- "The location and atmosphere can't be beat. The area was very lush and gorgeous, and we could see the sunrise over the beach from our patio (and showers!). The cottages, each an individual standalone unit, had a wonderful rustic decor, with plenty of windows to enjoy the scenery. The establishment is not kidding about the lack of connectivity though: I couldn't connect to the complimentary wifi, and I had only emergency calls and no data through my Verizon provider. But if you want to go off the grid, this is the place! It was very quiet and peaceful at night, except for the coqui frogs. Some find their incessant chirp annoying, but I enjoyed it as part of the atmosphere. I wish I could have stayed longer, and I'll definitely be back if I have the opportunity."

Our farm sits up on a bluff, close enough to the ocean to hear it and walk to it. Yet, in case of a tsunami warning there is no need to evacuate as we are not in the evacuation zone. The walk to the beach is very enjoyable. Its down a shady little road that takes about 15 to 20 minutes depending on the pace.
Located in the East for the perfect base to explore both sides of the island from.

- "My husband and I love staying here. The place is perfect for two, the location is one of our favorite places on the island. The outdoor shower is the greatest and feels wonderful. In the evenings we love sitting on the porch and watching the geckos. Diana is kind and helpful. Paradise for two." - "Loved this cabin on a farm at the foot of King Kong Mountain,1 mile from an uncrowded beach. We only saw locals at this beach. Location on the east side was superb for accessing the entire island if you have a car. Lush garden around property with coconut trees which we were allowed to eat from. Grounds are well kept. Loved sitting on the porch. Bed slept great and cabin was well equipped. Bedroom has window unit air conditioner which kept bedroom cool at night and in mornings. However, it couldn’t handle mid-day temperatures. A larger unit may be needed. But we we’re out and about during most days. I would definitely recommend this cute, comfortable cabin!"

Official website. When Granma was 95, we had to move her in with us to take care of her. This left her little panabode cabin (900 square feet with a 500 square-foot wrap-around lanai) vacant. Lucky you . . . you can spend your Hawaiian vacation in this beautiful, quiet, and centrally located cabin which has just about everything.
There is a complete kitchen, a bath with tub and shower, a washer/dryer, a living/dining room, and a cable TV . There is also a big gas barbecue, and birds for a morning alarm clock. We even left all the little nick knacks in place to make this is truly a 'home-away-from-home'.
The home is backed by a herb farm and macadamia nut orchard. It is surrounded by mac nuts, lychee, and mango, avocado, and citrus trees. If anything is in season during your stay, you are welcome to enjoy it.

As you tour the island and along the Kona Coast you can see cattle ranches, rain forests, lava fields, volcanoes, snowcapped mountains in the winter, beaches, and spectacular valleys and waterfalls.
Our cabin is located in one of the most temperate places on earth. We have over 300 excellent days a year. All of our prior guests have raved about their stay, and have vowed to come back. The Big Island has something for everyone.
