- "We had a really great time at the cottage, because of the Covid situation we didn’t eat out but took everything with us to make meals in for the week. Every utensil we needed was in the cottage. We have 2 dogs and they loved it too, the garden was big and all enclosed so they could just roam. We loved sitting watching the birds and the squirrels visiting the various feeding stations in the garden and the hot tub was amazing after walking for miles each day exploring the area. All in all we had the best time and would definitely recommend to anyone. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo"

- "We had a wonderful time on holiday in Craigdarroch cottage. This was our second time staying in the cottage and as before we found it very comfortable in terms of heat (we could control the heating temperature) and equipment (nice couches to relax on and good cooking utensils). It had everything we needed within the cottage and has fantastic scenery surrounding it. We enjoyed many walks from the front door and loved coming back to the log burner and a glass of wine. Only about a mile from the town by car, but although only a short distance there is no footpath to town so the car was required. There was a lot of road noise outside but this wasn't heard once inside the property. Rita had thought of everything and had left eggs, milk and juice for our arrival. The cottage has everything you will need and is a great size, feeling spacious inside and the wraparound garden is fully secure and a lovely place to sit and listen to the birds whilst enjoying a glass of wine. - "Lovely lodge as you'd expect. Only downside it wasn't decorated for Christmas. Very watm and cosy but dont forget to bring your own logs" - "The location itself was lovely however the lodge, although had been cleaned on main surfaces, requires a deep clean and suspect it has not had one for a while. The floors were dirty, we put the fluffy rugs to one side as they looked liked they had not been hoovered for a long time and had loads of bits in them. Mould on walls in one of the bedrooms, windows and sills not cleaned (lots of dead insects). Kitchen cleaned around the appliances only by looks of it. If a deep and thorough clean could be performed and a few bits updated then it would be lovely. I also sent message to cottages.com prior to stay and had no response. On a positive note it was a warm lodge and having the stove was lovely."
