Very homely, traditional decor and furniture but all the necessities inside and outside the house you would need. Amazing views from the house/balcony was a real highlight, the best from all we looked at. House was clean, all practical things thought of with towels, linen, kitchen equipment.Nicole very kindly kept the pool open for us even though it was the last week of October and with sun every day with 23/24C it was much used! One thing to note - the location on VRBO map has the house in central Sarlat but it’s not, the listing rightly says it’s 3.5k outside Sarlat, so not sure why the map location is different. Also we wanted to be south of Sarlat near the Greenway cycle route and so we asked which side of Sarlat it was and were told by Louis, the booking assistant, that it was north of Sarlat and so we don’t book for the first few weeks of exploring but upon deciding to book anyway, discovered that it’s actually dead west of Sarlat which was better for us in the end. Otherwise all the communications were great and Nicole the host was amazing and helpful with lots of things and wanting to make our stay comfortable. We hope to visit again for sure!"

The website says that there will be information sent three days ahead of time but I had emailed Franck anyways and he didn’t seem to know this. His replies to my messages were very fast. He only speaks french and Italian. I translated my messages using Google translate and once we arrived we used my poor French and Google translate to communicate. The apartment is attached to his home. There was no noise from his house. It’s in a very quiet location with a beach at the end of the road. It is the ideal base for exploring the French Riviera and the villages-perchés close by. It is only 10 minutes drive from the airport and just 15 minutes walk to the famous village of St Paul. Yet, while the villa ensures easy access to all the Côte D’Azur has to offer, it’s location in such a pretty and tranquil domaine means that on return from a day exploring you can easily relax and soak up the wonderful provençal atmosphere....... perfect! Our villa within the domaine is one of a small number of private one and two bedroom residences and is called Mimosa Villa for the 2 mimosa trees growing there. We have wonderfully sunny south-facing private gardens with three separate terraces all with breathtaking views of the sea, Cap D'Antibes and the wooded valley below. We just returned from our two weeks vacation in this wonderful location. The villa was clean and equipped with everything you need. The garden is huge and the pool simply outstanding. A place to enjoy the nature and relax. Everything is extremely well maintained. The owner is very friendly and responds quickly, even though our French language skills are very poor... Really good bakery is close by and the beautiful centre of Porto Vecchio just a nice short walk away. We can highly recommend the place and would definitively go there again!"

It's not on a main road, but it's close to the A8 which travels East and West along the coast to all the main places on the Cote d'Azure. The villa is in very good condition and very clean, with all the facilities you need. Sylvie and Fabrice are lovely people and they were very helpful if we had any questions. There was a very useful selection of food and household items on arrival so that we didn't have to buy many day-to-day items other than ongoing food requirements. A large supermarket is a 5 minute drive away. A very enjoyable stay. We even left something important behind and they went out of their routine to check for us and to help us to quickly return and collect the item. Lovely holiday."

Located on the heights of Les Issambres, this 5* villa has an incredible panoramic sea view over Saint Tropez and its bay (which can be admired from the terrace, swimming pool, living room, bedroom, garden)

Very sunny with its south south west exposure, this villa of 140 m2 and a plot of 1200 m2 is located in a quiet cul-de-sac.

The villa can accommodate 8 people with its 4 bedrooms:

- the masterbedroom with its double bed, its bathroom and its WC

- two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds) and a bathroom and a toilet

- a 4th independent bedroom (accessible from the garden) of 20 m2 with a double bed, TV, a bathroom and a WC.

With its open kitchen (aesthetic, functional and very well equipped), the living room opens, through a large bay window with brick partition, onto a very large terrace overlooking the bay of Saint Tropez.

The terrace overlooks a private swimming pool of 8.5 X 4 meters. The swimming pool is maintained and cleaned weekly and can be made safe for children. The swimming pool is heated from the beginning of March until the end of November. For the bravest, know that the swimming pool is equipped with a counter-current swimming system.

You can relax in the sun on the sunbeds on the various terraces of the villa or in the shade under a magnificent hut. In the wooded garden, you can play boules on the pétanque court and table football.

To relax, the villa has a 5-seater outdoor jacuzzi with sea view (operates all year round). The jacuzzi is cleaned and maintained weekly by a professional. The water is changed for each new tenant.

- "We stayed as a family of 5 at this fantastic villa. Property is well maintained - pool and jacuzzi have amazing sea views. The day beds are a great luxury. Good quality air conditioning throughout the villa. You need to cross the pool area and descend a small flight of stairs to reach one of the bedrooms - but this was great for our 20 yr old son and gave some independence. To reach the property require a steep drive so driving confidence is required. Boat to visit St Tropez is only a 10 minute drive from the house. Stephane, the owner was always available to help or answer any questions. Would not hesitate to stay again."
