The Deluxe Eco Retreats are for experience seekers- classy camping, a South African Safari tent on an elevated floor with private ensuite, kitchenette, TV, electric heating and cooling, deck & BBQ. Bush views birds and kangaroo. The Retreats can sleep a maximum of 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children. Tariff is for 2 adults. An additional 3rd adult are an extra charge of $50 per night and children are an additional $30/child/night. Children under 2 years are NOT permitted
The space
A delightful blend of bush & beach, nestled amongst the gum trees of Lorne's forested backdrop, yet only 3 minutes drive to the Great Ocean Road. Magnificent beaches, cosmopolitan restaurants and Lorne's bustling shopping village.
Guest access
Guests can access the walking track, yabby dam and adventure ropes course on the property and Lorne's beautiful beaches, waterfalls cafes, restaurants and the Great Ocean Road are just a few minutes drive away.
Other things to note
When booking direct, half the total tariff is required to confirm the booking and the remainder is required the day before arrival. We reserve the right to request bonds at any time.
If paying by credit or debit card a 1.5% surcharge will apply to all transactions.
Check-in is from 2pm until 9pm and check out is at 10am.
We have a strict policy on noise and rowdy behaviour. We expect all guests to respect the quiet enjoyment of other guests. Failure to respect this policy may result in you being asked to leave without a refund. We reserve the right to request bonds at any time.
Strictly 'NO SMOKING' in the accommodation. Failure to comply will result in a minimum $200 charge to guest credit card due to the inability to rent to following guests.

Honeysuckle is situated on a property called Springwood.
There are other accommodations on the property close by. The double story mud brick home next to Honeysuckle includes two apartments. Jasmine on the top floor and Melita on the ground floor, which are also listed on Airbnb.
This is a very peaceful place and not the place for parties or loud noise/music.
Honeysuckle is a one bedroom Cottage. In the bedroom is a queen size bed. In the lounge room there is a single day bed, so there is also an option to have a third person stay.
If your booking is for 2 guests, the queen bed will be made up unless you state otherwise.
There is a lovely gas log heater, that will keep you nice and cosy during the colder times. There is aircon in the lounge room above the single bed. The cottage has a fully self contained kitchen, including a gas stove/oven, microwave, grill, toaster and fridge. The bathroom includes a bath with a shower overhead and a washing machine with trough. The toilet is in a seperate room next to the bathroom. There is unlimited wifi, a smart tv and a blu-ray player.
The cottage is yours for your stay and you are welcome to explore around the property too. There is a communal washing line next to the cottage that other guests use which you are most welcome to make use of too.
The property is up the top of Lorne, 1.6 km from the main beach and town. A vehicle is recommended as the hills are a steep walk. Honeysuckle can be a bit tricky to find, please contact me if you need any help finding the place
As a host I like to give my guests privacy but I am easily reachable if you need anything or have any questions.
Lorne is a beautiful place explore. I highly recommend Erskine Falls, Cora Lyn Cascades and the Tramway Track. Teddy’s Lookout is about a 20 minute walk from the property.

If you're looking for a private, well insulated comfortable apartment set in the stillness of the bush but close to downtown Lorne, with a cool mid century ambiance and all the comforts of home, then this might be what you're looking for.
The space
The apartment is one of two sitting side by side on the top floor facing out into the bush and ocean beyond. The unit consists of four bedrooms. Two bedrooms with Queen size beds, one with attached en-suite. A third bedroom has two single beds and a fourth with just one single bed.
The Unit also contains a separate laundry equiped with washing mechine and dryer, and a fully functional kitchen. The unit is well insulated with a very efficient reverse cycle Aircon, making it warm and comfortable in the depths of Winter, and cool in Summer.
It is ideally suited for couples, a group of friends, or moderate to large size families. Alternatively if you were to book the adjoining two bedroom apartment (Albert 2 also listed with Airbnb) it would be perfect for two to three families.
Other things to note
Try not to be to put off visiting the Surf Coast if bad weather is forecast. The drama and colors of the sky and ocean in the depths of winter can be truly spectacular. During Winter Lorne is very peaceful and one can often walk along stretchers of pristine beach with almost no one in sight. Then sit in a warm cafe with a hot tea or coffee and read a good book. Between July and September its whale watching season. (A flag is raised in front of the Tourist Information center if a whale has been spotted close by) For these reasons we actually prefer Lorne in winter. There is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing :-)

This architectural studio is contemporary, fitted with exposed steel beams, floor to ceiling glass and charcole timbers. Set in the charming coastal resort of Lorne, this property offers first class accommodation, within a 5 minute walk to the beach, shops, restaurants/cafes.
Views to the Pier and Loutit Bay. Charming split level residence with two merbau decks to capture those stunning bay views and birdlife. Sit on your balcony and watch the birds come to you, colourful, tame and quite friendly, you will be visited even by kookaburras.
This is an adults retreat suitable for 2-3 persons. (unsuitable for children). Tariff applicable if more than 2 guests.
CONTAINING 2 bedrooms with queen beds, bathroom leading on to rear deck. Open plan kitchen/dining/living area -Split system air-con/heating, ceiling fans, DVD, sound system, two flat screen TV's , kitchen equipped with cultery, crockery, microwave, dishwasher, electric range.
