Your private entrance is behind the garage, and fenced in. There is no alley behind the property. The long enclosed patio allows you a private place to sit and enjoy the outdoors on a nice evening, or to sip your coffee in the morning.
A reserved parking spot in the spacious, fenced driveway. Your car will be under security camera surveillance throughout your stay for your peace of mind.

The space
We have a beautiful covered deck in the backyard with patio furniture, TV, lots of plants, and ambiance from the lights at night to help unwind from the day and enjoy the outdoors! There is an above ground pool to enjoy and pool floats! And if you decide to go enjoy Palo Dura Canyon, the pool is nice to come home to and cool off! I highly recommend going and exploring the beautiful canyons!

Also, right out the back gate, there is a park to take your fur babies on a walk!

You are welcome to bring up to two pets, but please see our pet rules before booking to ensure you are ok with these rules. The non-refundable pet fee of $75 is also required prior to bringing a pet. If it is discovered that a pet has been brought without the pet fee being paid, there will be a $150 fine. We hate to have to say this, but it is to protect our property from potential damage. Our four legged friends don’t act the same in other’s homes as they do in our own! Thank you for understanding!

The Coyote is a small cabin, approximately 12’ x 12’ on the inside, with a covered front porch and an extended side deck with a view east towards Palo Duro Canyon.
Designed for just two guests, it offers more open space inside than our other tiny cabin, the Roadrunner. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, table and chairs, bathroom with shower and toilet, and kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink, microwave, coffeemaker, and outdoor area with gas grill (we provide the propane). It has a window A/C unit.

This is a cozy one bedroom guest house that is a perfect little place to stay on your trip to Palo Duro Canyon, or to Visit WT or just to enjoy any of the restaurants or stores Canyon has to offer!! You will have the whole place to yourself and parking is conveniently located just steps from the front door!!
Along with qtips, cotton balls and face wipes, If you forget any toiletries, we provide a toothbrush and tooth paste and a disposable razor. I have a ring doorbell camera monitoring the front door.

You will have access to the whole guest house! It is not attached to the main house and you should never see the people in the main house as the entrances face opposite directions!

There are two houses at this address! You will go through the alley to park for this one!!
This house is a block from the train tracks and Canyon is a train town so trains go through all day! The trains no longer blow their horns in town so noise is minimal, I would describe it as a low rumble, but this might bother some people and is just something to note!

Exceptional renovated studio! This space is completely new on the inside with an outdoor patio area great for that morning coffee, evening glass of wine or just a peaceful place to retreat. We provide a full kitchen with every amenity you will need to cook a complete meal along with a washer and dryer to get a head start on your laundry. The bathroom has 2 sinks and a huge walk in shower. You also have a private garage you can safely pull your vehicle into; so no need to unload your car for the night. The space sleeps 2 comfortably on a high quality inter spring mattress with gel foam top.
NOTE: the loveseat sofa sleeper makes out into a full size bed.

If you enjoy preparing your food rather than going out, we have your basics covered. Kitchen is stocked with medium and small sized skillets and pots, baking trays, muffin tins, mixing bowls, cutting boards, knives, scissors, measuring cups, strainer, wine bottle opener, can opener, spatulas, plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, kids plastic dish ware, and some olive oil, salt and pepper and even a Brita filtered water pitcher.

The gathering room is large with a seating area, dining table, and kitchen with island. It is adorned with decorations that give you a true taste of West Texas. The bathroom is large and beautifully decorated with Mexican tile, an antique door and bench for dressing. The bathroom has a spacious walk in shower, but a bathtub is not included.
Our Casita is in a quiet, family neighborhood built on the top of the canyon in Canyon Country Club. For this reason, we ask that you keep noise level low, especially after 10 p.m. Our neighborhood has a semi-private 9 hole golf course, which you are welcome to book for a tee time. We have a golf cart for your use if you would like to go down the hill to the pro shop. The canyon is home to a lot of wildlife including deer, turkey, owls and much more. We are 5 minutes from West Texas A&M University (and welcome family of the students), and the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum (the largest in Texas). Palo Duro Canyon is the second largest canyon in the United States and has many hiking and mountain biking trails for the outdoor enthusiast, and it’s just a quick 20 minute drive from our place. The musical, TEXAS, is also at Palo Duro Canyon and runs from June to August. The square in Canyon is only minutes away and has several fantastic restaurants such as, Sayakomarn’s, The Imperial Taproom, Joe Taco, Barrel and Pie, Recreation, and the Rockin’ Zebra Soda Shoppe. We are also 20 minutes from Amarillo which has lots more restaurants like the well-known Big Texan, and activities like Amarillo Art Museum, Symphony, and Ballet, the historic Route 66, the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum, Wonderland, Cadillac Ranch and the new SodPoodles AAA baseball team.
We have a playground for children to play supervised by parents, and a tandem bicycle upon request. You will be welcomed with snacks and a few drinks, but also by our golden retriever, Sadie. She loves visitors! We want you to enjoy your time here, capture the sunsets and sunrises, relax and spend some time in the Panhandle.
