This beautiful quiet street which bears the name of the one, as the legend says, who invented, the school is located in the heart of the Marais and more precisely close to the Saint Paul district. The nearest metro is Saint Paul line 1.
In a beautiful condominium, this apartment has been renovated with particular care combining modernity and objects borrowed from history.
The bedding in the bedroom as well as the Murphy bed in the living room are very comfortable and of high quality.

In the main room and bath are beautiful exposed stone walls, and the original thick oak beams are exposed on the ceiling as well. In fact, the beams are older than the building -- there are signs that they were recycled when the building was built.
DETAILS THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. The floor has wide oak boards in the main room, with a welcoming antique killim rug, and antique stone tile in the kitchen and bath. Throughout there are clean lines and harmonious touches of color, giving a very aesthetically pleasing, peaceful ambience.
QUALITY BEDDING. Hand carving graces the antique bed frame, while the bed itself is high quality. For bedding, there are down and synthetic comforters (your choice), 100% cotton blankets, 100% cotton sheets, and six French pillows. The exceptional quiet of this apartment will further enhance sleep. The sofa is large and comfortable, and hides a comfortable full-sized bed should it be needed. An antique Paris bistro style table sits by the window for meals (expanding to seat four) and a wooden table serves as a small desk. (There are extra folding chairs available.)
WIFI -- AND LOW TECH, TOO. The high speed WiFi works flawlessly. Hidden away is a flat screen TV with more than 40 digital channels including CNN and BBC, and a DVD/CD/MP3 player with radio. There is an iPhone compatible alarm clock, a phone, and an answering machine. There is a whole library of Paris guidebooks. You will also find classical, jazz, and other CD's, many DVDs (including classic Paris movies), shelves full of interesting books, and reading lamps.
A VERY WELL-EQUIPPED KITCHEN, AND MORE. The kitchen has lots of charm and modern appliances: a full-size oven, four burner stovetop, built-in refrigerator with freezer, microwave, toaster, hand mixer, and coffee maker. It is also well-equipped with all utensils for cooking and eating -- more than you will find in most rentals. The bath is beautifully done with deluxe modern fixtures, a large bathtub, a deluxe shower (it's superb!), and both a washing machine and dryer tucked away in a closet. A hidden extra is a double-size hot water heater, so you should not run out. There is also a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and vacuum cleaner. All linens, towels, and soap are supplied.
AN EXCEPTIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD. Steps away on the corner, you will find the wonderful open air Marche des Enfants Rouge, the oldest market in Paris. Rue Bretagne has its own offering of excellent shops including butchers, bakers, traiteurs, wine, fruits and vegetables, and right on the corner one of the best fromagers (cheese shops) in the city. There are also two supermarkets conveniently nearby. The neighborhood is chock-full of antique shops, funky designers, and art galleries on the narrow streets. There are many great little restaurants and cafes with terraces, as well as charming Parisian parks.
IN THE CENTER OF PARIS. The Picasso Museum is literally just around the corner, as is all the rest that the Marais has to offer, from the magnificent Hotels Particuliers (17th century city mansions), many housing museums, to the famous Place des Vosges. You can easily walk to Hotel de Ville in about 15 minutes, and then Notre Dame and the other major sites along the Seine. The Pompidou Center is also right close by. There are several Metro stations nearby, and bus lines that run through the Marais.
SAFE AND SECURE. The apartment is very secure: To get in the building requires both a code to get in the main door and then a key to get through an iron security gate. The door of the apartment itself has a high security lock. The windows have security blinds that close tightly over them if you want to leave for any length of time, and the windows themselves also have locks. In short, there are more security features than you need! Especially for this lovely, safe and quiet upscale neighborhood.

In a unique location with breathtaking panoramic views of the sea, mountains, sandy beach, Fort Carré and Port Vauban, you’ll experience a magical atmosphere here for your holiday. We affectionately call the apartment 'Place de Rêves' (Place of Dreams) as the building’s entrance is just off the ‘Place de Revely’ in the Old Town of Antibes. It is on the 3rd (top) floor in the building next to the former home of the artist Nicolas de Staël and has Air Conditioning throughout the apartment as well as 2 balconies, 1 in the bedroom and 1 off the living room. The bedroom is with a king-sized bed (160 x 200cm) and there is a large sofa bed (170 x 200cm) in the living room. The sunny and spacious living room comes equipped with a Roland digital piano overlooking the marina. Best of all, the Mediterranean Sea lies just outside so the views are quite stunning !

Noise from faint subway rumble, stairwell, inner courtyard trash cans, and constant bathroom fan. Box of earplugs in bedroom. The bedroom was furnished with a comfortable double bed, duvets, pillows, small night tables, one chair, and a separate desk and chair in the alcove. There were USB ports on the left-hand side and a European outlet on the right. The walk-in closet had shelves, drawers, hangers, iron and board, full length mirror, small safe, clothes drying rack, and the washer/dryer. Lighting was insufficient. The living room and dining areas are well furnished with a large sofa, easy chair, wood dining table and benches. We recommend putting a standing lamp in the far corner to provide better lighting than the three colored lamps. We did not use the TV. Wifi worked very well. We would not recommend this apartment for four adults using the living room sofabed and sharing the one en suite bathroom. We would also not recommend this apartment for summer visitors as there is no AC in the bedroom, and we doubt the fan would be adequate in the living/dining/kitchen area. Otherwise, we found this apartment to be an excellent choice, would stay here again, and would recommend it in any season not dependent on AC."

Two bedrooms and two fully tiled bathrooms each with their own toilets. All the hot water you want and plenty of pressure even if you're last to shower.
A full American kitchen with an eat-in area that has a view of the Eiffel Tower, as does the two bedrooms. There is a full balcony/terrace off the living room and dining room.
The apartment offers full windows on both sides of the apartment which gives you lots of light and views being on the eight floor.
Real air conditioning which is important (and which many Paris rentals do not provide) due to more and more summer heat waves. Besides standard co-op floor heating, there is forced air additional heat in winter.
Hardwood floors, separate washer and dryer, English TV, very fast Fiber Optic Wi-Fi and Ethernet cable. Need to stay in touch with family, friends or office, we offer free calls to North America (and France, of course).
All this in a modern, safe, quiet, and apartment complex (called Le Grand Pavois) in an up-scale 15th residential district - just a few minutes away from the Eiffel Tower and just 10-12 minutes to the Louvre/Place Concorde/Champs Elysees by the line 8 metro (Lourmel stop).
This is an area where real French people live and has all the bakeries, shops and eating places that they demand. You won't find over-priced tourist traps or backpacking kids knocking you off the sidewalks.
If you want to do your own cooking there is a large supermarket - with its own deli and bakery - on the ground floor of the apartment complex. There is also the local produce market stand twice per week.
Great for two couples or couples with kids.

- "Timi is a great host, met us at check in, helped with the luggage and was there if we needed anything. Apartment is in a really cool old Paris building with a lot of character. The flat itself is very comfortable and even though it is on a busy street, its very quiet on the inside. I was cold out, so we had the windows closed. The location is excellent-walking distance to the main sites in Paris plus close to many shops and restaurants. We only had two of us and I like a lot of space but there is only one bathroom so if you have four people you need to share! Otherwise, the place is great, very comfortable, nice place to come back and hang out after a busy touring day. I give it five stars!"

As you look for an apartment rental, consider the size. 1152 sq. ft. is large. Which floor is the apartment on? The higher the better for security and street noise. We are on a the fifth floor (US). Is the apartment secure? We have two coded secure doors and a full time concierge. And you want to have an elevator. We have one.
I chose this apartment for its location. It is only steps to the Luxembourg Gardens entrance where there are pony rides, a super children's playground, a world famous puppet theater, tennis and basketball courts, a jogging track, petanque players, chess matches , a huge fountain and a carousel. It feels like home, not a rental, because it is my home four times a year when I'm in Paris.
If you have young kids this location next to the Luxembourg Gardens is a must. They will discover the Gardens just as my kids did -- feeding the ducks and fish in the fountain with a fresh 'baguette', sailing a boat, riding the carousel , swinging in the playground, watching a world-renown puppet show and riding the ponies.
We are close to Gertrude Stein's former apartment , where many artists of the "Lost Generation" gathered. Picture Picasso, Matisse, Dali, Fitzgerald and Hemingway having an aperitif at Gertrude Stein’s nearby apartment before they stroll to the nearby Montparnasse brasseries to see Josephine Baker. Three metro stops, five bus lines and a taxi station are close to the apartment. The location affords easy access to the entire city and its monuments.
The 'beaux-arts' building was built in 1900 with high ceilings and elaborate wall/ceiling moldings. The high floor apartment with an elevator is a spacious 1,150 square feet and has two balconies.
Why do I say 'luxury'? The decorator designed apartment is furnished with expensive antique furniture, oriental carpets, fine bone China, original oil paintings and Japanese woodblock prints. I completely remodeled three bathrooms, the kitchen and installed a Japanese washing toilet. The drapes are custom-made heavy velvet. In the European tradition, one bedroom's walls are covered with blue velvet, ensuring a peaceful sleep.
The apartment is well-appointed with all modern conveniences. The kitchen is new and features the highest quality built-in appliances and a Nespresso coffee machine. We have top-of-the-line cooking utensils, pots, pans, high thread count and Frette sheets, bath sheets, luxurious bathrobes, silver candlesticks, 19th century gilded mirrors, an antique mantle clock, board games and lots of reading material for rainy days. Everything is new except the antique furniture. The apartment is wired with WiFi and a new Mac connected to a printer, two large flat panel screens, a Bose sound system, free worldwide telephone service (except Africa and South America), and Bluetooth to connect to the music system. There are also two standing air conditioning units.
So you do not need to bring guidebooks, hairdryers, adapters, computers, an iron, IPhone/Pad chargers, soap, shampoo, conditioner or umbrellas. We have all for your use.

In the heart of the "Great site of the 2 caps", Wimereux, small charming seaside resort of the Opal Coast, seduced us for its sea, its large sandy beaches, its dike, its pretty colorful villas and its atmosphere. retro ". All year long, it remains alive with its many shops and restaurants for all budgets.
It is the ideal destination for a family holiday.
Located on the dike of Wimereux, the apartment has a surface of 50 m² with sea view living room and bedroom. Completely renovated in February 2016, it is rented for up to 5 people. It is very well equipped: free WIFI, USB plugs for each bed, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen "like at home" to prepare good dishes. We provide a folding baby cot and a high chair if you wish. It has a mezzanine not included in the rent but available. (We are not responsible in case of accident related to the use of Mezzanine). The sea view apartment is on the 1st floor with elevator of a 19th century building emblematic of the resort ("The Grand Hotel"). It is ideally located on the dike of Wimereux: immediate beach access, downtown access all shops within walking distance. The resort has many restaurants including a gourmet.

Mme Barbeau met us on our first day and was very helpful. Arcachon itself is a lovely base for this part of France. It has a balcony with fantastic views of the sea to one side and the mountains to another. It is light and airy, spotlessly clean and well equipped - including washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. The sofa is comfortable, as is the bed (firm mattress). There are doors onto the small balcony terrace from both the bedroom and living room. This is not at all a complaint - but the only possible improvements would be the addition of a hairdryer and a couple of hooks to hang towels on in the bathroom (although there is a small towel rail). We also couldn't get wifi to work, but weren't sure if that was our error! The apartment is easy to find (with google maps) and has prominent signage. It's just outside the main part of the town - in easy walking distance (along a purpose built path with steps). It's part of a complex of several buildings with gated access. There's allocated parking for the apartment (within the gated complex). Just outside the complex are a few local businesses - so parking there is difficult (when you arrive and want to park whilst you wait for Francois to meet you). Francois was prompt in arriving, flexible about our arrival arrangements and very welcoming. He suggested a couple of places for us to visit - including recommending we drove along the coastal road back to Ajaccio (for our return flight) - rather than inland. We followed his advice and had an amazing return trip with stunning scenery. We also really appreciated him meeting us at the apartment complex - rather than his previously suggested location of the post office (as we arrived in L'ile Rousse and drove straight to the apartment rather than going into the town). We'd definitely recommend this apartment."
