- "Loved staying here - perfectly pitched hosts (welcoming and helpful but not intrusive) amazing breakfast and cake, comfortable room with everything you could want (and nice extras incl a great range of tea / coffee and an in-room fridge with fresh milk), great location - walked at Mam Tor, Kinder Scout (about 30 mins drive away for those) and Chatsworth v close. Pub next door very handy and okay, but did find a really lovely one a short drive away - the Bulls Head at Ashford-In-The-Water. Only thing that could have been improved was the weather!!"
