Welcome to your temporary home away from home. This brand new construction unit has everything you need to make you comfortable as if you were at home, with high-end finishes in all areas. There is a beautiful park with a lake a few steps down the street where you can go for a nice walk everyday. It’s also close to Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm.

This quaint guest house has a very comfy king bed and an air mattress (if needed please let me know). Beautiful walk in tile shower access to wash the day away. Guests have access to the garden, patio, and gas fire pit. There is a private entrance and I welcome all people from all walks of life.

If you are booking this space for someone else please get prior approval. You will assume all risk for them and are responsible for getting them the check in instructions.

The space
The studio has a king bed, a sitting area, tv with Disney +, Hulu, Max, Sling, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and WIFI. It also has a microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. I’ve left a few dishes, silverware, and coffee and wine glasses for your use as well. Please note that the city’s quiet hours are from 10 pm - 9 am. Trash and recycle bins are located behind the studio. Please recycle. If you leave your recyclables on the counter when you check out, I will take care of them. If you bring your pets, there’s a rake and scoop by the trash bins with a white bucket for their waste.

Guest access
This space has a beautiful backyard that you are welcome to use. It is fully gated with a small gas fire pit. Enjoy your meals outside on the patio furniture or on the grass as a picnic.

I recommend downloading the app where you’ll have access to the check in instructions just before your arrival. Please. DO NOT go to the front door.

Other things to note
You will enter through the large white gated area to the left of the main home. There is an eye hook latch on both the inside and outside of the gate. Please latch it once you are inside or when you leave. This is your private entrance. There is an access code for the door to the studio in the arrival guide (available 48 hours prior to check-in) click arrivals guide, check-in instructions, keypad, and all the info you need should be there for you.

There’s a two pet maximum allowed for guest. For more, just ask. You may leave your door open only while you are there with your pets. If the door is open, you should not run the AC/heater. Please do not leave your pets to roam the backyard if you are not with them. Of course pick up after your pets in the yard. There’s a pail, rake, and shovel behind the studio for their droppings. There will be extra fees assessed for failure to comply.

Please ask if you plan to have more people over other than the two registered guests. There will be an excess cleaning fee added when and if necessary.

There’s a medium sized Aussiedoodle, Henri, who shares the backyard and is around periodically. He’s friendly, but he’ll likely bark at first, but will love you if you throw his ball.

Every other Saturday the gardener comes around 8:00. He’s quick, no more than an hour, but if you’d prefer to sleep in and he come later, please let me know before you check in. Thanks for understanding.

We are close to Chapman University, 2 malls, outlets, parks, freeways, Anaheim convention center and the Honda Center. Disneyland is a 12 minute drive.
There is lots of free street parking.
Friends allowed but no parties.

The space
This property is best for two people. There’s a bed and a new sleeper sofa. Additional guests are allowed for an extra charge.
Our studio apartment is a short drive from Disneyland and a short walk from Old Town Orange and Chapman University.
We designed our “Casita” to be welcoming and airy but cozy at the same time. We are trying to provide everything you could want for a relaxing stay away from home.
We do provide a microwave, toaster oven and a hot plate. If needed we can also give you an Instapot or crockpot. But, honestly with so many good restaurants just a few minutes away in "Old Town Orange" who wants to cook!
We do not have a washer or dryer but a laundromat is not far down the street.
If you came to get away from "things" or if you like nature you will appreciate our fun little backyard.

Guest access
You have full use of the yard areas, chairs, cushions, bbq etc. we are usually not around during the week, but may run into you on the weekend. We will give you space if you want it or sit down for a chat, and margaritas, if you like.
We also have two bicycles available for you
Have fun but treat our space like you would your own.

If you are a party of three or more, please let me know so I can leave extra linens and towels. There is an extra charge of $35 per additional person.

We have all new bedding & furnishings, faux Venetian plastered walls, custom paint colors, granite counters, new appliances, custom tile & natural stone in the bathroom, Craftsman mouldings & casings, wood floors, and all the kitchen essentials you would find in your own home. Each room is equipped with ceiling fans and the vaulted coffered ceilings have dimmable LED lights. USB charging ports are integrated in some of the wall outlets.

Our guest house is set up specifically for the use of guests. We do not have any of our personal items in the space. Guests may enjoy the privacy of the entire guest house.
We do offer on-site parking for one guest vehicle in our driveway, just steps from the Guest House front door.
* Please note that if you do not have a vehicle during your stay, or if you are away for the day, my husband may park his truck in our driveway.  😉

We are a young family. Well... our children are young, ages one and five years. My husband and I are forty-ish. :)
The city of Orange is a bird sanctuary city, so many residents have backyard chicken coops and enjoy farm fresh eggs each day! We have a small coop with three hens, Shiny, Tiny, and Dawn, that provide us with delicious eggs. You need not worry about any noise from them, as only hens are allowed in our city. Roosters or "cocks" are not allowed.
We have an all white Malamute, Timber, who basks in the sun most of the day. He does not bark, but occasionally cries when we leave for for outings.
Our yard is entirely separate from the guest house. So, there is no access between your space and ours. The guest house is a separate structure from our personal home.

* December 2023 update: our children are ages six and ten years. My husband and I are still forty-ish. ;)
Our chicken coop has been completely rebuilt and has its own foundation with automated water and feeders.
We have a new pack-member this year, our one year old Alaskan malamute “Rookie”.

We are close to John Wayne Airport, Ontario Airport, Long Beach Airport, the Amtrak station, and 1 hour from LA International. It's just waiting for you to enjoy!

The pool is finished! It's so amazing! There are so many awesome features including 4 waterfalls, a slide into the pool, and UNDERWATER MUSIC, as well as built in speakers around the pool and Patio! Play I SPY and find all of our jungle animals strategically placed in our lush foliage around the pool. There is even an outdoor fireplace!
