- "This is a nice place to stay for a good price. Beach is walking distance and staff were very friendly. " - "This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks and we chose to stay at Sea Scape. At first we were unsure as the property is older and although well-maintained, not as flashy as some other places on the island. However, we quickly fell in love with the place - so much so that we're already planning to return next summer. The property we got was a 2 bedroom that could sleep 6 (7 if someone wanted to take the extra large sofa). There was a full kitchen, stocked with all the utensils, drink and dinnerware you'd need to feed a large group. The bathrooms were big and the entire place was spotless. The location was also very convenient. It's down a little ways into Kitty Hawk and close to things like Walmart and Harris Teeter, but still far enough away to the main strip to feel a little less crowded. Check-in was easy and there were lots of amenities. My husband and I really enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard in the game room. We were also able to get a few rounds of mini golf in that is located on site. Overall this was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend this place for a one-of-a-kind trip to OBX."

The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with previous occupants that have brought pets. On my last day of my stay, i moved a floor fan, only to discover dried dog feces behind the fan. Definitely not an experience i would have expected from this "app"."

- "This was our first time at this particular establishment, and we loved it! I am very partial to the "old-fashioned" motor courts, so I take into consideration that they are not shiny and new on the outside, but the renovations inside are beautiful and our 2-bedroom was very roomy. We had a balcony with an ocean view and it was so nice to be able to sit outside and the beach access is right across the street. There is a restaurant right next door, which is super convenient. I needed to reach out to Amanda a few times (general questions, nothing urgent) and she was quick to respond, helpful, and very friendly. I also met Pam who helps out and she was also super friendly! *The only thing I will note is that since it is right on the beach road, it can be a little noisy. Obviously, this has nothing to do with the cottage management, but is worth mentioning. This only affected me when I wanted to sit outside on the balcony and relax. It was not noticed while inside.* To sum up my review, I loved the whole vibe of the place and we WILL be returning!"
