceiling. It is called 'Rose & Sword' after the name of the house, which is marked by a stone with a rose and a sword in its facade.

It is ideal for solo travellers or couples. The kitchen has a fridge, dishwasher and micro wave. There is a modern bathroom with shower and washingmachine.

The apartment is light and sunny in mornings and afternoons. In winter it is cosy and warm with floor heating, well insulated walls and triple glazing.

Recently, the red table has been replaced by a (foldable) pingpong table and there also is a running machine. So if you like to stay fit: please feel free to run or play pingpong!

Short term (paid) parking can be done along both sides of our canal. It is easy to find a parking space during working hours but can be a bit harder after 5 pm when people come home from work. Free parking can be found at 800m outside Middelburgs' historic defense works.

Has Wifi but doesnot have a TV. Simple music system is available to connect Ipod/phone.
