Situated in the village of Balnaguard six miles form Aberfeldy and Pitlochry and jut over an hours drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow, the cottage offers spacious accommodation over two floors. Built over 150 years ago and totally renovated 17 years ago the cottage now offers a comfortable,modernised home from home for up to 6 guests with all amenities to ensure a comfortable and peaceful home from home.
On the ground floor is a large farmhouse style kitchen the heart of the cottage with large American style fridge/freezer, large kitchen table seating p to 8+, dishwasher, electric ovens and gas hob. The utility/boot room is off the kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Wet outdoor clothing and footwear will dry overnight thanks to the underfloor heating and we advise to remove shoes and boots here to protect the wooden floors and carpets.
From the kitchen you enter the original part of the cottage where there is a cosy hub with wood burning stove, SMART TV, two couches and a great place for the chldren and adults alike to hang out and play board games. A handy separate toilet and the en-suite bedroom with king sized bed and bathroom. (bath with electric shower over) are also on this floor.
Stairs lead you to the upper floor where there is the twin bedded room, super king sized bedroom, a large walk in shower with toilet and a stunning upstairs lounge with balcony off. Large comfy sofas, SMART TV,Sonas speaker and beautiful views of the garden, hills and mountains making this the place to relax after a days sightseeing.
With underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and full gas central heating upstairs, the cottage is available all year round.
Bed linen, towels, electricity, gas and logs are included in the price and for the little ones we have a travel cot, high chair and portable stair gates.
Leading from the kitchen through sliding patio doors is the secluded garden with garden furniture, off street parking for up to 4 cars and a locked shed for bicycles. Double gates make the garden a safe haven for children.
Within walking distance of the cottage is Ballintaggart Farm where you can enjoy lazy Sunday lunches, feast nights and a cook school (booking is advisable through their website). They also own the Grandtully Hotel a short drive away in the village of Grandtully, a lively bistro with both inside and outside eating and here you will also find the Inn on the Tay, the Highland Chocolatier and lovely coffee shop serving light meals.
Pitlochry,Aberfeldy and Dunkeld have many eating establishments and coffee shops and Pitlochry also has a vibrant theatre, a salmon leap where you can view salmon coming back to the river of their origin.
Fishing permits can be obtained for local rivers and lochs, golf courses welcome visitors, water rafting on the river Tay and Tummel is not for the faint hearted but lots of fun especially for the young ones!

This period cottage which adjoins the main manor house was once part of the grand Eastertyre Estate, owned by three generations of the Crabbie family, known for the company John Crabbie & Co, with its ginger wine and blended whiskies.

The two-bedroom cottage which has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard sleeps 4 people creating an idyllic escape with family and close friends. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo" - "Hi, when we arrived we knew that the property was 17th century, and that looks like the last time, it was decorated :-). However, and this is a HUGE however, despite the fact, that this property is in need of a major refurb, this did not detract, from the fact, that we had a most enjoyable stay. On the day we left, there were 3 cleaners, ready to go into the cottage to clean it. If these are the normal cleaners, then I think that the managing agent, needs to replace them, as they are clearly not doing a proper job of it. The beds, linen, towels, etc were all clean, which was the most important part, and that's why we stayed. The kitchen had everything you need, and previous occupiers, had left salt, pepper, spices, oil, etc, so this was a good start, when we went to get our first shopping list. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, and although there is wetwall around the bath / shower area, the silicon needs replaced, as does the shower seal onto the bath. The master bedroom has an "en suite", which was so funny, as it was obviously a small walk in cupboard previously, and has been converted into a WC. It was really funny to see this. The lounge has 2 of newish 3-seater and a 2-seater sofas, has a coal fire, but also the cottage has central heating throughout, so was certainly not cold at all. It was very cosy in the lounge, after a long day, walking around the beautiful countryside. This cottage is excellently situated, for access to Moulin, Pitlochry, Edradour, Black Spout, Craigower, Ben-Y-Vrackie, and well as walks to Killiecrankie. It is directly behind the Moulin Inn (Circa 1695), and good food and selection of drinks are available. I even tried 3 of the Moulin Brewery Real Ales, which were very good, and at £3.70 for 3 third pints glasses, to try out 3 different ales, was a bargain. If the owner / management team, were to invest in a refurb of this cottage, it could be really amazing, but "all in all", we had a fabulous break, in this cottage, and would certainly use it again. - "The cottage set on the grounds of the Lick Estate, overlooking the Loch. Di was there to great us at 4:00 pm as arranged. After a brief tour of the cottage (Di had a few cakes in the oven), we were left to our own devices. Everything you need is there, full set of dishes, charcoal bbq and tools, lots of towels and an extremely comfortable bed. We found the location to be very quiet, with a great vantage point of the loch. The other cottage next door was also rented, but that didn’t present any problem in either proximity or noise. We did experience wi-fi issues with little to no connectivity, so if connecting is a priority, make sure you’ve got a solid data plan for your mobile. The only recommendation for improvement would be to leave some instructions for the hob / range. A sign of great upkeep is the cleanliness of the cottage, but alas, the cleaning has tended to rub away the symbols for heat and settings, making the first few meals somewhat of a voyage of experimentation and discovery. Cornerhouse Cottage, one-bedroom self-catering cottage, built around the 1900 and converted 20 years ago. It retains some of the original features such as open stone walls. Located in the idyllic village of Blair Atholl in the Cairngorms National Park. Walking distance to the Railway Station, intercity bus route, Blair Castle, 2 convenience stores, Golf Club, fishing, restaurant, hotel and pub, many walks of various difficulty. Little Redgate is surrounded by nature and our garden has an abundance of it. Red Squirrels and a great variety of birds are constant visitors. We overlook the River Tay and because we have little light pollution we have great stars at night.

Little Redgate is light, cosy and comfortable and you can do plenty or very little from here. We are in a great location for sporting activities or seeing the rest of Scotland - or maybe you'll choose to chill, relax and enjoy the space and scenery.

At Little Redgate you enter into a small hallway that leads off to the bathroom and living room.

The Kennels Cottage was originally used as the estate kennels to house all of the working dogs, and as such was a very noisy place at times! Come to The Kennels now and you will find a tranquil little treasure of a holiday cottage, with sensational panoramic views over the surrounding Scottish countryside. This detached cottage has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a shower room, so it is perfect for a small family or romantic couple looking for a retreat!

The open plan living area neatly incorporates the kitchen, sitting room and dining area. There is a drop leaf dining table with chairs, a comfortable sofa and chairs and a large flat screen TV with 'Freeview' Channels / DVD Player. From the sitting room double patio doors lead you out to the front of the cottage where you will find a large garden and patio with table and chairs for those who enjoy dining outside. With these views this is a fabulous little spot for a BBQ! There is another garden area to the side of the cottage with a clothes line for drying clothes and at the back of the cottages is a large grassed area which is shared between the five holiday cottages. This is a fantastic large space for outdoor fun and games.
The master bedroom is light and relaxing with a lovely window looking out to the wonderful views at the front of the cottage. The twin room has two single beds and is a fresh yet cosy little room with a large velux window overhead to let in plenty of natural light.

The two-bedroom cottage which has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard sleeps 4 people creating an idyllic escape with family and close friends. The quiet setting, great location and stunning views makes The Gardeners Cottage a well-situated property to explore Perthshire and the many rural activities nearby.

Downstairs you will find the open plan kitchen and dining area featuring modern appliances including induction hob/oven, washing machine, and dishwasher. The dining area with island and stools then opens into the living area comprising comfortable sofa seating, multifuel stove for those colder nights and SmartTV. The cottage also has WIFI throughout.

A convenient downstairs bathroom adjacent to living area also features a WC and wash basin.

On the first floor you will find two double bedrooms both with free standing storage, bedside tables, integral lighting, and USB charging ports. The shared family bathroom which is accessed via the landing features a walk-in shower, WC, and wash basin, there is also an additional WC on first floor.

Externally the property has a garden space complete with table and chair seating for 4. There is a secure barn facility for bike / canoe storage, plus clothesline for drying wetsuits and an outdoor tap.

Parking is provided. The property is situated within a courtyard area where there are neighbouring properties.

As you enter the property and through the hall, you will find the large open plan space comprising living area and kitchen separated by a large farmhouse style dining table and chairs. The kitchen features modern appliances including induction hob/oven and dishwasher with spectacular views out of all of the windows which look across pasture land and down to the Tay. It is also very common to see Red Squirrels, Deer and Eagles meters away from the property.
The living area comprises comfortable sofa seating, multi fuel stove for those colder nights and wall mounted SmartTV. Stable Block also has WI-FI throughout.

The space
Aros Cottage is comprised of 2 small bedrooms with double beds, an open plan kitchen/dining/living space and a shower room. It is fully self contained on the upper floor of a converted outbuilding. Please note, there is no additional space in the bedrooms for travel cots or cribs.
We can provide bed guards for children’s use, but no additional beds can be accommodated.
Total floor area is 45 sqm.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. High quality linen and towels are supplied as well as essentials such as toilet paper, hand soap, cleaning materials and condiments. Outside space comprises bench seating, and dining table/chairs for 4. A bbq is available on request.

Guests are welcome to explore the garden area to the east of the cottage, and will find an elevated hut for sundowners and stargazing, complete with fire pit. We supply some logs for your first night but more can be purchased from the local shop.

The cottage is on the upper floor of a converted out building. Guests have access to part of the 2 acre garden, including a private outdoor dining space.

Situated on the banks of the river Tummel in a beautifully peaceful location, but also providing close proximity to the festival theatre, the Dam and fish ladder, and a short walk into town with access to bars, restaurants and shops. The cottage has ease of access to the absolute best of everything highland Perthshire has to offer. Fishing from the bottom of the garden (permit required), golf nearby and an abundance of beautiful walks right from our doorstep. It is really is a gem of a place!

The space
Willow cottage is a 3 bedroom property recently fully renovated to a very high standard. It boasts two kingsize bedrooms on the first floor and 1 ground floor double. There are 2 bathrooms, one on the first floor with claw foot bath and shower, and a downstairs shower room. There is a fully equipped kitchen, separate laundry/boot room and pantry. Large gardens to front and rear of the property, the rear being fully fenced with outside dining area.
Both king size bedrooms have Smart TV’s, with master bedroom having access to skymultiroom, Netflix etc. There is also a large smart tv in the living room, again with sky and access to Netflix and other streaming apps. Super fast broadband is also provided. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for a great self catering holiday with dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, electric oven and hob, toaster and kettle and fridge freezer. There is also a laundry/boot room with washing machine and clothes drying rack.

A popular historic tourist town, Pitlochry boasts Victorian Scottish Baronial architecture with origins in the sixteenth century, and is rich with medieval castles and exquisite gardens. Pitlochry is also home to many ancient sites, including stone circles and standing stones such as the famous Dunfallandy Stone which dates back some 1,200 years. With a nod to the Victorian era the town boasts the beautiful Athol Palace Hotel and Spa where Victorians would visit for rest and recuperation. (our actual wedding venue, so definitely worth a visit). In the centre of Scotland it’s an ideal location to explore all Scotland has to offer with easy access to Glenshee and Aviemore ski resorts, Ben Nevis and Balmoral, Blair Athol Castle and much more! There is bungee jumping, zip wire, white water rafting at nearby Killiekrankie, and cycling routes galore….. if relaxing is your thing the cottage is in the ideal location to do just that, right on the riverside, relax in the south facing garden and take in the view! Guests to note, there is a security camera at the front door of the property.
