Nicely kept homestead cabin on cattle ranch 35 minutes from Cheyenne , Wyoming. Great place for Frontier Days . Your pets are welcome and we have great facilities for your horses. The ranch cabin started out as one room in 1869, over the years it has grown to its current size. Guests have access to the cabin and outside to enjoy the fresh air, cook on the barbecue or take a long walk.

There are no gas stations or restaurants in Horse Creek. Come with a full tank and food for your stay. Enjoy the views and avoid the hustle and bustle of driving to town.

This lovely log sided property sits next to Crow Creek and is located on the historic Wyoming Hereford Ranch. The recently updated home will delight you especially if you are a jogger, birder, star gazer, walker or you are into siting mule deer, mallards, kittens or hearing the call of coyotes in the distance. We can provide you with insight for visiting the mountains, Cheyenne historical sites or staying here on the ranch. The master 1/2 bath has heated floors, hardwood/slate throughout.
The space
A children's play area is adjacent to the cabin, with a little zip line, sand pile and mini cabin all fenced in; seating is available so the adults can directly supervise the children's fun activities. Whether you are planning to unplug or take a few minutes to catch up on obligations, you will be comfortably enjoying your work or play. Brides, if you are married on the beautiful WHR grounds, book this space to get ready in luxury and stay the night! A great gift idea for the bride and groom.

Please call for exact directions, sometimes the GPS doesn't get you exactly to the destination! Once you do arrive at 1121 Hereford Ranch Rd, come through the entry pillars to the rear; on your left you will see a pad on which to park and the log house ahead of you. Welcome!
Other things to note
The stars have been sensational lately. The dirt roads are safe for families to ride bikes or amble down the road to the bridge and throw rocks into the creek. As you read on the amenities, the cabin is well stocked so pack minimally and drive to the ranch. Also, the lodging can be for 6 if the IKEA couch is pulled out properly.
