The food was delicious & piping hot when we got it though! Just know you may have to wait a good while. Regarding the property, the house is split up into three properties - two on top & one on the bottom (we think!) :) We were in the tiny efficiency on the second floor. There are tons of windows but no curtains (just blinds) so it’s super bright at night & in the am. We found two beach chairs & an umbrella in the closet. Things are well stocked in the room & we were pretty comfortable. A warning that the shower pressure is strong - almost to the point of pain and the water is set to extremely hot. Probably dangerous for kids, actually. The walk to the beach is only a few minutes and the neighborhood is a joy to explore. Restaurants and shops are a few more minutes away (walking the opposite direction) We recommend walking towards the drawbridge to North Beach. There’s a big park there and a trail, also a Maritime Museum. Along with more neat houses to gawk at. :) We highly recommend Sunset Manor & South Haven! Thanks for a nice stay."

Michiana #2 is a two bedroom, one bath first floor apartment ideally located on the northeast corner of Michigan Avenue and Indiana Avenue in downtown South Haven, Michigan. Please note there are four steps up to the back deck leading into the apartment from the driveway.

The Michiana's original structure was built in the late 1800s as a large single family home. Years ago it was converted into four separate apartments with two one bedroom apartments and two two bedroom apartments. Apartment #2 has two spacious bedrooms with one queen bed in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has a closet, a dresser and a chair. The living room has comfortable seating as well as a table and chairs for dining or a game of cards. Apartment #2 has had both mechanical and cosmetic updates while still retaining some of the original historic details and finishes. The apartment has a very functional floor plan (see pictures) that can comfortably accommodate a family of four or two adult couples.

There is shared outdoor deck directly adjacent to the apartment with western exposure which gets nice afternoon sun. There is also a Weber grill on the deck making it convenient to grill lunch or dinner outside. Directly next to the deck is the off street parking area so you do not have to carry your luggage or your groceries too far when loading and unloading your car.

The location is truly ideal. The Michiana is what we like to call 'Close, but not too close!'. By this we mean that it is an easy walk home from the restaurants and night life on Phoenix Street, yet far enough away that you can still sleep peacefully at night with the windows open. The walk to South Beach is only three blocks west straight down Michigan Avenue. This is the best of small town Americana! Have your morning coffee and sweet roll on a bench on Phoenix Street and watch people stroll by. Then head back home to change into your swim suit and walk down to the beach for a day of fun in the sun. We feel the Michiana is centrally located between downtown South Haven and the beautiful South Beach.

Renovated from top to bottom, the Farmhouse Guesthouse features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. This is perfect if you want to add more people to your South Haven farm experience getaway or if you are a smaller group looking to vacation in South Haven. If the groups are unrelated, Guesthouse guests do not have access to the common areas of the Farmhouse to maintain privacy.

South Haven is a fantastic community and from the Guesthouse you will be 12 minutes to downtown and the beach and less than 5 minutes to the Lake Arvesta Sports complex. You will love the farmer's markets, wine tasting and breweries to explore in South Haven and Saugatauk.

The Developer saved a part of South Haven history by restoring, repurposing and making this Old 1913 High School into several Post Modern and Contemporary living spaces. This space is located on the 2nd Floor, with just one flight of stairs - this vintage building was not built with an elevator. However, that short flight of stairs is so worth it, for once you enter, you will feel the positivity within this Loft and know you made the right decision as to where to stay. You will find that the exposed brick enhances the decor in every room. The Artwork throughout the loft adds to the mood; it is bright, fun and full of movement.  The bedroom feels warm and hip, the design and integration of the furniture makes it feel familiar and comforting. The soft sheets on the queen size bed and deep pillows will pull you into a good night’s sleep. For your guests, they will find themselves on a very comfortable pull-out - one which has made many guests rethink how they felt about sleeping on one.

It’s a short walk to everything downtown South Haven has to offer; the restaurants, the shopping, the yacht club and most importantly, the beach. However, it's even a shorter walk to the Six Chicks Scratch Kitchen and Cafe Julia’s is just around the corner from there; two local favorites that should be included on the “to do” list, right after Clementine’s.

Benny’s on Broadway is conveniently located 2 hours from Chicago, 50 minutes from Grand Rapids, and 40 minutes from Kalamazoo! Guests at Benny’s on Broadway will have access to the entire 690 sq ft condo as well as all of the shared community amenities (pool, hot tub, workout room, theater, grills, patio, fire pit spaces.) There is parking for up to 2 vehicles spaces offered in a shared parking lot. Parking spaces are not designated. We do provided a detailed virtual welcome book once your booking is confirmed. It offers great information about the condo and the area, including all of our local recommendations. Guests will also enjoy keyless entry into the building as well as into the condo. A key fob will be located inside the condo allowing access to the amenities throughout the condo community.
