- "We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and the welcome pack was a nice touch. It was very good value for 4 of us each having our own room and the view was great and I would definitely return." - "We had a wonderful time at this location. Unfortunately because of airline cancelations, we lost one of our planned days. However, the hosts were most gracious and took the extra mile to make sure all our needs were met. We loved the neighborhood store where we had breakfast. Everything was clean and easily accessible. The view was beautiful. Finding lodging in a country which we have never visited from home is not always easy. The cottage in Loch Fyne was a gem, and we feel fortunate we were able to spend some time there. Thank you for your hospitality and all of your kindness. We highly recommend this place."

- "The house is well organised. I will share three remaks to help you to improve it : - we didn't find a hairdryer; - it was impossible to dry our clothes in the garden (with the sun) because the rope for hanging is durty, broken so too short - the table legs are now too short: they need to be wedged Thank you again for this booking: we will come again!" - "Newton North was wonderful. Perfectly equipped, lovely decor, great location with marvellous views across the loch. Thoughtful extra touches like hot water bottles, binoculars, ice packs already in the freezer, etc. The only down side was the main road, which ran past the front door, with lorry traffic starting from early morning."

Relax, escape, switch off and unwind... Ornumville has no WiFi & no TV, making it the perfect place to escape the daily grind!
Sleeping 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, this quaint, traditional Scottish self-catering cottage in Inveraray offers a unique retreat. With views out over Loch Fyne from both bedrooms as well as the dining and living room, where could be better to wake up?!
The property enjoys an unrivalled view, and we often find ourselves just gazing out the window at the ever-changing landscape. It provides its own, unique sort of relaxation. With no TV and no WiFi, it allows you to truly escape day-to-day life (without any guilt!).
Bring a good book (or borrow one of ours!), and use your time at the cottage to escape your daily stresses. If you're looking for pampering too, the Loch Fyne Spa is just round the corner (2 minute walk), offering a variety of treatments as well as a Spa Day Pass with access to their swimming pool and facilities.
Located beside Loch Fyne, the cottage is perfect for fishing - mackerel fishing can be done from the shore, or the pier and is free of charge.
It is also popular with those bringing kayaks/sit-on canoes, or SUPs (these can be stored in the back garden).
With a good central location, Ornumville sits in the outskirts of Inveraray - only a 5 minute stroll to the shops/restaurants/bars, but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle.
We do not allow pets in this property, so it is suitable for those with allergies.

Inveraray offers a whole host of great places to eat and drink, along with some of the best visitor attractions in the area. Take a trip to Inveraray Jail or Castle; then walk up to Dun-na-Cuaiche - the tower that sits over the village; have dinner in The George, then watch the sun set over Loch Fyne.
With a good central location, it is around an hour up to Oban (with ferries to the various islands of the Inner & Outer Hebrides) - and it is also well placed for exploring both Kintyre and the Cowal peninsula.
