- "This was one of the best stays we’ve had while traveling thru France . Situated on enormous property, with fruit and olive trees, play ground and pool the house is a perfect getaway that feels like visiting your family. Having a car and finding place with parking yet close enough to all desired destinations was the key. Guy (the owner)has greeted us warmly and gave the tour of the property and our room . Room is spacious, meticulously decorated and clean. The setting is so quiet that sleeping with windows open was such a welcoming thing (especially after leaving noisy Annecy). Our room had a private patio with table and lounge chairs. One night we had some wine and fruit after a busy day of site seeing. The best part of the stay was home cooked breakfast that awaited us every morning. Home made yogurt, variety’s of jam made by Guy and his wife , fresh eggs from their chickens, freshly squeezed juice, baked goods and cheeses, local sausage. Guy helped us to choose best travel itinerary and gave recommendations to restaurants and sites in the area. Located in a hamlet on a no-through-road (no passing traffic) the location is very peaceful and enjoys beautiful views across the village and the surrounding countryside. The Cottage is just minutes from fairytale settings of Chateau de Commarque and Les Jardins de Marqueyssac, historical sites of Font de Gaume, Lascaux Caves, Chateau Castlenaud and medieval villages of Beynac, Les Eyzies and Sarlat-la-Caneda.

The cottage looks out onto a large courtyard with a beautiful Mulberry tree that sits in the centre. The courtyard is your own private area to relax in and enjoy watching the swallows fly in and out of the barn door. Also, your personal 3 burner Weber gas grill is in the courtyard so you can cook up a barbeque. Inside the cottage there are beautiful wooden floors and all the modern conveniences of home. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast table and bar stools. The living and dining room area is one great room. The living room has 2 comfortable reclining leather chairs and a lovely sofa to relax on. The custom made sofa is a sleeper bed for the possibility of having a third guest. The town is quaint, the countryside is bucolic defined. The access to neighboring towns and tourist sites is quite easy. We had dinner (wine, cheese, bread, fruits and pastries) every night on the tiny back balcony that overlooked the garden and watched the storks nesting no more than 50m away. Had to pinch myself at how awe inspiringly gorgeous the house was. 100/100 would recommend."

We particularly enjoyed our breakfasts to the sound of birds and smell of pine trees, in the late afternoons a short 50 metres trip to the sandy beach to enjoy a swim and watch the boats in the bay. Michèle and George were great hosts, helping with our washing and even lending us a pushchair more suited to the beach, than our own runaround. The local carrefour was 5 minutes drive away also had a great fishmonger, grocer and Boulanger near by. To keep us fully supplied with all we needed for our stay. The sounding coast and national park had interesting places to see and explore the recommended Breton parc restaurants were particularly good. Guerande, la Baule, Piriac sur la mer and La Turballe were good places to visit. We drove down to Mesquer via the Roscoff ferry, which was an easy drive. Having a car was well worth the drive to explore the area."

All shops are a 5-minute drive away in the nearby village in Lusigny-Sur-Barse.

Check-in is from 4pm until 10pm at our restaurant Le Belvédère. For earlier check-in requests, this will only be possible if the listing is not booked the day before.

In the private estate of Les Algae, 300m from Elephant Beach and 800m from Nartelle Beach, this Villa in a green and quiet setting will make you spend a perfect holiday. The house has a spacious terrace and a flowery Provencal garden.

The space
The accommodation offers 3 bedrooms with one double bed per bedroom. 160 x 200 cm (upper bedroom with balcony and sea view), 140 x 200 cm (upstairs from the living room) and 120 x 200 cm (on the ground floor, with independent shower).
A crib is available with the rental of the accommodation.
The kitchen is open to the living/dining room as well as the outdoor area, terrace, garden and barbecue.
Air conditioning is installed in all bedrooms as well as in the living room.
Guests are welcome to use the pool located right in front of the house and shared by a small condominium.
In the living room you will enjoy the smart TV to which you can plug your own devices, tablets, phones, etc.
