The walls are very beat up, the carpet is disgusting, and who ever cleans it, does the bare minimum. There were little hairs all over the place and the closet was full of dust. The baseboards have not been cleaned in a very long time. If you are tall I would not recommend the penthouse apartment, there are many low points in the ceiling where you will hit your head. The area and town were nice, and it was easy to take the bus to the train station. Also want to note, that they ask you to sweep the floor before you leave. They didn’t leave us a broom, just a vacuum that barely sucked anything up. Makes me wonder if they will clean the floor at all after us. "

The house is located about 50 meters from the beach, in the immediate vicinity of the Kennemer dunes. Zeehuis Zandvoort is the perfect base to enjoy the sun, the sea and the beach. The apartment on the second floor, is comfortable and fully equipped and offers a magnificent view of the North Sea.
About 100 meters from the train station with half an hour's departure to Haarlem and / or Amsterdam. A big supermarket is just around the corner 150m from the apartment.

It’s also an easy short walk into center town with it’s cute stores and restaurants. The apartment has high quality finishes and is comfortable, we found everything we needed. The bathroom is large for Dutch standards. The kitchen has new pots and pans and we appreciated the sharp set of knives and new cutting boards. Wi-Fi worked fine. The landlord lives in the apartment underneath and was very kind, helping with luggage and very responsive to questions. We had a great stay in this place. The only things to note are the steep stairs (1 flight) and there’s no door between the living room and the bedroom."
