Really appreciated the easy access to the river and they had all the outdoor amenities like kayaks, coolers, boogie boards, and bikes (for the 10 mile bike path just a block up the road!) It was central to the Kauai adventure tubing, Smiths luau, and only 30 mins from the north shore. Kapaa town is 5 mins and has all amenities. The road this property is on is also on a Heritage trial —which has multiple sacred sites to visit, a Hindu temple, and a waterfall! I can’t say enough about this place. "

- "Put this review off for awhile intending to dismiss it but was reminded again so here goes. Large home in convenient location, with all the necessities. Just a few things that would be better is if screens/windows were repaired or replaced so they can be opened to allow airflow and less use of a/c. Especially in the upstairs bathroom. We couldn’t figure out where the outside stairs light was, which would have been helpful as it was quite dark when getting back at night. Felt a little sheepish since there was a camera pointing right at us whenever outside the front door, which someone must have visual access to given the panel on interior wall. Also, fumigation every so often would definitely help with the “critter” issue. I was raised in Hilo with much of my family still there so didn’t have an issue with removing our trash from premises which is not something I’ve had to do in other vacation rentals I’ve stayed in. Usually there is clearly somewhere on site to dump it. Overall, good for a large group but not for those who are squeemish with insect or reptile type creatures or are used to “finer” lodgings. "
