To reach Rome by regional train from Santa Marinella or Santa Severa station:
you must purchase a single ticket at the station called "BIRG", it costs 9.30 euros to have the possibility of traveling by train and other public transport until midnight. You must activate the ticket in the machine at the station.

Just 20 minutes by car from the Fiumicino International Airport "Leonardo da Vinci" and 40 minutes from the historic centre of Rome.
For those who do not have their own car it will not be the problem of reaching us:
you have to take the train from Rome (airport "Leonardo da Vinci" Fiumicino or Ciampino airport) to Santa Marinella station.
We will pick you up at the station at the established time and take you home with our car.

To go to Rome by car:
exit on the Rome-Civitavecchia A12 / E80 highway: distance 1 minute from the house, after 10-15 minutes take the Torrimpietra exit and go by Via Aurelia SS1 until Rome GRA (great ring road) it takes 10-15 minutes and enter into Rome.

To go to Rome by train
from the Santa Marinella train station :
train to Rome leaves every 30 minutes, it takes 45 minutes to reach Rome San Pietro (Vatican), 55-60 minutes to reach Rome Termini central station.
from the santa Severa train station it takes 40 minutes to reach San Pietro.

To go to Rome by bus "Cotral".
Blu bus reaches Rome metro station "Cornelia" (1h20 min.-1h40 min).
Ottaviano or Cipro stop: the first is closest to St. Peter's Basilica, the second is closest to the Vatican Museums entrance
The bus also goes to nearby towns Ladispoli, Civitavecchia (Port of Rome).

The large swimming pool has the shape of a trapezoid of approximately 16ftx32ftxh6.5ft, (5mx10mxh2m) is for the exclusive use of guests. The outdoor swimming pool is available all year round, except for unforeseen events, storm surges, strong winds or for technical reasons, please ask for availability out of the summer season.

The heated mini-pool is a real swimming pool available in September, October, April, May, June (heating is not available in July and August, the water is +30°C), it has 24-hour continuous infinity filtration, ideal for a group of people for a pleasant hydromassage, a filter is designed for large swimming pools, so the water always remains very clean.
The treatment of the mini-pool is with active oxygen so as not to smell chlorine in the kitchen-dining room. The water is heated 24 hours a day (34°C-36°C).

Separate waste collection and "door-to-door" disposal according to the precise schedule. The rule set by the city and not by the owner. The owner will help you with disposal during your stay.
Failure to comply with the rules of the calendar, waste mixed up due to the lack of will of the guests and left on the terrace/kitchen on the day of departure are considered as enormous damage to the owner and the house. Guests will have to take their waste with them and dispose of it personally at their own expense. The owner is not obliged to dispose of the waste produced by the guests themselves and even less is he obliged to separate the rubbish inside the bags left by the guests after their departure.
Before departure (when the house is handed over) guests can leave only the minimum amount of rubbish on the veranda: the black bags from the bathrooms, a few small quantities of crushed/reduced and non-bulky plastic bottles, some well-separated rubbish.

Please do not leave (for hygienic-sanitary reasons) the waste (from "beachcombing") in the boat shed, there are several municipal services / associations that collect garbage from the beach.

Hot season. There is the central climate control inside the apartment, it has 4 grids in 4 bedrooms, air flow is adjustable in each bedroom.

Cold season. There is the central heating in the villa and there are infrared panels on the veranda.

Santa Marinella is as old as Roman history, and can be traced back to ancient Etruscan times as a settlement known as Punicum, which was located on the promontory of the current Santa Marinella. You can see the retaining walls still today of the old Roman maritime villa once with fish farms and a port, and taken over by the Roman jurist, Ulpian in the 3rd century AD. It was excavated in the 19th century. A second important site is the Odescalchi Castle at the nearby Santa Severa, where funerary inscriptions are preserved in the gardens as well as in those of the surrounding estates.
Le Palafitte: Continuing along the stretch of shoreline headed south, there is a series of terraced stilts, very small wooden cottages on pillars also made of wood, which follow one another creating a picturesque landscape, and has been declared a Unesco heritage site.
Another important site is Villa Saracena: built by renowned Italian Architect Luigi Moretti.
