Shared room in 7 bedroom house w many amenities. You have the lower bunk bed in a small room with 3 total beds in each room. Includes use of common areas in and around house. The space
You have a single bed in a small room with 3 total beds. But I make every effort to only rent 2 beds at a time, except during Gem Show time. And you have use of the common areas in and around the house, as well as multiple amenities. There is a housekeeping work share arrangement that is in place to make it possible for the host to continue to make the home available as it is; to help keep costs down; and to build a sense of sharing of duties such that it can hopefully be made fun to keep house clean. It basically consists of two 5 minute jobs per week and one 20 to 45 minute job every other week. It is very easy for each person.
The basic intent is that there be maintained a pleasant communicative atmosphere at all times, while the ultimate ideal is abundant positive communication and interaction.
Prices are $25 per night most of the year and $50 per night during the Gem Show. There is a 15% discount for staying a week paid in advance and a 25% discount for staying a month paid in advance. Modest Breakfast provided during Gem Show.
CAVEAT! It is only fair to advise potential guests (and to me) not to expect anything close to cleanliness perfection. All guests must read entire listing and rules BEFORE BOOKING. Also, the photos are not up to date. Some photos are better than actual and some are not as good as the actual. Those photos of the rooms were taken when they were unoccupied. It is a stand-alone bed in a 3 bed room and can be cramped. On the bright side, the kitchen and large bathroom have been remodeled.
Nevertheless, perhaps 1000 people stayed here from all over the world over more than 10 years, most were content. But it is essential not to book here if having higher expectations than the descriptions and rules. Sound friendly environment. There will likely be television or music in the common areas. PS: I am currently looking for the perfect person that can stay longer term and have a part time cleaning and maintenance job. ECO FRIENDLY. In a matter of weeks the entire house will be solar powered, including the heaters. CLEAN AIR. The air conditioners and heaters are new, and energy efficient. The main unit has special air filtering and microbial elimination by UV light. Video cameras outside and in common areas for security. PURE WATER. The entire house has a dual filtration system that softens and purified the water. Water from the tap is comparable bottled water, and perhaps better because it still contains minerals. After initial booking thru Airbnb, Guest and Host may deal directly with each other with regard to future bookings.

You also have use of kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, pans, glasses, cups and silverware. All food, toiletries and other personal products must be your own, but extras may be supplied by the house as gifts. For example, there are some condiments and food items in the kitchen and some toiletries on a shelf in the larger bathroom marked, “ABB.”

Other things to note
You can walk to convenience store, restaurants, fast food, grocery store, RX Store and etcetera. Buses will get you to the Gem Show, U of A, and even the Airport. Central location 2.2 miles to UofA, 2.7 miles to Gem Show and 4.4 miles to Tucson Convention Center. Convenience store 1½ blocks; restaurants starting .4 miles and grocery 1 mile.

There are bus lines on Campbell, Ft Lowell and on Mountain. Bus lines that run from Tucson Airport to Ft Lowell & 1st Ave (25 northbound, transfer to 6 northbound), and I am willing if possible to pick up and drop off to that cross-street location, but if I can't it is only .7 miles from said location to house, and with a transfer you can get to Ft Lowell and Vine, which is only a 7 minute walk to the house.

The space
This is a wonderful place to become your Southwest home away from home. The complex that we are in is beautifully landscaped, with many green spaces, palm trees and cactus everywhere. The Villa is beautifully furnished and decorated with southwestern colors and decor. In addition to the queen bed in the bedroom there is a sofa bed in the living room area. The villa is cozy, but provides plenty of room for 2 people. The front patio is completely furnished and has great views of the Santa Rita mountains. It is just a short walk to the common laundry facility and swimming pool. For a small fee, you can purchase a temporary membership to Green Valley Recreation (GVR) which provides you access to multiple nearby recreation centers with fitness facilities, swimming pools, outdoor jacuzzis, classes, pickleball courts and more.

Villa's West has been chosen as a recipient of the National Heritage Award. This award is given to historically documented properties which, by their unique qualities, are a major cut above surrounding properties and have maintained their original distinctive features.

This is an active 55 and over community, so one of the people renting must be of that age. Rentals will be on a monthly basis (30 night minimum) - rates vary depending on the season.

Nice large room with a Queen Size bed and walk in closet. There is a full restroom that is shared with one other guest room. Lots of nice art. Shared fridge, microwave, caf and decaf coffee pots, toaster and a hot and cold water dispenser in the hallway outside. TV with a Hulu subscription. View of mountains through the window. Shared outdoor sitting area on the carport. Two other adjacent bedrooms also available for rent.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located guest suite. Park 10 feet from your door, and everything is close : stores, restaurants, parks and entertainment. Just a throw from the University of Arizona. It is a short walk to a bus stop, dinning, and stores. Attention was given to the creature comforts.

This suite is part of our home. There is one shared plaster wall. Some guests refer to a "Thin screen" filling a doorway? It is a two inch thick rolling barn door.

The space
This room has been professionally designed and decorated to give you a luxurious and comfortable feel, transporting your mind to a vacation destination, with all the comforts you could require.

Guest access
Guests will have access to all common areas including living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry, and outdoor seating/dining area.

Guests will also be sharing a bathroom with one other room (which has only one other guest). This bathroom is professionally cleaned on a regular basis.

During your stay
The main home will have up to 4 guests staying at one time. It is very spacious and the guests are vetted carefully either through a requirement of 4.5 stars or higher on Airbnb OR if those guests booked outside of Airbnb their references and backgrounds get checked. All guests must be courteous and respectful towards each other, follow house rules and quiet hours as listed.

It is expected that guests sharing a bathroom communicate with each other to appropriately plan for it's use.

Other things to note
Street parking is free. This room DOES NOT COME WITH CAR PORT PARKING. Please refrain from parking under the carport as it is reserved for other guests on the property.

Our home is easy going and laid back. This listing is for a queen sized bed in a private room. We love welcoming new people into our home. We are out and about most of the time, but if you need anything at all please don't hesitate to ask. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and calm. We have 2 cats, a dog, and a piggy. So if you’re an animal lover missing your fur babies this is the place for you!

The space
The house has the perfect set up for hosting guests. Its a split layout so our room and the two rooms that are listed are on opposite sides of the house. The bathroom on that side of the house is only used by the other longer term roommate staying in the adjacent room making it semi-private. Let me know if you like to find out about all the cool local places to eat, hike, or anything else you're interested in!

The other room is currently being rented by a long term roommate. We are all very clean and usually out and about, so it’s likely you’ll get the house to yourself at times.

Feel free to use any of the pots, pans, and misc kitchen items. Feel free to make space in the fridge and put things wherever there is room. Theres a TV in the living room if you want to cuddle up with the cats and hang out on the couch.

Yard
Enjoy your morning coffee under the porch or out on the patio. Sometimes you'll see a hawk flying around. Take a nap in the hammock in the shade on a hot day or visit with the chickens under the lush canopy of native mesquite trees.

Private bedroom and bathroom with your own backyard and own entrance. In close proximity to outdoor attractions/hiking/restaurants and shopping. 20 minutes from the University Of Arizona. There is a mountain biking/walking loop 5 minutes from the home that features beautiful and native desert scenery!

The space
The guest quarter is located on the right side of the home. It’s completely private with a private entrance and backyard. The space has its own bedroom it’s own bathroom with shower and a kitchenette.
